Great food and great service. Ate here for Sunday brunch about a week before Christmas. Cool rooftop holiday area.

We had a great first experience at Our House! Our bartender, David, took great care of us and helped us choose our lunch orders. I had the smoked chicken salad sandwich and really enjoyed it! The smoke added a nice extra layer of flavor and the toasted bread was dressed perfectly with lettuce, tomato, and red onion. My wife had the burnt end French dip and it was phenomenal! I'm very fortunate she was willing to share and will definitely order this the next time I am here. Looking forward to checking out their coffee, Jacob's bakery offerings, and the rooftop patio.

My husband and I visited Our House KC today. Upon first entering the atmosphere was good. Olaf greeted us as we came in and we ordered Tatchos and QuesoBirria Tacos 🌮. I didn't like that we were required to leave a card to begin a tab but since it was our first time there we cooperated. The Totchos arrived first and it was a huge portion. They were good but not as hot as I was expecting them to be when the plate was delivered. Our QuesoBirria Tacos arrived second and were absolutely AMAZING - my sincerest compliments to the chef. The beans that came with them were very flavorful and the consume had a smoky flavor to it and consistency that can't be beat. They were cooked to absolute perfection. We sat and sat and sat waiting for our check and "To Go" items to pack up our left overs. Olaf assisted everyone else and didn't come back to check on us or send anyone over. When my husband finally saw him he asked for him to come to the table and he says "What do you need?" My husband said " We need you to come over to the table please." He then proceeded to ask what we wanted and sent us to get "To Go" containers ourselves. Joe from the back happened to walk out and was very kind and helpful. I really appreciate him. They seemed to be understaffed and I hope they adequately staff so the customers can be better assisted. The food was awesome. Everyone but Joe and the chef needs to step it up on the customer service side, but I can say the value for the money was good. I'd definitely go back for the QuesoBirria because they're some of the best in town but it'd definitely be for carry out only. The dining in experience left something to be desired. Update 2/1/24: Contacted this business to order the QuesoBirria Tacos for carry out. Brian answered my call. Upon me beginning to place my carry out order he says "Nope. We serv'em on Tuesdays." When I clarified with him they only offer the Tacos on Tuesday he said "Yup!" I found his tone and approach very off putting and rude really. The food here is awesome the customer service definitely needs some serious work.

First time visiting. The house is very engaging in attentive. Made several recommendations. Could answer almost all our food sensitivity concerns. The wife had the burnt in skillet and I had their chili. Burnt ends are very tender and tasty. The chili had an amazing flavor to it but definitely benefited from the extra heat from adding some H sauce. I want to come back and try there French onion soup

First visit and both meals delicious. BBQ sandwich as good as the more famous place nearby (KC Joes). I had Herbivore Quinoa Bowl, a vegan choice, and so good I asked our server what the dressing was. Answer: lemon dill plus red wine vinegar. The combo on the quinoa and veggie mix was unusual and very tasty.

Great first time experience here Bartender was very helpful and good energy Brisket pot pie was delicious along with the turkey club sandwich. Great bloody Mary's, I plan on coming back 👍

Absolutely incredible little place. Guy at the counter was super helpful (order and pay at front, food is delivered to table). You get a fun little poster thing thats on a stand of a music icon for identifying where they should deliver the food. Tons of seating; roof top patio, basement, and ground level seating. We sat on the rooftop and it was very well laid out and pretty. Onto the food. I had the BELT or BLT with fried egg. I love BLTS and the egg was the perfect touch for the sandwich. I had it for lunch, but I think it would be a great breakfast option. Fries were crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside (my perfect match). The other staff was quick although it wasn’t really that busy. Will definitely be returning soon when in the area. Thanks, staff!

Robust delicious menu, friendly staff, great indie vibe that goes beyond a typical burger joint. I enjoyed a solid classic burger, perfectly cooked tater tots, a cozy bowl of broccoli cheddar soup, an indulgent chocolate chip cookie, and a just-right (mild, not too sweet) cinnamon bun latte. Good portion sizes (I ate it all but should have grabbed a to-go box, ha!). Service at the counter for placing orders was super helpful, good table service, and a happy and speedy barista. OurHouseKC has 3 different spaces for whatever vibe you're after: the main bar and dining area, a side dining room, and a cafe for coffee and treats. Our group of 6 dined for a weekday lunch during KC Restaurant Week, and I suspect the winter weather resulted in us having the place practically to ourselves — although friends said later that the dinner crowd was jam-packed. I look forward to coming back, especially for lunch and brunch!

Food was great! Server Olaf was just average. He stated that they were understaffed. Be prepared to get your own water, silverware and napkins and seat yourself. Not sure if it is normally like this. We had to wait a long time for Olaf to assist us when needed. I would consider going back to see if the customer service is better. Food was good but might be better as a takeout option.

