A really delicious 😋 place to have really well done barbecue ribs or a tender brisket. The place is really pleasant and enjoyable with a lot of option from the menu 🐖. Also a relax place to have some spiritual drinks 🥂🥃🍾🍷🍸🍹🍺 with the friends or have a good time with the family. The price is really modest and the staff really efficient.

We were looking for some good authentic Kansas City barbecue, and it was a Sunday, so several places were closed. We decided to try Smokehouse Barbecue because they were open. Everything was excellent, although my husband's pulled pork sandwich was on the dry side. That, of course, was an easy fix when all you need to do is add more authentic Kansas City barbecue sauce. I ordered the burnt ends, which in my opinion, is the best way to enjoy authentic barbecue and the beans were excellent! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a gorgeous stained glass oval in the ceiling. I would like to give a shout-out to our waiter. I don't remember his name, but he was a young man. He was new there, and he was excellent! He was so helpful in explaining menu items, was very attentive to our needs, and he had such a sweet and gentle disposition which helped immensely in providing us with a pleasurable dining experience! He should be recognized. The shift was Sunday, August 14, just before closing. We sat in the middle of the restaurant, directly in line with the door, table of 3.

We were looking for some BBQ nearby our hotel and thought we'd check out Smokehouse...it was pretty good. I ordered the half slab baby back ribs meal with mac n cheese and beans. I enjoyed it and would return. The meat was tender & tasty (glad it wasn't salty) & the sides were good and wasn't dry. The waitress was nice and friendly. We also thought the atmosphere was pleasant and beautiful.

We ordered the burnt ends platter, sliced meat platter with 3 meats and the sweet corn nuggets. You got two sides with each platter so we ordered mac and cheese, Cole slaw, baked beans and cheesy corn. Everything was delicious. The brisket melted in my mouth. I couldn't get enough. I am not sure what type of sausage they used but I actually like it and I am not a sausage fan. The atmosphere was good and we loved the waitress. She was sweet. Will definitely be back. Sorry about the pics. We shared food and the picture was after we shared.

I like this place. Smells a little like smoke insider. Service was great. The bbq was good. The beans too sweet for me. I liked the deal on beer on monday. Paid only 3.50 for a pint. I will be back.

My wife had the smoked catfish BBQ Style and she said it was awesome I had the ribs and unfortunately they were out of beef so I had pork ribs and short ribs. Other than being a little heavy on the sauce for me I prefer dry the ribs were excellent fall off the bone tender and had a great smoke flavor the drinks were Beyond good I had the SmokeHouse Manhattan and my wife had the Bahama Mama. 10 out of 10 would recommend and will definitely go back ourselves

Food was superb! Rich barbecue flavors, the smokiness was throughout every bite of the chicken, burnt ends & baby back ribs, the cheesy corn was absolutely mouth watering, the hickory smoked beans were by far the best I've ever had! Even the kids were impressed with the food flavors! The restaurant was immaculate. 🌟Our server was Trinity and let me tell you, that girl was the best waitress I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She was right there for everything, never missing a beat, she would have your next drink there before you could ask for it. Super friendly and she didn't forget one thing we asked for. There was no repeating an order to her. Thank you for having a great place for us to try out for our first BBQ experience in KC! I don't think we should try anything else, you all are hard to beat!

The service was good the food not so much. Over priced for portion size. $72 with tip for 2 people, with no adult beverages. The appetizer sampler was the best thing i had, again quite small for the price. I asked for fries with no salt and was told they came with salt on them before they were cooked; no extra salt added. Turkey sandwich had a very soggy bun and dry meat?? My husband ordered the 3 meat platter. He said it was good except the cole slaw was similar to cold cabbage soup it had so much liquid in it. The bathroom was sort of clean. Parking available. There are so many BBQ places in greater KC I don’t need to return with one in my opinion only rates 2 stars.

The food was alright. The waiter FRANKLIN was great! I would come back here. I am from out of town. This was my first good stop in KC, MO!

