I booked 6+ months in advance for our wedding night - booked a corner suite with a claw foot tub. I noted in the reservation notes this would be our wedding night. When we checked in earlier in the day we reiterated that this was our wedding night. When we arrived in our room after our wedding we were incredibly disappointed. We were not given a nice room. The room was very small and had a giant pillar in the middle of it which took up what little space there was. No tub. Not a suite. Not a corner room. The shower never got hot. The toilet was literally 4 steps away from the head of the bed. It was clear we got bumped from our reservation into a terrible room. It was 11:30pm by then, and we were exhausted from the day so we didn’t have the energy to change rooms. I was so disappointed - I had been looking forward to staying here on our special night for years. The next morning I called the front desk and they told me they’d refund the difference of the room I got versus the room I booked. Given how far in advance we booked and how abundantly clear we made it that this was our wedding night I was expecting a little more than the bare minimum to make up for their error. Hilton is a brand with a great reputation for their hospitality and this didn’t live up to the mark. A few weeks later I decided to email their customer service team. They decided to not do anything to make it right. I’m bummed that the night of our wedding was marred with mediocrity, and Hilton didn’t see the need to make up for it. If you’re planning to book a suite - do your due diligence to make sure you get the room you’ve booked. If you’re planning on staying in a standard room - find a different hotel. The standard room was atrocious for the cost.

I was a bit worried to stay here after reading some of the other reviews but was pleasantly surprised. While they clearly have staffing shortages and are having to cut some corners the overall experience is pretty good. The rooms and decor are unique compared to your average hotel, and if you get the bathtub room you are in for a treat. My check in experience was smooth and my room was clean enough. All of the important surfaces (bed, tables/chairs, bathroom fixtures, main areas of floor) were very clean and free of stains. While I would expect a 4 star hotel to be spotless, I wasn't planning on using the space behind the chair, so I didn't mind too much that it was dusty. Some of the fixtures and furnishings were defiantly showing some wear and tear and could do with a replacement. The room did have a mini fridge and microwave that were both clean, and not advertised as being included. The AC worked well, although the room did feel a bit damp. It was 100 outside and very humid, but my room was able to hang out at about 67, and I was on the 19th floor. The public areas however were very hot. I don't think the halls had any working AC at all. They also used an air freshener scent in the lobby area that made me wonder if the hotel was hosting an axe body spray convention. Overall I would definitely stay here again. They rooms and decor are a step above your average hotel. The staff is friendly and the location is great. I just hope they can shine up their rooms so that they can provide a truly unbeatable experience.

I work in regional management in the hotel industry and have also stayed many Hilton properties. This was by far the worst. The board holding the rails for the bathroom door wasn’t even painted. The place holders for the wet towels is placed directly above the toilet paper holder, all of us know how useless wet toilet paper is. The outlet in the room was not even flush to the wall. Brand standard amenities not even in the room and substituted with with Eco brand which is a cheap hotel product purchased off Amazon. I will say, the valet drivers and the front desk were very friendly, professional and I would bring them on to any of my properties in a heart beat. However, who ever the MOD was on Saturday June 25th should be terminated without any doubt! When I was checking out I could tell the girl wasn’t feeling well. I asked her if she needed us to call anyone or get her anything. She said she had notified her MOD several times that she’s not feeling well. She started vomiting right at the desk. I heard her and witnessed her call the MOD several times over her radio. She had her ear piece up so loud I could hear the rude responses from the manager. That girl at the desk held her composure and I could tell she wanted to cry. She kept apologizing, though there was nothing for her to apologize for. She explained over the radio to her manager that she had just vomited at the desk and the MOD still didn’t come assist her. A lack of care for your employee shows a lack of care for your guest and company. I strongly recommend the termination of the MOD. I strongly recommend hotel ownership and investors step in their hotel, clearly it’s not being done. The room I was in should of never been rented. The hourly staff is being treated horribly. I would not recommend this hotel based on the management to guest or investors.