This place is amazing. My friends and I came here while visiting KC. There were 6 of us on a Sunday and there were plenty of seats available. Extremely fast and friendly service. I got the Briskets and Gravy and it was delicious. Their coffee is amazing too. Really can't say enough good things about this place. 6stars out of 5 in my book.

UNREAL!! We had the meat and potatoes skillet, burnt ends French dip, a caramel pecan sticky bun, and coffees. Stupid. Insane. IMPOSSIBLY GOOD!! The music is great, the staff are friendly, the coffee is really fresh and delicious... even the bathrooms are great haha! But the real kicker was thee French dip. The meat was SO TENDER. Really glad for the experience, and will definitely be back soon!

First visit. My wife had the Burnt-end French dip with house chips and I had the Cuban with fries. Boulevard Wheat and ice tea. The food was hot and tasty. The drinks were cold and refreshing. Everyone was friendly and atmosphere was casual and clean.

This place is amazing we love it here, it never disappoints 👏😍!! The ambiguous is perfect and they also have live music. The French toast was delicious, The side of breakfast potatoes with hot sauce was also yummy but the cinnamon roll was the yummiest.

Love this venue. We have come here often now, and the variety of delicious food is incredible. I am always surprised at how wonderful this place is. They also provide local musicians a chance to play here and that in itself is awesome !! 🙂💖

We went here for a business meeting today. It was a very cozy place. Grav a menu on the way in and order at the counter when your ready. I tried a local IPA beer that was on tap, and shared a BBQ platter with my wife. Tye platter had brisket, pulled pork, tater tots, Italian sausage, pickles, caramelized onions, and some brioche toast. The house bbq sauce was also very good.

Run (do not walk) to Our House KC! You will not regret it! I was VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED by just how juicy and flavorful their Patty Melt was! I am going to come back tomorrow morning just so I can put some "H Sauce" on my eggs! Apparently it's made by the owner's neighbor (how cool is that?!) and it's the bomb! 💣

The service was great and everyone was very friendly. They were clear it was a casual dining experience, provided helpful information about the restaurant, and offered recommendations. We ordered the totchos and triple wide as an appetizer. Both were tasty, and the sauces tasted homemade. The house chips were thicker than I've had before and gave it a nice crunch. My husband and I ordered the smoked turkey sandwich with Mac and cheese and the smoked chicken pot pie. The pot pie had a flaky light texture to the crust and the smoked chicken was moist. The smoked turkey was probably the best we've had in KC (they smoke all their meats in-house). The Mac and cheese was good, but lacked some flavor. I did have to add salt and pepper and a little bit of hot sauce. If additional seasonings were added to the roux this dish would be spot on. We had the affagoto and butter cake for dessert. The espresso was made fresh and the butter cake was warm and comforting. Overall a pleasant dining experience for us all! The ambiance and decorations were also top notch.

Bier & Breakfast. Bob Marley. Service was TOPS! If only I was local to try all the Amazing sounding dishes. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in town.

We had Sunday brunch at OH-KC —1st time there. What a great place!! We enjoyed our meal on the roof, with live acoustic entertainment. The staff is topnotch—the management has trained them well! And the food was excellent. Our table had biscuits and gravy, brisket and gravy, and burnt end skillet—all were great choices. ( Those are the best biscuits, just like homemade!)What a fun, hopping place and loved the personal touch of the owners’ family mural on the wall! We will be back. Don’t miss Our House-KC!

What a wonderful brunch! Here on a Sunday, this place supplies ample bottomless, albeit a bit pricy, and amazing food. Such a great experience! To top off the day, we were pleasently surprised with live music with our food. It was so hard deciding what to eat! I will be back to try more.

Just had brunch/lunch here with my mom and brother for the first time, and we all agreed that this will be our new spot! Huge menu with a ton to offer, and the staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. :) we had a blueberry pancake and fries for the table, I had the spinach and strawberry salad and the smoked chicken salad sandwich- add bacon. My mom had the carnitas egg bowl and my brother had a cheesesteak that was gone in seconds.

Stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday. Several table were occupied but not overly crowded at all. The service/staff were good. We got our food pretty quickly and it was served hot, fresh, and as ordered. The burnt ends were very good. The place appeared well kept and very clean. We will visit again when in this part of town.

Really good! Had the brisket and gravy at brunch! The pineapple margarita was fabulous!! Had 3 of them!! The Irish coffee was very good too! I'll go back!!

We had the best experience at Our House KC. We ordered the Bob’s burnt end french dip and the loaded fries. Everything was sooo good! Service was excellent. This will now be a regular dinner spot for us.

We happened upon this place by accident. We weren’t disappointed. Food was good, service was good. They had live music. One criticism is my wife’s salad had more feta than lettuce.

They went above and beyond for us to make our reservations on the rooftop perfect! The food was also phenomenal. If you’re wanting smoked meat cooked to perfection, this is your place. We enjoyed everything about our experience.
