Best movie theatre in kanpur but handling customer service is really poor. Food is too costly. Staff is rude they are not polite at all. Infrastructure is good. Seats are okay. Sound Quality is awesome. Picture quality is average. Less sitting arrangement in waiting area.

The place is in the 3rd floor of south x mall Kanpur. Now it is not cinemax but PVR. The sound quality is very good and screen is also good here. Like other pvr multiplex this place is also comfortable as well.

South x mall at kidwai nagar kanpur is a quite old mall in south, a one place destination for Many movie lovers as PVR is here (though now Deep PVR is also an option). The better thing here is the spaces are bigger than any and the screen , sound and seating space all are top notch. The elevator issue is here but it's worth the wait. The parking is also enough as on the most crowded days there has never been any issue. The food options here are also good, you can find Domino's pizza restaurant at the ground floor of the mall. Now a classy liquor shop is also an addition to this mall which is well tested on quality. South x mall can work more on the elevator issue to make customer experience worthwhile, though the movie experience is great hence the 5 stars.

Very poor screen quality, right side of screen is bluish and fast action scenes looks odd due to slow frame rate. Sound is too high to be at comfortable level. Colour bleeding ruined my experience completely. Parking guys was too rude, should learn some manner.

Good theatre... Will prefer to buy tickets online... On counter tickets prices aree too high ... But It will include a pop corn packet as a gift to take home and ₹150 food court voucher but I will not prefer that. I ordered a pizza for ₹320 and it was raw and too bad just a base with very little amount of cheese.

The only good thing here is the picture quality. The person at the booking counter will book the tickets without telling you about any coupon or offer. You will pay the bill and then you will be told about the offer which they say is non-refundable. The food prices are like mountains and the food quality is like one of the tiny pieces of rock which makes the mountain. The pizza ehich they call as medium size is even smaller than the small size pizza which you can get at Domino's downstairs. Think before buying any eatables and be careful about every offer/voucher/coupon which you get there.

It could be good but don't know why they are keeping this mall so bad. It is worse than a normal provision store. Less toilets, less cleanliness, less options to eat, less options to shop. Space is pretty ok , it could have been managed better but don't know what's the issue with the place, always it's bit disappointing. I have never noticed any innovation in so many years here. It could be really beautiful and an elegant mall, but don't know what is the reason behind keeping it so shabby and weird. You cant find basic amenities like clean toilets and drinking water easily here.

The best experience for 2D only, I find screen very small and lack of colour quality in 3d movies...and plz turn on the AC in such a hot summer...miss those days I used to feel cold there in summers

NEVER EVER GO WATCH A 3D MOVIE HERE. THE BRIGHTNESS IS SET TO LOWEST. Even daytime scenes look like nighttime scene and 3D experience is literally 1/10. Also the DM Amit Dubey is very rude and abusive. He says the elevators not working are not his fault, and customer has to go fight the mall authority. Isn't PVR paying rent for the elevator to work? Is it customer's responsibility to make elevator work. My wheelchair bound father got no help at all. MALL HAS ZERO ACCESIBILITY. In case of emergency, God only knows how people will run out from here. Worst cinema in Kanpur. Even worse than single screen theaters.

Located in South of the City. Big Mall with Big Bazaar, Burger King, Domino's etc. They need to maintain better cleanliness in their food court. Rest experience was satisfactory. Did not checked cinema there. But I liked its location so it is of good usefulness for shopping, casual dining and recreation.

The staff is too casual and unfriendly.The recliners are pathetic. The music and sound system needs a major re look. Some blind spots exist. The light management is also not upto the mark. The number of advertisement before the start of movie and during interval need to be curbed. The system of having captive audience for advertisement is no good especially when we are paying for the movie. The influx of advertisements totally changes the time plan of movie. The movie should start exactly at the published time. The mall has a major lift congestion problem. Also the problem gets more aggravated in night shows if the escalators are stopped by mall. The movie hall management needs to talk it out with Mall authorities.

Really enjoyed the movie over there..most of the time i went PVR Deep but their seat's are uncomfortable.. But last time went to PVR at Southx there seat's are so comfortable.. So insted of PVR Deep I will recommend to PVR at Southx...

This is a Good place but i think in the sound surround system the middle speakers volume is low i don't know why but the feel, i choose the middle seat to watch movies in pvr that's why I know this thank you

Very bad experience. I had gone to see OMG 2 being showcased in screen 1. Here i found recliner seats to be in bad shape with foul smell present and no cushion /foam left in seats. Even some screw was coming out from the wooden frame which could have easily injured my leg. Common PVR its high time to have a quality check on PVR South X Kanpur, and if not possible to control the quality then kindly reduce ticket prices to that of a local non branded theater ticket prices, as we pay to PVR for a movie ticket and not on the name of south x mall kanpur, ultimately it is the image of PVR which is a brand present through out the country and i as a customer expect some kind of uniformity in services.

I took ticket from tickets counter, i was requesting for prime tickets but she gave me premier knowingly and extra chrged for this and given some packets i didn't know why, in movie hall when opened the packets i was totally frustrated to saw unroasted corn. so guys don't buy off line tickets only prefer on line.