Wish I didn’t have to put a star. This is based on my (almost) stay for 10/21/2022-10/22/2022. The good: Front desk was very friendly, understanding and apologetic. Thank god they cancelled our room without penalty. To start, I understand the concept of the hotel. However, it is NOT 4 star hotel. The hotel is dilapidated. The place was dingy, smelly and just overall strange. I got a bad feeling as soon as I walked into the lobby. Listen to your intuition. Second, the elevators are so small! I guess it’s supposed to be the concept of an older elevator, but I did not feel safe. I became anxious and claustrophobic. Third, upon arriving to our floor the hallways are dark and creepy, not inviting at all. There were cracks in the wall and the same weird smell from the lobby was stronger - pungent, moldy, old (not taken care of). Idk how else to explain it. Fourth, we went to our room and it was a mess with more cracks in the wall. The bed was UNMADE and the trash can was full. Makes me wonder if someone was currently staying in that room, or this place is just very disorganized and didn’t have the room cleaned prior to a new check in. It was 7:00 PM. Also, the photos attached make the room look larger than what it is. The room was TINY. Who the hell is going to spend $200 a night on a space like this? Nope. To summarize, I am not high maintenance. I have stayed at all types of hotels and motels with low and high stars with good customer ratings. There just comes a point in your adult life where you know what spending more money at a nice hotel provides - cleanliness. I had stayed at the Loews the night before, and thankfully I was able to get a room there again so I could sleep in peace. Spend the extra money elsewhere for your peace of mind. The Loews was only $70 more after taxes. If you’re unable to spend the extra money, I am sure you could find other hotels with prices that are comparable to Hotel Phillips. Honestly, I’m just in shock that the Hilton name is attached to the Hotel Phillips. I would absolutely not recommend staying here.

Good location but the front desk could learn how to be better at customer service (especially for Hilton Honors Diamond members). The front desk staff is so rude. This 70 year old guy named David was so unprofessional and nonplussed when I asked if I could have my room vacuumed as it had obviously not been cleaned properly. When I asked for some water he groaned and said that they were out and he couldn’t leave the desk. Rooms need to be renovated. We are talking paint peeling from the wall. The shower has a half glass partition (think Europe) so water gets everywhere on the floor and the water pressure on the fixed shower head is woefully low. This isn’t art deco classic anymore but in dire need of a re-do. They still use third party, no name mini bottles for shampoo, conditioner and lotion. How is this a 4 star hotel? This is not the place. I cut my two week stay to two nights. So disappointed not only in the tiny room (renovated king deluxe) but the lack of service even to their most loyal diamond members. The only restaurant closes on Sundays and at odd hours due staffing issues. What good is the food & beverage credit if it can’t be used?

If I could do 0 stars I would. About 6 months ago my wife and I booked a suite with Hotel Phillips to stay at after our wedding on 5/21/2022. We confirmed with the hotel multiple times in advance that the reservation was good to go. We informed them we would be showing up late since we'd be arriving after our reception. WE EVEN CONFIRMED WITH THEM LESS THAN A WEEK BEFORE THE RESERVATION AND THEY CONFIRMED!!! The room was to have champagne and food to celebrate the day! Cue up the day of the wedding, we arrived to the hotel around 11:30pm only to be informed they were overbooked. My wife was standing in her wedding dress and me in my suit in the lobby with our bags, being informed they gave our room to someone else even though we confirmed less than a week prior to the reservation. The receptionist was unapologetic and wouldn't even look us in the eye, just at her computer. All she said was "Yeah this happens sometimes." She then told us to walk down to Hotel Kansas City. No ride or anything was offered. So middle of the night, in our wedding attire still, walking through downtown KC to a new hotel. I rarely post reviews, but felt the need this time to hopefully save someone else from the experience we had.

THIS IS NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL. Now I understand the terrible 4.0 Google rating. Whoever the owner of this place is, they do not care about the guest. We rented at least a dozen rooms for a wedding and still were treated to amateur treatment from unskilled staff. If you’re dumb enough to place your $100,000,000.00 hotel in the hands of awful staff, you get what you don’t get what you won’t pay for, you cheap bums. And your guests, because they don’t like to upset anyone, likely won’t complain. Boo to the terrible absentee owner of this old place. It sucks and could be so much better. An amateur place with an amateur staff.

