Just happened to be in the neighborhood and I remembered Fresh Catch being featured on Triple D w/ Guy Fieri so we stopped for the spicy poke and seared Ahi. It tasted exactly how it was on TV! Onolicious!!! 😋🤙

4.7/5 stars. The spicy ahi katsu was delicious. We also tried most of the varieties of poke. They were also delicious. A fish market with a dine-in experience.

Amazing little diner with some excellent local flavor and dishes. We got the katsu ahi, and mushroom salmon. Great portions excellent and fresh food. Little secret you must do: substitute the rice with their smoked pork fried rice. That stuff is so delicious I could eat a whole meal of just that.

Dec 31, 2022: Last day of our Christmas trip home. Not exactly a "DDD" kind of place as we saw on TV but, show didn't show all of the place. Locals seems to enjoy the place with friendly counter helps, so did we. BEST Ahi limu poke we had on the Island this week. Nothing like real local shop, fresh poke made by people who enjoy these specialty of the Islands. Well worth the travel and trip...not that we came just for it but, it was on our radar. Looks like they'll have a brand new location coming up down the road, saw a construction area showing "Fresh Catch"...?

Really good local spot if you can make it to the Eastside of the island. They have tons of fresh fish and poke everything is served fresh and besides the poke. But they have tons of flavors of poke. We had the Hawaiian blend and the kitchen sink. Both had nice heat to it but not overwhelming. Prices are reasonable and u will get a lot for your money

Walked in on a whim and thought “why does this place look so familiar?!” Turns out it was on Triple D, and for good reason! It was delicious! First time trying poke and we loved it. Husband loved his fried rice with poke and I devoured the garlic chicken. SO GOOD!

I've had a lot of great poke in Hawaii, but I think this spot tops the list to date. We came here after a couple of our tour guides at Kualoa Ranch recommended it. We got a Poke Bowl with Creamy Wasabi, Hawaiian Blend, Kitchen Sink, Spicy Ahi. It was fantastic. I have no complaints. The Creamy Wasabi and Hawaiian Blend were my favorites but I would happily get any of them again. They have a huge selection of poke. I love that you can get as many different types as you want in your poke bowl. There's no set amount, you just tell them when to stop scooping. They aren't open for indoor dining right now, but there are tables you can eat at outside. This is hands down, the #1 spot you need to try on Oahu!

We stopped here for a quick lunch after driving through the close-by botanical gardens and it blew us away. The fish here truly was as fresh as advertised. I got the seared Ahi and my wife got their coconut shrimp lunch. Both were absolutely delicious. The also have a deli where you can purchase fresh seafood which also looked amazing

I got the chef's special & I left wanting more even though I was full! The food was delicious & my friend's felt the same way. We considered driving an hour there just for the food! I'll definitely visit this place again whenever I return to Oahu.

The best spicy shoyu ahi I have had. So fresh and flavourful. The wasabi taco is also super good if that’s your dish.

I am so glad we pulled into the parking lot of this place for a nice lunch on our way out to the north shore. The Poke was the bomb, they had lots of different marinades and flavors and everything we tried was awesome. They have rice that can go along with your poke But it’s not like a poke bar where they have a bunch of toppings and stuff. There are canning bottled beverages for sale. This was a really big surprise and one of our favorite spots that we ate at Oahu. Apparently Guy Fieri has eaten there and given it his thumbs up but it was still a very local joint with no long wait and a well seated dining room.

Quick, yummy, inexpensive and fresh seafood. The perfect portion for lunch. Got the pastele fries and coconut shrimp and they were both excellent. Not a lot of seating here though, so be prepared to carry out, especially with larger groups.

Amazing food!

Fresh Catch is my go to for Sashimi and Poke everytime. Hands down fresh and flavorful. Their fried chicken is also amazing, Potato mac, Beef stew ... also nom nom nom. Basically, give everything a try, see what you like.

Wide variety of fresh seafood platter, good services, and tasty Hawaiian dishes. The Katsu Ahi plate was a family favorite while the Smokin' Hawaiian Sandwich and the Smoked Meat Fried rice was top notch with delicious sweet smoked meat. Although the prices were high, the food was very filling! We would highly recommend this to other people looking for a good place to eat Hawaiian seafood and dishes.

We ordered the poke and it was delicious! I didn’t know what I wanted, so I asked the worker to give me some of her favorites. SO GOOD! Janelle with Ohana Kayak Rentals recommended this to us and I’m so glad she did.

Ridiculously fresh seafood . Hole in the wall place do not miss it . Walk inside this blue building with people going through the drive through continuously. Literally fresh catch - poke bowl with any fish you want - you pay by weight - so worth it . Yummy. Great helpful ataff

Stopped in for lunch today and was incredibly impressed with the quality of fresh poke that was here. Everyone was super happy with their meal picks and the quality was very high. The fries were even very tasty and everything we ordered tasted so good. I would stop in again forsure.

