I am a bit late in posting this review, my apologies. We celebrated a friend's birthday here. As the birthday girl was a vegetarian, our server got one of the chef's to come chat with her to ensure she had something she enjoyed outside of the menu on her special day. As a group we appreciated this gesture by our server to take the initiative to request a chef's help in preparing something special to suit the vegetarian pallet. The ambience here is unique, cozy and amazing for couples or groups. The service was fantastic and the food surely was delicious. Highly recommend this place if you visit Kansas City. Recommend having a reservation as they are quite busy for obvious reasons. Thanks for making our friend's birthday special. And we look forward to visiting you again when we are in the Kansas City area. Prime Social was one of our favorites places visit during our stay; fabulous ambience, great food, warm hospitality and fantastic service!

Nice upscale bar with lounge seating as well as tables and chairs. The outdoor patio isn’t very large but would be the desired spot on a nice evening. Great views of downtown KC and the place has a nice vibe. Service was excellent and the food was extremely good. It’s small plates made for sharing. The cocktails are top notch. It’s a little pricey but out of line for an upscale place.

Located on the rooftop of Ocean Prime, this charming bar serves high end cocktails, appetizers style foods and sushi rolls. The Smokey Old Fashion was memorable, shout out to the mixologist. The buzz button that comes with the Strawberry Fields drink is interesting and fun, one of the very reasons for my visit. The staff was terrific. The hosts on the ground floor hyped me up with some good conversation about the city. The atmosphere was laid back but buzzing with with energy. The food was phenomenal, especially the spinach and artichoke dip! I will absolutely return here every time I come to Kansas City.

Visited this upscale bar a few times with friends. Every time was an amazing experience. There is a prime lunch, 3 course meal, on weekdays for $35. Highly recommend trying the prime lunch deal. The food is amazing and tasty. The atmosphere of the bar is amazing. The indoor decorations and lighting is great. You’ll also get an amazing view of the KC from the top roof.

However, the dusty, fake vines overhanging the main bar area need to be removed. Quite tacky.

Excellent eats meant for sharing. The drinks are always top notch. The views of the city are amazing from the roof top! An absolute KC speak easy treasure. Our experience tonight was superb thanks to Dut, our server. Travis the GM definitely made us feel like family and made sure our evening went perfect. Tonight’s favorites were the smoked margarita shots and the Smoked old fashion!

It was such a great experience tonight. From the hostess, our seats to our server Joey, it was amazing! We were celebrating the 2 year anniversary of my Mom's passing because the Plaza was her home for many years. We knew she would love Prime Social. Every time I have been, they do not disappoint! Best view IMO in all of KC!

I went to Prime Social on my birthday and had such a phenomenal time. The waitress was very sweet and always made sure to check in on us. You have a great view of the KC Plaza as well as the KC downtown skyline. You can't go wrong with any drink option! Highly recommend Prime Social if you are wanting a fancy night out on the town!

Really enjoyed my evening here! The food was delicious and in small enough portions you could try a lot of different things, which was good because they had a nice variety of food. Pizza and sliders were favorites for sure! Fun drinks especially the strawberry fields with the buzz button! It was a little busy and took awhile for our order but the entire staff were really great! Not too much outdoor seating as far as I could tell but the indoor seating was really nice and comfortable with great views!

I had always been interested in going to Prime Social... and it exceeded my expectations! We were seated at a lounge area near the windows looking out at the Plaza and it was STUNNING! The decor in the restaurant is lovely, too. The subtle Christmas decorations were fun but not overwhelming. Our server, Kyle, was so kind and helpful. The drinks were as delicious as they were pretty! We had four different cocktails and I would get each again. For food we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip (the crostini were perfect, too), the margherita pizza (YUM), the Triple Threat sushi roll (AMAZING), and the Mojo Shrimp skewer (SO TASTY). I would call it an "experience" and I can't wait to have this experience again. Wonderful place.

The service, food, and drinks were great at Prime Social. We stopped here for appetizers and drinks before dinner. We tried the sliders and oysters as it was a Monday night special for oysters. They offer 4 varieties of oysters an all were delicious! They sliders were tasty and filling. I would definitely visit again.

This place was absolutely amazing! From being greeted to the ambiance and then the food! It was all so delicious. The seating and the view were amazing and so was the most customer service. Luna is the best and is very attentive!! Recommend this place to everyone. You must must reserve in advance, it's always full but the wait is worth it! :)

Great atmosphere and views of KC. Definitely recommend the Sushi ... it was great tasting and flavourful. Pizza was pretty bad and would not recommend. If you are looking to hang out and have apps/drink this place is perfect. Not really for families, more date night ready. We'll certainly go back.

Located inside, apparently ocean prime…? We found it going inside this large building. The hostess plugged in the elevator and up we went! No waiting here on a Tuesday night. Small plates mainly. Pizza and limited sushi available. The cocktails were very nice. Service was wonderful. The outdoor little patio is pretty small, but it was nice being under the open sky and having the fire for ambiance. The football game RIGHT next to me maybe took it down a notch Only real complaint was, the chips and dip was INCREDIBLY salty. Like inedible

Our server Hannah was the best! She had such great recommendations and took the time to guide us through everything since we had never been. We’ll definitely be back!

Do yourself a favor and make a reservation at Prime Social soon. The prices are definitely on the upper end but the food and drinks are excellent. For us, the prices are a bit too high to make this a weekly/monthly visit but we will definitely be back. Upon arrival in the building lobby, the host/hostess escorts you to an express elevator to the roof (no buttons needed). We were a group of 4 and ate the following with EVERY dish being superb ---Triple Threat Sushi Roll, A5 Wagyu Stix, Mojo Shrimp Stix, Lobster Tail Stix, Yardbird (Ginger Chicken Meatballs), Prime Sliders, and Truffle Fries. The drinks were a bit expensive but inventive and great tasting. As good as the food and beverages were, the ambience and view were the underlying star of the show. The view is fantastic, exciting yet soothing. Try to be there for sunset and you'll get the full package. We're planning to visit again during the winter holiday season to enjoy the Plaza lights....maybe more than once.