As a first timer in KC, this hotel is in a great location. I was in a corner room on a high floor, I'd recommend the same if you can get it. Great view. The hotel in general could definitely use a refresh. Room was nice but the peeling paint, ledges and furniture were noticeably worn. Service was great but professionalism left a lot to be desired. Staff arguments, belching/burping loudly in the lobby should never happen in front of guests. This isn't a 4 or 5 star hotel in my eyes but, it does the trick. Food at the Italian restaurant downstairs is serviceable but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. The gold/diamond lounge is great. Quick snacks and wine during certain hours. Bring cash for tips. Again, nice stay but manage your expectations.

I was told that when I checked in I did not have breakfast included for the people in my stay, i took the employees word and it wasn’t until the third day of my stay that I was told otherwise. So not only Did I pay for two adults per day(4 days, 3 nights) but then I paid for breakfast elsewhere and all that I was offered was two well drink vouchers which I was unable to use, not because they were denied but because it was closed during my available times. (Visiting for business) Also, the restaurant is quiet but the food was good. I expected an Italian menu for the breakfast once I did check it out before checking out of my room, but it was a light American style. Menu online site is not up to date!! The employees at that time were attentive. The room was nice, felt crowded for a deluxe suite because of the larger coffee table. The shower was so uncomfortable. It is a half glass door and because of that you can easily get cold while showering. If the switch on the wall aaa a heat lamp/fan, mine did not work and was very dusty under the cover. the water pressure was OK, but the shower head pointed to the wall so no heater, poor pressure, and got chilly super easily. I did expect a better bathroom due to no pics on the site. On the features it lists a boutique, there is NO boutique. Lobby was clean and always immaculate, I just wish that the rooms/service was up to par. An area for improvement. The historical features of the hotel were a nice touch. Overall I rate this a 2/5 because the price is average per night here and it’s possible I could’ve stayed elsewhere and had a better experience.

We used the Hilton app to check in and it gave us our room number and the electronic key. When we walked into the room, there was already a couple in there. Probably a technology issue double booking rather than the hotel’s fault. The staff was extremely apologetic, got us a new room, and gave us a free meal at the connected restaurant and told us to order anything and as much as we wanted, which was very generous of them. Our hotel room however was not clean at all. There were crumbs, dirt, candy wrappers, and a sock on the floor. Makeup smudges on the mirror. Dust on all surfaces. Clearly not vacuumed at all (which in my opinion is the easiest type of cleaning to do), or cleaned with any kind of care. There were multiple stickers and signs throughout the room talking about cleanliness and sanitation. I realize it is hard to find good help these days, but for such a highly rated hotel it was unbelievable to us. In the morning while we were still laying in bed we heard our door open. We said “hello?” then we heard a mumble and the door close. Not a big deal, but odd. The hotel lobby was really neat and shuffleboard was fun. Location was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but appeared to be stressed and understaffed. It’s too bad it wasn’t clean otherwise we would have given it a much better review.

Enjoyed our stay here—really neat old building that still retains its charm even with modern updates. Our room was clean, nicely and simply decorated. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable and the bathroom fairly spacious for its size. the staff was super friendly and helpful. Added bonus is being so close to the streetcar and other attractions. Definitely would stay here again.

This may have been a nice hotel at one time but, It is clear that no effort has been made to maintain the rooms since the renovation. They are not providing the level of service you would expect at this price point. The room was not clean and the room had various repair issues that had not been addressed. We remade the bed since the person who made it initially was not able to get the sheet to fully cover the mattress. The housekeeping staff came in unannounced at 9 AM as we were packing to leave. When I called the front desk to address an issue with our bill and inform them of some of the other problems they heard me out but, it was clear that none of this was a shock to them. If you can stay somewhere else I would. If everything is booked then make sure you don't go in with high expectations.