Random stop for lunch and we're glad we did! Staff was friendly and service was quick. This specific location was a little dated, but nonetheless, space was cool from the heat, and very clean from register to floor, as well as having hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes at each table to clean our own table. Variety of poke was amazing! Wish we had more time to try them all, but our favorite was the smoked taki (octopus) poke - so delicious!!! Will have to visit again.

The Ahi Hawaiian Poke is one of the top poke I really enjoyed on the island. Very flavorful can't go wrong. Generous size chunks of fish. The Ahi Seared was fantastic with a well seasoned crust and the aioli gave it another level even though I could do without it. Very happy and satisfied. I'm definitely coming back!

I personally think that fresh catch poke is the best poke on the island and I've tried a lot of poke. The place also receive Guy Fieri's stamp of approval. I love the fact that there are also plate lunch options available if people don't feel like eating poke. The service is extremely fast, there are seating available in this branch and you can also get yourself a sweet treat at the end of your meal. It's a great meal to have when you're hungry on a hot day. You can also order a takeout plate and enjoy them by the beach.

If you want to try the freshest tuna, you must come here. As seen on DDD, and lives up to the hype! I enjoyed the seared tuna salad very much. The sauces offered were phenomenal as well! Was a great quick stop while exploring this side of the island.

Fresh Catch serves Hawaiian poke and does it right! They have so many flavors to choose from and you can’t go wrong with any of them, honestly the fish is so fresh and delicious, the tender pieces just fall apart in your mouth. Whether you order a poke bowl or fish by the pound everything gets charged by weight which I really appreciate (they don’t try to upsell a bowl to make money on rice and skip on fish). Flavor wise my top picks were shoyu and wasabi, if I had to skip one it might be the spicy mayo actually as it was a bit rich but still good. This location has lots of seating inside and its own parking lot so make sure to visit if you’re in the area. If not, it’s worth the trek out to the east side of the island.

Customer service was great. FYI this is a call ahead drive thru. You can order at the window but it's best if you call and order ahead. The garlic chicken is amazing!!

Delicious food packed with flavor and texture. Only dislike is that the 20 something old boy behind counter called me “uncle” out of respect. It reminded me that I’m getting old. 😛

Fast and delicious poke. Garlic salmon is great but requires more than 20 minutes wait. Otherwise great spot for a quick bite while hike/beach hopping.

I’ve gotta say that when I locked my eyes on this place, I knew it was going to be a great day lol. Anyways, I ate the Furikake Salmon. It was super yummy too. I wish I had more lettuce rather than rice, but I’m sure I could have asked for it that way, but I was new and didn’t know. Disclaimer- the doorbell on the side of the window looks like a drive through, but it’s not. It’s a walk up to pick up your food. I learned this on yesterday while trying to drive in front of the window. Most embarrassing moment (on that day) lol. Enjoy, it’s a great place to eat some really good seafood and I’m not a seafood gal so that says a lot. 😋

So my tastes run salty/savory so while I would definitely eat the shoyu salmon poke again if someone brought it to a party, I don't know if I'd buy it again. As much as I'm not a fan of very sweet things, the poke is only slightly sweet, so I'd eat it again, and if you have a sweet tooth, might want to try it. If nothing else, it's interesting and different from any other shoyu salmon poke I've ever tried. Other than this very slight caveat, I can easily recommend everything I've eaten here: smoked meat, beef stew, ahi belly, fried poke, pasteles, shoyu ahi, kitchen sink, smoked tako and ahi limu. The list would be longer, I'm just not out windward side often enough. But when I do, I usually grab something from here.

Really great poke! I am relatively ignorant when it comes to poke, so I had the staff choose for me. Loved it! Others in our group got the fish and chips. The fries are top notch.

I don’t understand how people eat this. We got 1 Ahi Sandwich Combo and 1 Ahi Stuffed Crab roll (Wednesday special) Both were fried and tasted of over cooked tuna from the can. Both served with a JAR each of gross mayonnaise. Because of covid we had to eat in our car and after two tries I nearly gagged. I had to walk across the street and order terrible Thai food but it was better than the crapito of this place. Holy Mayo and overcooked tasteless fish, Batman. Keep looking.

Best Poke on the island!

One of my favorite poke places on the island. The spicy Hawaiian is a must try. Their plate lunch selection is awesome too. Lots of great seafood dishes from pasta to katsu. The crab stuffed ahi roll is something special, but served on Wednesdays only!

Super salty stew luau special of the day !!! Choke green dye( must have spilled ) Ahi Katsu Was my go to Until they started cutting the ahi too thin now more breading than fish !!!

We have tried poke on 3 Hawaiian islands and this was our favorite. The owner was very friendly and patient with us and took the time to explain the different flavors. Super fresh and the sauces were incredible. I actually got the coconut shrimp which was on special and it was definitely cooked to order, great flavors. All around great experience and we’d come back if in the area in a heartbeat!
