Sher Shah Suri ka Talab is a pond located in the city. Overall, my experience at this Talab was average, and I would rate it a 3-star experience. It is a artificial pond used to be built by Sher Shah Suri a turkish invader during reign of Humayun.. It was built so that through GT Road their troop can rest and their horses and elephants can have a bath. Upto few year back it's water was drained off and it converted into dirty pond. But with help of locals it changed into pond again adlnd there resides lakhs of fishes and numbers of duck as well as rabbits.. Now it looks very beautiful and at evening there is lot of crowd and people come gere to feed fishes and ducks...

It's an amazing place to spend some fun time with your family and friends. There are a hundreds of different species of fishes in the pond. You can even feed them. But that place could be maintained in a better way.

This is a historical place made by emperor sher shah suri a turkish invader during reign of Humayun. The pond is just 500m from Ramadevi , there is Shiv temple beside this as well. Nice place for a quick walk aside of pond water active fishes, ducks and rabbits are there as place ,children’s may enjoy. Still the main entrance is under construction, but the place is improved alot.

Best place for wandering. Beautiful Shivling is made inside the temple. It's one of the oldest talab which was build by Sher Shah Suri therefore name of the park is "Sher Shah Suri talab". Talab is too deep, lot of fishes and tortoise are there inside the talab. Rabbits and swan's are also there.must visit with your family.

His tomb is an example of Indo-Islamic architecture, it was designed by the architect Mir Muhammad Aliwal Khan and built between 1540 and 1545,[3] this red sandstone mausoleum (122 ft high), which stands in the middle of an artificial lake, which is nearly square, is known as the second Taj Mahal of India. The tomb stands at the centre of the lake on a square stone plinth with domed kiosks, chhatris at each of its corners, further there are stone banks and stepped moorings on all sides of the plinth, which is connected to the mainland through a wide stone bridge. The main tomb is built on octagonal plan, topped by a dome, 22-metre in span and surrounded ornamental domed kiosks which were once covered in coloured glazed tile work. The lake around the tomb is seen as a development in the Afghan phase of Sultan architecture by the Sur Dynasty.[4] The tomb was built during the lifetime of Sher Shah as well as the reign of his son Islam Shah. An inscription dates its completion to 16 August 1545, three months after the death of Sher Shah.[5]
