Pizza is good, and we try a little bit of everything to mix it up! The menu is vast and plentiful! Pizza, salads, appetizers, happy hour specials, and quite the variety of beverages! Service has been much better even with the high frequent overturn in management, until now!!! Chris, the new manager has taken charge and has an impeccable personality! After 10 pm on the weekends, it tends to get CROWDED! All the waitresses are friendly and attentive! It's worth the visit and you'll have extra food to take home! 😋 🥙🍕

Horrible service, bad food. Out of a lot of wine and beer. Very dirty, tables weren’t clean and menus were crusted with food. The bartenders and servers kept disappearing for long periods. Beverages never refilled. The list goes on and on. Take the extra time to go to N. Kansas City.

I never leave reviews bad or good but this day when I ordered food for pickup I was feeling sick and knew k needed to eat. This was the worse ever it was like eating charcoal. I can’t believe you spend almost $16 and this is what they serve you. I forced myself to eat what I could to try to feel better, but this was very upsetting…

I’ve been here 3 times in the past couple months, each time the service has gotten worse. Tonight we we’re quoted a 30 minute wait which then we were told had changed to 45 after being there for about 10 minutes. We decided to stay but the host said we could sit at the bar and wait since it is so hot and we did. After sitting there for an hour, which was past our 45 minute quoted time, I asked the bartender if she knew when we would be seated. By this time there were 3 tables in the whole restaurant with people and about 10 that had been left and were dirty. It didn't seem like there were a lack of servers, I counted 4 or 5. We finally were told to sit wherever and ordered. All the servers by this point were sitting at a table in the back corner in their phones. Some were eating so they may have been on break but while we were eating our app and food no one came to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything. When it came time to pay we were overcharged by $5 from the price on the menu and it took 3 members of their staff to fix it. A quick bite turned into almost 2.5 hours of poor service. 3 strikes your out I guess because I won’t be back.

I have good days and bad days when ordering from here. But when it’s becoming a 50/50 chance my order is going to be correct, especially with the prices of their pizzas, I become more and more hesitant on returning for business. What I ordered: Thick crust pizza: Extra sauce, garlic, mozzarella, basil, sliced tomato, and topped with balsamic glaze. What I received when my partner arrived home with the pizza, opening the box: Thick Crust: Hardly any sauce, garlic, mozzarella, sliced tomatoes AND diced tomatoes, small amount of basil, and NO balsamic glaze. So pretty much a cheese pizza with tomatoes. Super disappointed. My husband is a police officer and after working his shift, with no time to eat, this was supposed to be his dinner. (Not that anyone should have to give a reason as to why their order being correct should matter) Not sure if I can convince him to return after repetitive incorrect orders.

We have been regulars for a long time, and love sitting at the bar. We were so disappointed to learn that our favorite bartender/manager had been let go. Nicole was an amazing asset to the company- truly got to know her customers. She also checked the food as it came out and would send it back if it wasn't up to standards, or go back and fix it herself. This is not the first time an employee that we have loved has either quit or been let go. Starting to question our loyalty to this place.

Nicole was the best bartender ever! Very friendly and knows her stuff. Always was smiling and never seemed frustrated. I will be back and will be asking for Nicole. Clean store and bathroom smelt good. If you come in a eat or drink ask for Nicole to serve and bartend for you! The sweetest woman.

We usually come here once or twice a week. Usually great food and service. Today did a carry out order and got a cheese burger ( med rare ) and a small pizza. The pizza was fine no complaints there, but the burger 0/10. I ordered just a standard medium rare cheeseburger and fries. The burger I received was very well done and almost jerky like texture and could only eat a few bites before calling it quits. Kind of a bummer , I will stick to ordering just the pizza.

This past Sunday we went to go eat here and the waitress that waited on us was OK but we never saw her out of the times we absolutely had to (ordering, bringing our food, etc.). Never checked on us to see if we needed anything outside of times she would have to come to our table. It wasn't busy and she wasn't rushed. I understand those times but this wasn't one of those times. We usually tip 20% but decided to only tip 15% this time. However, the waitress decided to still tip herself to 20%. What we wrote on the receipt is not what came out of our bank account. I difference is minimal but that isn't the point. I'm assuming she didn't think we would notice the difference but we did. Instead of posting on here, I tried calling the manager today but they weren't available. I left a message and never heard back. I tried submitting something through the corporate website but when I hit submit it said the website was down. Outside of directly calling the location itself there is no other contact # I can find for corporate. I was going to wait until tomorrow just in case the manager was busy but I also see someone responded on here to another review 2 hours ago so that doesn't appear to be the case. Super frustrating. Giving 2 stars as the food itself was good.

Ordered a medium well burger and the outside was black while the center was still cold and very much rare. The pizza was decent but the individual size thin crust was more like an appetizer for my teenage son. Definitely not a meal portion. The server was very sweet though.

The appetizer and entree presentation was excellent! The Italian Nachos, Buffalo Wings (w/ their house bleu cheese), and pizza rolls are really good. The calzone was tasty, but was mostly dough, and not filled with many ingredients - which was a little disappointing. Overall, we a had a really great dinner though. Thank you!

