It's amazing to be here in the evening of a week day. Not much crowded. And one can enjoy the beauty of nature at its real sense. Its not possible to express in words or photos, but one has to experience by visiting here. The road conditions is good. But, in between narrow curves are present. So, drive slowly with honking.

This place have nothing to see much it's just backside view of dam but the route to get there will be liked by everyone through the forest and mountain.... And it's has bridge and water flow where u can enjoy really..

One of the must visit destination in Palakkad district. Good place to spend with family and friends anytime. Actually the Malampuzha dam reservoir part is known as Kava. When water level is lowered the green meadows will look awesome and the sky seemed kissing the water and green grass. Only negative is lack of shades and small vendors for food and water. Can easily enter any vehicle inside the area. Small waterfalls and forest parts are nearby. We can go through near the Garden gate or through inside Dam route.. forest route is preferred for amazing views.

The backside of the Malampuzha dam. The way the water from the hills are flown and gathered at the Reservoir. Between the forest and the trees you can see the water flowing through the canals to the dam. In small rains you can have nice time in the canals. Not advised in monsoon or heavy rains as the water flow would be too much.

Absolutely loved it! Its a very good place with less tourists lots of places to explore. There are some unexplored falls nearby, interacting with locals lead to more beautiful and takes us close to mother nature
