Behind the bar hides a large humidor room with an extensive cigar selection, and a aficionado right there to guide you to your perfect selection. BYOB and chill to some live jazz while you enjoy your perfect cigar. Really, if you dig cigar bars, The Shop takes the cake in KC!

This place opened up 4 months ago and it's Kansas City, Kansas' first cigar lounge. It's located in the historic Strawberry Hill area. To clarify, this is on the Kansas side of Kansas City, not on the Missouri side. Super nice and we'll done on the decor. Lovely comfy lounge seating to sit back and smoke cigars. This is a BYOB lounge.

Really cool place. Very laid back. All the chairs are giant cushy leather and easy to sink into. Their humidors has a nice selection of cigars and Dave saved me from myself when I picked out a few (thank you). Ventilation and air purifiers work really well so your not sitting in a cloud the whole time. GREAT PLACE! ENJOY!

Just took the Cigar smoking 101 class. It was a wonderful experience. I absolutely loved the relaxed, urban rustic ambiance with the classic leather wingback chairs. It is a place to relax like a proper gentleman or lady. It allows you to enjoy the finer things without a pretentious touch. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and there was no question "too stupid". I even got to lose a game of pool while I was there! Please treat yourself and check out this establishment! 10outta10 would recommend!

I have been hearing the buzz about this new cigar lounge for a couple months, and was blown away when I went to the Grand Opening early March. I'll be spending a lot of time there for sure.

Sometimes the unplanned, spur of the moment decisions are the best. My friends and I stumbled upon this after a Saturday lunch out while visiting KC for the weekend. It was all we were looking for and more. We enjoyed the cigar selection and the casual, comfortable, yet sophisticated atmosphere. What was intended to be a 40 min stop was a 3+ hour visit we all 3 enjoyed. Byob, but the bar next door was able to accommodate us. Perfect spot for a rainy afternoon. Excellent service. I will definitely make it a point to come back when in the area again.