We wanted some Barbeque but didn't want to take the full trek into Kansas City from Leavenworth and did not have reservations. We settled for Smokehouse Barbeque in Zona Rosa. I recall trying Smokehouse years before, but dont remember the food; it isn't that memorable. Let's start with the good: the pickle fries were delicious. My son ordered a kids chicken strips and the portion was gigantic. I settled on a lunch platter with beef burnt ends and baby back ribs. Nothing was bad, but it felt kind of bland compared to other Barbeque establishments in the city. My wife selected pork burnt ends and I'm happy to say I'm happy I chose beef; she preferred the pork in comparison, so I suppose it is dealer's choice here. I selected beans as my side. While I was happy with the selection, they just weren't as good as the other Barbeque experiences I've recently had. Smokehouse is decent and adequate if you are looking for something in the area with making a long drive or making reservations. I'll likely remember this trip so I won't be stuck wondering like this time.

Just moved back home to Missouri and decided to go here for a date night. Our waiter who I think was Curtis did an amazing job making sure we had everything we needed the whole time. We not once had to ask for anything and he gave us extra on top of that! This young man is going places and maybe that's upper management because he knows what it takes to make customers not only feel appreciated but also feel special by going the extra mile. It wasn't just us. I saw him give phenomenal service to all of his tables. He deserves a raise. That goes for all the employees who seemed so nice and easy going which can be hard to do on a busy Saturday night. Keep up the great work everybody!

Good food, most of our meal was what you would expect from a BBQ place. Kids menu had adequate options.. The chicken breast was very tender and juicy. The pulled pork nachos were the best thing we ordered. Cocktails were well mixed. The cheesy corn was good, definitely has a cheese product taste instead of true cheese. Our server, Nate, was wonderful. Prompt and very friendly and helpful. Over all, good food, but not anything on the menu that would make want to come back regularly while traveling.

Absolutely no complaints about the food. The ribs, prime rib sandwich, sides and drinks were all excellent. However, my husband ordered “Ribs and Ribs” which was listed around $23. When the bill arrived, we had been charged over $36. We asked our server about it and she said they substituted short ribs for beef ribs and they cost more. We were never asked if the substitute was ok. Most restaurants would have asked us first or given us the upgrade for no extra charge. The manager eventually gave us a $7 price break, but it should have been the full $13. Also, we were one of two tables occupied at the time (it was near closing) and it took forever to get the attention of the waitstaff. Overall, it was great food, but maybe the waitstaff needs a little more training.

Franklin was our server, he was awesome! The order consisted of Prime Rib w Beef and Combo Platter. The atmosphere was awesome and upscale.

I got the lunch combo it was really good I actually was full and I have leftovers. Normally I eat all my food so it's a good thing for me. Service was actually really good our waiter knew the menu he didn't even write it down, and we were in and out in no time.

Good choice for BBQ. Overall very happy with the food, had some issues getting some of the right food to the table but when we did get the food it was good. Did the platter with the Chicken, brisket burnt ends, and the pork ribs. Chicken was very well prepared and held the good smokey flavor. The short ribs seemed to be a bit dry but the baby back ribs were fantastic. The Brisket burnt ends tied it together really well. Had a side of baked potato and the Mac and cheese. Always love some good Mac and cheese and didn't disappoint. The baked potato was good just hoped for more topping options. I would go back to try out their seafood selections and see how their steaks are.

1/30/22 place was packed. Line out the door. There was a few hiccups during our visit. We were seated in a secluded seating area. I don’t think the waiter knew he was soooo busy! & where we were seated he can’t see from his main dining area…. We sat for awhile maybe 20mins? No waiter/waitress. We let the host know. Waiter came very quickly and was very kind. Overall service was wonderful! He came back frequently and was very personal in our convos. We will be back again when in the area! Coleslaw & baby back ribs To die for! Some sides were smaller than expected but all were absolutely delicious! If you don’t want sauce on your ribs/meat let them know. My ribs came with sauces but we got additional sauces on the side

I ordered the Burnt Ends Platter. The price was $15.95 for lunch. It included, Brisket Burnt Ends, Sausage, Cheesy Corn and lightly toasted white bread. The sausage was good, but not exceptional. The temperature of the sausage needed to be a little warmer. Portion size was generous. 7 chunks of sausage and 5 large chunks of burnt ends. The Burnt Ends were all meat. What  little fat that was on them was completely rendered and not fatty. Good flavor. Perfect texture. Cheesy corn was great. Buttery, cheesy and a little to perfectly creamy. The original sauce is excellent. The hot sauce was even better. Just what you think of for KC BBQ sauce. Very satisfying meal. Plenty of food and good quality.

Amazing food, fast service, and great atmosphere. I can't say enough about the great time that we had. Our waitress was helpful and very attentive. We'll be visiting again next time we're in town!