Went in on a Wednesday early afternoon. several employees sitting around table I the corner, we were one of only 2 or 3 customers in restaurant. Ordered pizzas noticed floor needed swept and mopped really bad. Also we use the parmesan cheese but all the shakers we could see were empty. No big deal we asked for some and got it. The problem came when my pizza came it was missing the onions. Well they took it back and said they would remake it. Less than 5 minutes later it came out with a bunch of burnt onions sprinkled on top. Obviously the cooked onions and threw then on top. We really like the pizza at old Chicago when it is done correctly. We also tip 25 percent or more with good service and food. The worst thing about the pizza that was presented to me was the attitude behind it. It tells me that whoever cooked it and the waitress who delivered it thought it was good enough to serve. Imagine purple onions cooked in pizza oven , burnt on the ends ,piled on top of a pizza, it looked like purple and black hairs sticking out everywhere. Maybe we try another location other than liberty but not for a while.

We are locals who come here about once or twice a month. Is 15 minutes too long to wait for anyone to swing by and acknowledge you are here? There were a total of 12 people (including 3 staff and the 2 of us) in the entire restaurant. We usually have a decent dining experience here, not today.

Staff was really great. Pizza was good. Ladies restroom needed a thorough cleaning and we were there early in the day about lunch time. Not too crowded either. But the sports bar feel was still there. Felt a bit pricey for pizza but we did have enough leftovers for dinner.

If you want good food don’t go here, they have terrible service and the pizza is comparable to a frozen pizza. Even dominos is better. Overpriced and not worth the time. We went on a Friday night, barely anyone was in the restaurant and it still took 15-20min just to get a server to take our order and then another 30 just to get an appetizer and another 15-20 for some sauce. Literally no one in the place. I repeat, don’t waste your time and eat almost anywhere else.

My husband and I were feeling pizza one night 2 months ago. The pizza we picked up was completely cold, there were very few toppings and the crust was tasteless. We had eaten at this Old Chicago several years ago and it was great. I don't know if they have changed their ingredients or if it's the cooks they hire. But please do better, your cost is too high for this type of service.

When I ordered a salad I asked if the chicken would be heated/hot (because I'm expecting) and the waitress said yes. Our food comes out and the chicken was cold. The waitress had them heat some chicken up for me while I picked off the shredded bits that were mixed into the salad. What the kitchen sent out was overcooked crispy shredded chicken pieces. We mentioned this to the waitress and she had them make a new salad with grilled chicken. It took 40 more minutes...after 30 min we were told what was going on and the waitress made the salad to go and gave us our check. The check had on their an extra side if chicken and when we went to say something (because at this point we had been there for 2 hrs and needed to leave for my husband's night shift), we were spoken to disrespectfully(told we needed to get out of their way, that they couldn't talk to us) by two waitresses and told to go sit back down. Our waitress got upset and walked away from me when I was trying to explain why I needed the chicken cooked. Eventually the manager caved and took the salad off the bill, which the waitress said she had been asking her to do for over 20 min. Needless to say, we won't be eating here again.

Oh where to start. First. All the staff resemble the cast of the Walking Dead. Our pizza was soggy like someone forgot to wipe off the water before tossing the pizza on and making it. A plate my child had nothing but burnt product on it. Very unprofessional. Not to mention the Mac and cheese was cold. Lke they made everything BEFORE the pizza was done. Poor timing when making the food? The host was in clear view of where I was sitting and witnessed vaping in the back. Gonna do that don't do it where customers can see. Everyone apparently had long waiting times and unfortunately the food was not worth the wait or the price. And the service didn't make it any better. My family and I won't be returning. As I told my children, I'm not mad I'm just disappointed.

Overall, the couple experiences have been good. This last time could have been better. The car seat sling we got had trash in it, we weren't given plates or utensils. I feel like the first time we went their beer list was much bigger. The double deckeroni is a good pick, but would recommend a thicker crust with the grease.

I decided to have my Friday night dinner at Old Chicago Pizza. It was my first time dining here. I was seated immediately but once I was seated, I waited and waited for my server. I wasn't upset but I finally asked for help and a very nice lady said that she would get my server and she did. I must say, Bella, my server, made what was a not so good experience into a great experience. She apologized for my wait, took my order, and continued to check on me. I had the Tuscan Chicken with Spinach pizza as my main course, so good! The food, service, and the atmosphere was great. The manager even came to my table to apologize. Thank you so very much, Bella, the manager, and staff!

Good beer selection and tasty pizza. If you join the beer club, drink 110 unique beers (4 per day, max) and you get a shiny new metal plate affixed to plaque at your home restaurant. Make 10 World Beer Tours and you get a 20 oz mug with your name engraved on it to drink out of.

Expected it to be busy on a Saturday night, but our party of four walked in and was seated right away. The service was prompt and courteous. The food was quickly served and delicious. A little on the pricey side, but very good. There were a variety of different beers on tap as well.

Service was very slow. Arrived at 610pm got our drinks at 623pm finally got order placed at 637pm. Appetizer arrived at 710pm. Main course arrived at 713pm. The calzone i got was paper thin not like a dough at all, and burnt, it poured so much grease out that entire plate was covered in grease. The calzone was super soggy from grease as well, my gf got a burger and the bun was rock hard. It is bad when the best part of the meal was the side salad. Spoke with manager, he did apologize for the bad experience. He also said that all his kitchen staff was brand new. This was my first experience with old chicago, and most likely my last.
