Amazing Lobster thermidor. Full of flavour and succulent lobster meat. Cooked to perfection. A big plateful so have brought the rest home. Lovely attentive staff. Would very highly recommend. The best meal I have had in nearly 2 years living in the Gambia. Thank you

Celebrating New Years Eve at Sea Shells Bar & Restaurant in The Ghambia and by far the best dining experience of our month in West Africa 🇬🇭🇸🇳 🥂 Starters : Prawn and Crab - with a modern twist - Main - I had Seafood Platter - Ladyfish, Captain Fish, Butterfish and Shrimps served in a tomato cream sauce (superb) My partner enjoyed seared Ladyfish on a potato rosti with a red capsicum sauce - Maitre Di and Owner Fouzia ( originally from Morocco was charming and so friendly) From a western perspective a restaurant of this calibre is serious value for money and as a foodie ranks as one the finest of its kind anywhere ! Was recommended this restaurant by a guest staying at my hotel,in truth I have passed it every night for 9 nights and didn't notice it. So glad I found it as the food was excellent especially the Beef Wellington/Mushroom Sauce and the Fillet Steak with Pepper sauce both very tasty and tender. The service was very good and not overly attentive but very responsive. Price wise I would have paid twice the amount for the quality food and Service back home in uk..so well worth it.

We were surprised by this nice restaurant along the highway just south of the Senegambia strip. What a nice place. And most importantly they server delicious food. The perfect hideout if you want to taste some more Western style food made with the fresh local produce and fish. The don’t only serve fish though. One of us enjoyed the duck on the menu. So also meat-lovers are in the right hands here. If you are a wine enthusiast however, just don’t except a lot het in The Gambia. Also at this restaurant they promote their wine, but most of them were not available and what was available failed to attract us. Five stars for the food and atmosphere!

Great place to eat. We had the specials if the day. Pan fried duck breast and tiger prawns, followed by lemon tart with chantilly cream and walnut brownie with homemade custard which was polished off before I remembered to take a photo.

Probably my favorite restaurant in the area. Of the many times I’ve eaten here, the quality has always been present. The staff and owner are extremely friendly and alway here to guide you and make recommendations.

The welcome is very charming, polite & understated. Although roadworks are taking place, there are trees planted to give a better experience on the terrace, or there is inside dining if preferred. The menu makes it extremely difficult to choose, as everything on it looks delicious! We went for ladyfish dishes and were not disappointed. The presentation was worthy of any top European restaurant and the taste was superb. Delicate flavours & cooked to perfection. We spoke to the chef and the charming owner, who were both lovely-will most definitely return!

The food and serving was splendid. Lady ownee welcome us with a great smile. Fish and frutti do mare was superb also with a nice dresing. You should go there.

Wow ate here tonight and loved it. Food, service and ambience was superb and its so lovely that the owner comes out to chat to you. Wine list and cocktails also fantastic. Highly recommend Sea Shells.

What an incredible meal. Locally sourced Captain fish with Spinach, was absolutely beautiful, cooked by Charles the chef, it just melted in your mouth. Lovely ambience, well worth a visit.

Was a great experience. It's a little hard to find due to the lack of advertisement but it's right off the main road. The food was delicious and the service was great. Would not mind going here again.

Sea shell is the best restaurant the food is always nice and fresh no stomach paun after eating.. the boss is so friendly so careful..and the food is european quality i love to go there 🙏🏾❤️🥰

I visited Sea Shells on the 9/11/2022. The food was incredible, Service was Amazing. I shall definately be returning Great price and very well presented. Thank you Top marks for pan seared captain fish