My best friend got in on her wedding night (almost midnight) and they had given their room away. Customized room garnished with paid upgrades- gone. Concierge hardly apologized and admitted they overbook all the time “this has happened the last few weekends”. Sent them “down the street” to a completely different hotel stating it was just a couple minutes walk. She was still in her wedding dress!!! No sympathy, no willingness to correct their mistake. Definitely would not recommend if you’re looking for a guaranteed stay (of course you are- that’s why you’re booking a hotel)

Your going to spend a lot for a rundown Hotel. Had two rooms BOTH drains did not drain. The pictures are from the second room, not the first room. Front desk staff was horrible when checking in and out. When we checked out both front desk staff on their phones, never looked up. The first valet guy was awesome and the maintenance guy was nice and got us another room. The cost to what you get was to great… stay at another hotel many other options in the power and lights area.

Oh my goodness!!! I WILL stay here any chance I get! Valet had quite the line when we arrived, but they were MOVING! I in turn assumed the check in would be that busy too. Nope, we were checked in so quick and smoothly. The room was beautiful clean, even a flower made out of the tissues! Everyone from front desk to valet was so professional!! Great job everyone!!

This place could be really good but there's some basic things I really need to add. They need to have more than one ice maker on every other floor there should be a standard size ice maker on every floor, there should be a mini fridge in the rooms, there needs to be a sundry shop in the lobby, the lighting in the hallways needs to be worked on the color scheme is great but the lighting could doesn't necessarily have to be brighter just needs to be more abundant. The restaurant service on the morning where there's going to be a lot of people needs to have more than one waitress they were certainly overwhelmed. Not sure why any hotel still have not figured out how to add a night light feature into a bathroom so that you don't have to turn the lights on and get blinded after you've been in the dark for the last 3 hours when you're going to the bathroom. I think with some of the upgrades and basic accoutrements noted above the rating would easily be a four

Although the staff was friendly until I made a complaint over the phone, I found the service extremely lacking. We requested extra pillows and blankets that never showed up. We asked for them twice in person and once over the phone. When we asked for them over the phone it was the first time and only time they had answered. The first night of our stay our AC was broken. It was a very hot and uncomfortable night. Due to the long travel we decided to try and bear and wait until the next morning to do anything about it. They had a maintenance guy show up the next morning about 11:00. He looked at it for a minute and tinkered with some thing. He said he’d be back in 45 minutes to check on it. That never happened either. The room continued to get hotter. We finally asked them to put us in a new room because the AC was broken. They did offer us a luggage cart to help with moving but didn’t offer anything other than that. When we arrived in our new room there was no refrigerator. After attempting to call the front desk from the room phone seven or eight times with no answer, I finally got a hold of someone through my cell phone. I complained of my unsatisfactory experience thus far. She was very short with me, told me they would get someone to bring that refrigerator up to our room and then hung up on me. We will not be staying here again nor would we recommend it to any of our friends or family. With all that being said the hotel is beautiful but this place needs a serious service facelift.

Okay so I waited until my entire stay was over to write this review. It's a long one so just bare with me. I booked a weekend stay in a room with King size bed for my husbands birthday. I originally did not look at reviews and based my reservation on the 4 star status of the hotel. The room was 230 a night. Upon getting there on Friday afternoon we noticed the valet was slightly backed up due to having two drivers working that night but was not a big deal. Once at the check out we received an upgrade as the king beds in regular rooms were unavailable. The elevators were slow but once inside it was the darkest scariest elevator I've ever been in. Finally made it to the room and the room was dusty. On Friday the speakeasy and restaurant closed early due to being understaffed which was a real inconvenience. Saturday morning I woke u to a bug crawling next to my face! I told the staff about all of the problems and was credited for one night's stay. We did not do the breakfast as I thought at 20 dollars per person it would be restaurant styled breakfast but it was a buffet and soooo many people were touching the food. We went to the speakeasy later that afternoon and found that there was hardly any lighting at all and it was quite expensive for the drinks which were okay. Overall it was not awful but definitely not what I expected for the original price, and not somewhere I would ever stay again. The best part about the hotel was the location and the staff. Those who were there worked hard and remained friendly even though they were clearly understaffed. The lead valet driver is amazing and the manager of the hotel is super dope. The worst part about the hotel is the design. I get it was going for like a 1930s art deco concept but honestly the designer really missed the mark. It comes off as tacky opposed to timeless. This sentiment was shared by multiple quest whom I chatted with while staying. Also the darkness provides some coverage to the fact that the hotel was not the cleanest. Being understaffed has really been detrimental to the upkeep of this place. Most of the velvet surfaces are.covered in so much dust. Honestly I think the Hilton should invest in redoing the design of the place, make it brighter. Also it sucked to not have access to where they park the cars. But that was for personal reasons.

