If you're interested in arcade games this is the place for you! They have classics like pac man, tetris, Mario Bros and ninja turtles. They also have video games that are projected on a screen about the bar. You can order food and a drink all while playing a game.

Came for the 5 year anniversary celebration today, as the specials were fantastic--but I've been here dozens of times, as this is one of my favorite spots in Kansas City. Part theater, part arcade gamer hangout, part local-enthused draft bar, Tapcade owns the hearts of local geeks and brewers. The selection of taps and arcade machines is expansive and happy hour specials are always worth it. Definitely check this place out on a Tuesday night. The food here is also way more than bar food, surprising everyone with choices like the Buffalo Chicken Rangoons, the Impossible Burger, and KC Poutine. Parking here can be tough, but it's not an impossible distance from KCP&L garages or the Streetcar if you're desperate. If you want some local flavor and are feeling nostalgic, stop by--you'll love it.

Solid artwork. I loved the atmosphere. I unfortunately didn't see enough variety in game options as I thought there would be. Did not go here for any food, so unable to comment on this. I still enjoyed the nostalgia trip though. Great attentive service noticed while moving through tables to get to a different arcade machine. If in the area I might stop by again.

Very nice and helpful staff. Super cool place to chill and play some retro games and get some food with drinks! VERY affordable and your stamp lasts all day. So you can leave and come back without having to pay again.

Really fun, lively place! Arcade games are unlimited play for a great price. Nice-looking menu, did not order anything but the food smelled amazing. Theater is cozy with very comfortable seats. Several birthday parties were occurring, good place for kids and adults. Very clean, pleasant restrooms. Friendly staff too! (Was there for a free Shocktober movie event hosted by a local author.)

Wings are amazing, with a great beer selection this is a no-brainer for craft beer and retro arcade game fans. Game selection and quality of the games has slowly drifted, but some of the classics are still there.

Love this place! Great beer, fun food, 5$ unlimited play. Excited to try out the theater one day. Did or friends 40th bday here recently! Have also Hong out here worth a party of 20 age 2 to 70 between a wedding and reception one day. The service was great both times, there is something for everyone, and you can hear each other!

We parachuted in one night rando and had the best time! (The coldest glass you have, please!) Great selection, cool penny-top bar, and very friendly staff. We did not eat, but the food looked good enough to eat. Nice open air front patio, and views of downtown. Great spot so far. 🍻🤙
