We found Quaff Bar & Grill quite by accident during a trip to Kansas City. Quaff Bar & Grill is a great restaurant, excellent service with great drinks and food. They have regular specials, our visit was on a Wednesday night, and it was the weekly Steak Night. Meal prepared and served perfectly! Quaff Bar & Grill has a wonderful, fully stocked bar and they can make nearly anything you'd like to drink! Do yourself a favor and give them a try! This place was so much fun and they serve food until 1:30am! Great staff, nice atmosphere if you want something kind of divey but not grungy. Food was perfect for late night drunken eats. Definitely recommend going here if it's late and you're hungry!

This is the Cleveland Browns Backer Bar for KC, the Ohio State Backer Bar is at Tanner’s. Nice hole in the wall vibes. We ordered the pizza and a basket of fries which were good. The staff is super friendly.

We were sent here by a friend and loved it. Great atmosphere. If the walls could talk... Good food with decent prices. Pool tables and lots of tv's for sports. Can't wait to go back and try the pizza and shoot some pool. May 31st, 2022 Came in for lunch around 1pm. Was open and had a decent crowd. We were hungry so quickly ordered apps and entrees and it was out FAST. Food was great and our waitress was awesome as usual.

Picture an old school dive bar that has been here for years. Limited beer selection but liquor to go makes up for it. Keep your expectations low and you will love it.

Great bar to get a get or tasty meal downtown Kansas City. It’s well known in the area for a reason! If you are craving a burger, order the Q-Burger because it is stacked with black garlic, sautéed shallots and onions, cheese and the rest of the fixings! Play billiards, shoot some hoops, watch the game, or play trivia on their trivia nights.

Waiter was so geeked that I put the wax paper my wings and fries were on into togo box to keep from making a mess. I laughed he watched me the whole time. Pretty cool outing with my daughter father.

Came out for some drinks and got some food. Typical bar scene - live music, a few areas, pool table. Drinks started off light, then got stiffer. We also ordered the Quafft? Chicken waffles. Pretty solid! Would come again!

If you’re looking for a great local bar with great food and top notch service….. It’s the Quaff. The staff and regular patrons are terrific people that genuinely care about providing everyone with great food, cold drinks and amazing service. Wednesday steak night is a perfect time to get a delicious meal for a very fair price! This is a local favorite watering hole! It’s not fancy it’s not a franchise type establishment … But it’s a fun atmosphere, super friendly staff and lots of TVs to catch The Game. Last I really love how the staff remembers your name and the details that make you feel special! It’s a neighborhood bar within a diverse community and everyone is welcome! Even more… they give back to the community consistently making a difference whenever they can.

Nice place. Looks like a bar that has regulars. Bartender was very friendly. Drinks were on point. Didnt eat so i dont have a review on there food. Nice place to gather with friends. Plenty of space. From a person thats visiting from out of town. . I didnt feel out of place.

Great staff! The bartenders and service staff are so friendly and awesome. Everyone there is a friend. The food is quite great for being a bar. Wings are delicious and pizza is really good. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu. A great local establishment that has been in KC for years!

GREAT $5 Margarita on Monday night, great cobb salad and loaded taters appetizer. Waitress was a little confused (twice) about putting blue cheese crumbles on the side and not giving blue cheese dressing on the side..😆

Cool bar/pub. Food was actually really good. Service was good also. Place just needs a little update. Still a good place check out.

The customer was very friendly and attentive. It had a good atmosphere and lots of food selection. We just went there for the drinks, but we had a really good time watching the Royals play the Yankees. The Dunkel is a MUST when you are in KC!! I'm obsessed with this local treat. It was our first time there, but hopefully not the last!

Came here while visiting Kansas City, and was immediately welcomed with a rude lady at the front - but the server was so sweet. The food was like a 5/5 because it did come out hot! The pizza was build your own, and super good. But the bathroom was filthy, still wasn’t too bad.

I used to absolutely LOVE this place. Sadly, I just walked out completely. Service, atmosphere and experience has completely tanked the past two years. Our server was so “speedy” she forgot to take our orders… I hate leaving these, hopefully they turn it around. The whiskey selection is amazing.

Food is so bad. Ain’t no way they make that Velveeta queso. The pizza is garbage. Could easily do better. Service was the worst. Two bartenders, they just choose not to. Two customers, two bartenders. One stocking, one on her phone. No checking on beer or that I said I was starving when I got a menu. Bartenders are old and complacent. Get rid of them to save the business. The atmosphere is what normally brings me back, but Johnny’s had such a better one tonight. The music, the packed house. I won’t be back to the Quaff after…18 years? Those bartenders on Chiefs Packers night really turned me off. They were bad on Chiefs Eagles night, but Rachel took care of us at a table. She’s good. I just can’t see going back, ever.

They didn't charge us the $5 cover, which was nice. We got waited on within 5 minutes. Our waitress was kind enough to give us time to order between tables and it was really easy to get her attention. We each had three Tito's and Sprites, the first one tasted mostly like Sprite, but they gradually got stronger with each drink. We ended up getting the Chicken Quaffles, which had a great balance of sweet and savory. The food came quickly as well as each drink. The bathrooms were fairly clean for a bar as well. Overall I think the service was great, but the atmosphere was expected for a local bar. The food is also decently priced for the value. All in all I would come here again, but I feel no rush to hurry back. It's a decent bar with decent drinks and food.