Called at 2:30pm and was told one of our two rooms was ready, great! Showed up at 3pm and was told that was not true and neither of our rooms were ready but if we came back after dinner at least one of our rooms would be ready. Showed back up at 6pm and again neither of our rooms were ready. I had already been told that due to the snow people checked out late and only half the cleaning crew came in. The issue was when I showed up the first time I was never added to the waiting list. Thank goodness for the gentleman working the front desk (the ONLY positive part of this entire ordeal) he did everything in his power to get me in one of our rooms prior to our concert. He promised when I showed back up after the concert our other room would be ready. When we came back at 2am it still wasn’t ready along with at least 5 other groups waiting for rooms still. We finally told them to check us out and we would go somewhere else. They never checked us out and considered our room we never got a “late cancel”. The poor front desk people had absolutely no backup from management.

This is a historical landmark, which adds to the charm of this beautiful prohibition era hotel. The rooms are a nice size. If you like to have a drink I definitely recommend the speakeasy which is hidden behind the front desk wall. You enter through a hidden door downstairs in the basement. The bar lounge is beautiful though and has a decent amount of nicely appointed seating. My only issue with this hotel sometimes is the front desk staff doesn't seem to be attentive to the guests' needs. It's like they don't want to be there. If that changed, I would definitely give this place 5 stars.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your room. This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and normally will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is one of my favorites in the area. I have been staying here for years. If you choose this place you for sure won't be disappointed. Concierge service valet bartenders and people were all around very welcoming here. Great spot for drinks need reservations and it's quite a bit pricey but well worth it!

Great & friendly service from evening receptionist, and executive lounge server. Really nice executive lounge with good drinks & snacks. Two Negative experience with room temperature (broken air conditioning) room temperature was at 75 the entire night & the receptionist told me nothing could be done. I literally just sat in the lobby majority of the night because it was cooler. my night was restless & uncomfortable, which made my business trip a little bit more exhausting.

My Maid of Honor and I stayed here the night before my wedding and it was perfect! As we were checking in, the front desk staff noticed I was a bride and put a $50 credit on our room so we could grab a drink at the hotel bar to relax before the rehearsal dinner. This really stood out to us and we appreciated the above and beyond attention to detail. The room itself was very cute and close to lots of great coffee shops for the next morning. All around highly recommend!

hotel was very nice. All the staff from the front desk to valet, to the bar tenders were all professional and knew their job well. The decor was a step back in time to the 1930s with all the modern conveniences. The Speakeasy Lounge was a decadent treat as a throwback to the Prohibition days when the hotel was first constructed. The best part was Hilton diamond members do get access to a lounge where there are complementary food and drinks. Overall it is a great hotel. The location is great. Right downtown. Close to restaurants and bars. A lot to do in that area.

Stayed here for the Mariah Carey Concert and the hotel was very nice it seemed like a historical building from the inside but was very fancy appealing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Their Breakfast Mimosa's were amazing and fresh! I'm bummed I forgot my Mariah Carey Vinyl in the room and have not heard back from housekeeping yet.

