It is unique within the Sri Lankan national university system for being the only university to offer programs of study leading to Certificate, Diploma, Degrees and Postgraduate degrees up to PhD level through the Open and Distance Mode of Learning(ODL).The degrees awarded by the university are treated as equivalent to degrees awarded by any other Sri Lankan University under the preview of the University Grants Commission.

Very stupid way of selections. First we are suppose to make the payment and then they inform that London Alevels is not valid. When i ask for a refund they deduct 1000 from that. For there stupid mistake. Also the Assistant Director doesnt knw how to treat to a student. Stupid as ever. Not suitable to given even 1 star

The only state university that gives one of the best distance learning facilities. Eventhough you are not eligible enough to get in to other state universities from your z-score, we are so lucky to have this kind of a system in Sri Lanka which you can have degree without considering the z-score. There is some kind of a compitition for some degrees but it is worth to give a try and see.

When I was playing the Kandy Chess Tournament, I rested in this Campus in 2020. This place is have a beautiful nature. In this campus there are Science labs, Computer labs, Library, Playground, Canteen and etc. There is also a large space in this Campus. It's the main Campus in the Kandy area.

Everything is fine, But they are following worst system.. It took 7 years to have a diploma, and they changed the entire carriculam!!! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
