We
were
looking
for
some
good
authentic
Kansas
City
barbecue,
and
it
was
a
Sunday,
so
several
places
were
closed.
We
decided
to
try
Smokehouse
Barbecue
because
they
were
open.
Everything
was
excellent,
although
my
husband's
pulled
pork
sandwich
was
on
the
dry
side.
That,
of
course,
was
an
easy
fix
when
all
you
need
to
do
is
add
more
authentic
Kansas
City
barbecue
sauce.
I
ordered
the
burnt
ends,
which
in
my
opinion,
is
the
best
way
to
enjoy
authentic
barbecue
and
the
beans
were
excellent!
The
restaurant
is
beautifully
decorated
with
a
gorgeous
stained
glass
oval
in
the
ceiling.
I
would
like
to
give
a
shout-out
to
our
waiter.
I
don't
remember
his
name,
but
he
was
a
young
man.
He
was
new
there,
and
he
was
excellent!
He
was
so
helpful
in
explaining
menu
items,
was
very
attentive
to
our
needs,
and
he
had
such
a
sweet
and
gentle
disposition
which
helped
immensely
in
providing
us
with
a
pleasurable
dining
experience!
He
should
be
recognized.
The
shift
was
Sunday,
August
14,
just
before
closing.
We
sat
in
the
middle
of
the
restaurant,
directly
in
line
with
the
door,
table
of
3.
