It's shouldn't be called a bus station its just a ground made by dumping mud on a old lake and ta-da! That's what it looks like no proper hygenic facilities, neither traveller are that kind of hygenic, of the city. For now. But things are changing, hopefully it will be developed soon as construction is going on and people are also changing, they want clean areas and hygenic foods and they also keeping area clean.

Nice bus stop, as usual and common for Uttar Pradesh public as they are used to such bus stations, for other states it could be a good option for changing or taking AC as well as other buses for their respective routes, could stay there for few hours much space but not very suitable for families. Yes you will get your options and no need to stay more than required.

My experience was pathetic. There was no proper sitting arrangements, no cleanliness. No one was giving proper information regarding buses.

Do not go here for Delhi buses. They have buses for Delhi but it takes almost 12 hrs. Their helpline numbers never work.

Unhygienic as compare to Lucknow. Kanpur nagar nigam should work on it. The bad smells near the bus stand roads was not familiar.

Jhakkarkatti.... The Bus station probably largest in Kanpur ...Buses ply for every direction from here..Overall avoid travelling by Buses to an extent in UP in General and Kanpur in particular.

It's a good Dhaba for Samosa, Tea, etc👌.I and My whole family likes samosa of this dhaba.

It's a big place and not well structured. You can find the buses of Delhi / Agra / Lucknow/ Allahabad every 10 minutes.

Except for a few drivers, most of the people help at the bus stand, where to get the bus and where to go, but there is some problem at night.

Due to metro construction traffic hindrance was there ..but still kanpur bus staff manage it in very good way...

Its more like a fish market, u can only find garbage everywhere not proper lighting in nights, nothing like a bus stop

Kanpur is a popular city of up and I lives in churu(Rajasthan)...may be very few people know about churu and also it is not as big as kanpur but still here's roadway bus stand is much better then kanpur....🤷‍♀️

It is still in construction phase . If you are travelling to Lucknow , then you could get bus from outside the bus station itself.( Kisi se puchne pe yahi bolenge ki bahar chale jao bahar se mil jayega), If you are travelling to rest destination , then the buses will be there.
