Beware of tourist trap, do yourself a favor and avoid this place! This place should be closed. They give Sri Lanka a bad name. They don’t have prices visible for their items and if you find something you like they ask for 10-20x the normal price. Avoid, not worth a single minute if your time. It’s just a big clothes store - it has nothing yo do with any silk garden. Go to the botanical garden or somewhere else and keep your holiday nice.

Tourist trap yes; but they have T shirts for 1,000 rupees too. I do not recommend to buy a costume here: For 100,000 rupees you will look like clown.

The female staff of the store are very rude.. I'm never gonna visit this place. We were looking for pure cotton sarees , we asked about it and a lady went '' no way that would atleast cost 50,000 who'll even wear that''.. they behaved like they wanted us out of the store. When we told them price didn't matter we wanted pure cotton saree she said '' we don't stock them just because 1 or 2 of our customers wants it''.... so rude!! The male staff were kind but the females staff🤮

Over priced and no good collection

Stopped here for currency exchange as advised by our car driver. Got a rate slightly better than at the airport, but we have got even better at a jewelry store arranged by a friend.

Best place for Silk clothes,Leather and some other cool stuff.👌

Very good place in one building a guest can have Restaurant. Gem shop, Apperal as well.Comments. For the review, I used a ball of color 370, and size 4.5mm/US7 needles in both metal and wood. Noro Silk Garden is a worsted-weight yarn, with 45% of the fiber being either silk or kid mohair, and the last 10% is lamb’s wool. The best way to view Noro Silk Garden is from the side of the ball, as the photos on our ordering page show; go ahead and dig your fingers into the layers of color to see if you can find what happens next. At first glance, some of the colors may look like they do not belong. Knitting with the yarn will change your mind on any skepticism, however.

Nice place , lot of collections, some prices are bit higher than local market , but thats how all over the countries depending with tourism...good place to visit. 👍
