The bread sticks are delightful. There cheesy beef's are the (best) beast!! The Italian is truly delicious, I love the banana flavor! Ten out of ten as for food.

Truly the BEST pizza and breadsticks in town, BUT I would have given 5 stars IF we had not been rushed or pressured to get our order in after stating it was our first time there. This pizza reminds me of my hometown favorite, but exceeded my love for their pizza. I will be back, thank you for some good dinner.

I order thin pizza it is super hard extra crispy tasted terrible and called the place to make me another one or give me refund which they refuse. I even offer to drop them off this cardboard tasting pizza.

First ordering at this place , I’m a truck driver and had a 3 topping pizza delivered to my truck . Guy said I was in for a treat and he was not joking !!!! This is the real deal !!! I would not have changed one thing on how it was made !!!! Next time I am in the area they are getting the call !!!!!

Enjoyed the food so much, we ended up ordering more to go. The cheesy beef on garlic toast was two thumbs up and the Chicago dog was probably the best we've ever had. The service was great... especially the lady that took our order... just wish I got her name. Will be back to try the pizza soon.

I ordered a deep pan pizza. The dough wasn’t fully cooked. I called the restaurant. The manager told me they don’t replace pizzas or give refunds. That’s the first I ever heard that. Bad business, I wouldn’t recommend this pizza place to anyone.

I found about Johnny's pizza last year April 2022 whole working in close proximity and from then I've been smitten. Deep dish, thin crist, it's all sooo good. There's no other place like Jonny's. It's located in downtown Kankakee where inside and outside dine-in is an option. This place feels like a real pizzeria and you can select from single slice to a whole pie. Every morning the two gentlemen that works here (assuming they own the place) are preparing fresh dough and pizza. I've never came here and had day old pizza (I come @10 after my route to grab a slice). They are exceptionally pleasant and offer top customer service. Don't pass on this Small business with a big taste as you drive down south schuyler street, you won't be disappointed.

Update as of November 22nd 2023 . Stopped in after a very hard day's work . Ordered the new Detroit style pizza . Oh my goodness! This stuff hits a home run ! Definitely have to get a piece of this delicious new Johnny style pizza . However, there is still the matter of Personal Touch being given to the customer that is definitely lacking . Not sure why but one of the young men just eyeballing me the entire time I was there. The ladies who were serving and taking orders were extremely polite and professional . Sometimes it pays to just be a professional no matter what. Once again, I'm really glad they added this new pizza to their menu make sure to try it soon . You won't be disappointed! Just spoke with Josh. I ordered about $40 worth of food the tiramisu was frozen solid with ice crystals the pizza was good as it always is the breadsticks were not great but the worst thing was the salad Johnny's salad which is supposed to have red peppers there was half of one piece and it's supposed to come with meat chicken or turkey which they charge you $3 for if you order it with a salad there is none he says okay I'm sorry about that and then goes to hang up when I asked what they were going to do about it? Josh said what you want me to credit you for chicken on a salad? Yes Josh I want what I paid for what is so hard to understand about that? So maybe stay away from this place because they'll steal your money and not really care about stealing your money maybe that's just Josh's Department

Good pizza! Pizza by slice is good for work lunch or quick bites! Especially considering there's limited choices in Kankakee. Definitely go check it out.

The cheesy garlic bread was fabulous and in the top 3 that I've ever had.The pizza was also very good with crispy crust that don't fold over on you. The sauce was also delicious.the place is dated on the inside but most hidden gems are so that don't effect my rating of Johnnys.i highly recommend giving this place a try if your in the area.I was staying in town for work and I'm glad the hotel reccomend Johnny's.

Tried to place an order for Delivery. Didn’t even get to place my order, because whoever took my order wanted to be funny and act like they can’t spell. I said ‘Daisy’ and he asked me to spell it. First time he repeated it, he started it with a ‘B’ I had to repeat it six times and he said something different each time, finally I hung up. Sad bc I work at a hotel in town and tell everyone to go to yall I won’t be anymore.

Wow... we've lived in the area for almost 20 years, and just now found Johnny's. They have such great pizza! I'm not crazy about the pizza places by us (Beggars was good but too much cheese), but I really love their pizza. Our whole family does... even our family that is used to AMAZING Chicago pizza loved Johnny's pizza. And when we have them deliver, the pizza is always HOT and ready to eat 🍕! Check them out!!

FINALLY! I found a place that makes a decent Chicago Dog. Not an upscale Chicago Dog. Not their interpretation of a Chicago Dog. Vienna All Beef Hot Dog. Poppy seed bun. Yellow mustard. Chopped onion. Chicago relish. Tomato slices. Pickle wedge. Sport pepper. Pizza was good. Cheese fries. I found my new happy place in Kankakee!

The service was great 👍 The Pizza 🍕 🤮,Poor! No one really liked the Pizza. The crust was to hard. Not much sauce on the pizza, had much much better sausage than what was on the Pizza. The Cheese was good 👍. How 🤔 ever the person who took the order was very nice and the delivery driver assistance manager very polite. But not our kind of Pizza. But yes our kind of Service!!!🥲🤭

Ordered pizza 1 1/2 hrs later called to CK on del. They put owner on phone said would be last del to home one mile out to far after many yrs of del to home. 2 hrs later called back on del could not reach del person they said. 3 hrs later called back said would make new pizza would be 45 min at least del told them to forget it

We ordered the Johnny’s special salad and slab of ribs dinner. Both were awesome! Loved the garlic dressing and the size of the salad. Best ribs in town!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by the service and food. I enjoyed the food, in fact, the salad was too big to finish since I was going to eat pizza. The salad could have been a complete meal by itself. The pizza was really good, I just couldn't eat that much since I had salad first.

Took longer than was told to get the delivery. I asked and paid for extra sauce and it was not done. Sauce was not the best either. Pizza was cold when I got it as well. Will joy go back

ORDERED 2 chicken wings 6 each .not full wings just pieces. Cost was $ 24.67. Plus delivery tip. Excellent.however too expensive for the value and content.12 tips at $2.00 each Sorry you are driving business away

Johnny's Pizza is classic style pizza. Everything is home made here. They even serve ribs, Hotdogs, salad's, and more, Served hot. They even deliver, which is great. If you order delivery, Make sure you tip the drivers because they after all delivering your food. Johnny's Pizza is classic Italian pizza served the right way. Five star rating, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Walking around town I happened to pass this place around lunchtime. I'm glad I decided to take a look inside. Either they were not open yet or just had opened, the slice to go selection was very limited. There was a fresh veggie deep dish ready to be forced though. I got that. Really good crust. Nice topping proportions. Very satisfied.
