The tandoori is so sexy when it comes out on the hot frying pan or the grills. Oh God the Biryani 🔥. The food is absolutely fantastic and relatively inexpensive. They have a large private space which is good for birthdays and corporate meals. Can't wait to explore more meals from their menu.

Probably Gambia's best Indian now. Solid and consistent. A nice big bar with more bottles of spirits than you can imagine and draught beer available. A few big TV's dotted around the restaurant (which is either a good or bad thing) with always some kind of sport on; therefore a good place to go and wind down after work, have a drink and watch a game. Food (the Indian cuisine) is great, solid and consistent with management always very accommodating to your palette needs. Prices are now pushing towards the premium end of the Gambian market but you get what you pay for. Their grills are particularly good, meat and veg dishes alike. There are also private function rooms for bigger events/parties equipped with sound systems/karaoke machines for those boozy social moments. Try and make it down when one of the cricket games is on TV. The Indian community shows up, it gets loud, animated and a great atmosphere ensues. A good way to see a slice of community in Gambia.

Excellent. The food was amazing and we had a nice appetizer. The open atmosphere is calm and cool, and the service is amazing. The man there didn't know English and spoke Mandinka, a local language. But still was able to serve us with no issues. I ordered a local rice that I forgot the name of. It had onions and such. The food was delicious and we had many drinks to pick from. After we are they gave us wet towels to wipe our face. And we asked for water just before we left and they servedus no problem. 10/10 restaurant and would definitely go again.

Some mediocre reviews...we had great Indian meal. Lamb samosa,s to die for, and a meal on their own. I had shrimp soup starter( which was kickass) loved it, egg fried rice, chicken rogan josh, which was not on the menu, but friendly owner sorted. My wife had chicken tikka masala, again fantastic( and we have been to India 15 times) . My wife could not find a wine that floated her boat(fussy, had to be dry!) So the genial owner sent someone out to get one, and only charged us the shop price. Total bill was on a par with everwhere else in gambia, and the julbrew beer was cheaper than " the strip". Negatives? None really, except get a table by the large open front window, nice breeze, and you will be eating spicy food! Not good for people who are bad on their pins, as there are steep stairs to climb up to restaurant. Waitress lovelly,was a little shy and reserved until i cracked a joke or two, then she was mint.Will return without a doubt. Hope this helps.