Hotel Phillips in Kansas City is a delightful blend of historic charm and modern sophistication, making my recent stay mostly enjoyable. The hotel's Art Deco architecture and elegant decor transported me to a bygone era of glamour, setting the stage for a unique experience in the heart of the city. The location is a major plus, right in the bustling downtown area, making it convenient to explore Kansas City's attractions, dine at local restaurants, and enjoy the vibrant nightlife. Despite its central location, the hotel maintains a sense of tranquility, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration. Rooms at Hotel Phillips are a highlight. They are tastefully decorated, combining a historic feel with contemporary comforts. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Cleanliness and maintenance of the room and common areas are top-notch, which is always appreciated. The staff at Hotel Phillips are truly commendable. From the front desk to housekeeping, each team member was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. Their attention to detail in service really sets this hotel apart. Dining at the hotel was a delightful experience. The on-site restaurant offers a range of delicious options, and the breakfast buffet was a morning treat with a wide variety of fresh and tasty selections. However, one aspect that I missed during my stay was the lack of a refrigerator or mini-bar in the room. Having the convenience to store cold drinks or snacks would have been a significant plus, especially after long days exploring the city. In summary, Hotel Phillips is a wonderful choice for anyone visiting Kansas City, offering a charming stay with just a minor area for improvement. It's a solid 4-star experience, combining historical elegance, excellent service, and a prime location. I would certainly recommend it and look forward to returning, hopefully with the addition of in-room refrigerators or mini-bars in the future!

This was suggested a cute and classy little hotel! It was decorated for the holidays and had a little hot cocoa bar. Rooms were designed well and very clean. Also used the gym facilities which were clean and convenient. 10/10 would reccomend!

Almost missed out on this amazing room, but a quick online comparison, especially on HoteIDuIIy.cᴏm, got me a real catch. I booked the corner room with a claw foot tub for my husband's birthday weekend and have all good things to say about the hotel and our room. We were only here for 1 night but I wish it was longer. The room wasn't extravagant-simple, pretty and comfortable. The bathroom was gorgeous. Had no trouble with the tub or filling for a bath. Highly recommend if you want to feel luxurious. We reserved drinks at the speakeasy after dinner. Stayed for 1 drink each and waited a little while for a booth to open up and loved the vibe. Also highly recommend-it gets busy on weekends but be patient because drinks were delicious and I'm picky when finding a good cocktail. Overall, loved our stay and the hotel.

Gorgeous hotel with great service! Everyone was very hospitable. My only complaint is that we couldn’t find anywhere in the hotel or within walking distance to buy water/other nonalcoholic drinks or snacks. Our room style also didn’t have a fridge (not sure if any of them do) so we couldn’t save leftovers from the restaurants we went to. Vending machines or a little shop would be a nice addition!

First, I just want to let guest know that this hotel has a nice 20s vibe, nice lobby and friendly staff, valet was good, restaurant and floors seem fine. Slender elevator as an old building wood. However, the rooms, the room was very dingy and old, and not as pictured the furniture seemed worn And there was just some thing about it that I cannot place, it’s definitely not worth the $350 that we spent it on it. For the price I expected a luxury only to end up with a room comparable to La Quinta. Room was not as pictured, no heat and busted blinds. This was supposed to be a celebration weekend and we decided to move onto a new location. They have a bar but couldn’t even provide us with glasses for a bottle of champagne? Champagne bucket only to use paper cups ? Not for the price guys come on. No refrigerator no microwave I would never spend more than $100 on a room like this may be $150 because of the location. Good job to staff. Disappointed on the room I am glad that we checked it out prior to booking for our wedding. Good location for wedding photos though. ( note I really felt like I’d step back to the 20s. )also a photo shows breakfast on the bed. This is temp discontinued as of Covid.

We loved our stay at this historic hotel. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful, though a little small. We got to stop by the Diamond Lounge for a snack and drinks, and had a nice breakfast in the restaurant the next morning. The location was in easy walking distance of the Kauffman Center, where we were in town to see a concert. Very happy with our stay here. We parked in the garage on the same block for $18 per day.

So yes it's a historic hotel. Room nicely laid out and bathroom updated. Nice room, but not the cleanest. Opened the door to see streaks running down the wall, stain on carpet in front of couch and overall dusty room. In the shower found shampoo already opened, half gone, soapy on the outside, definitely not fresh. Would stay again, but bring my own cleaning supplies

I loved this place, I really liked the vibe, very old century. We only stayed one night just for fun not for vacation. Most of the staff were very friendly. We had a couple drinks and ate at the bar, the rattle snake pasta was pretty good! Then we went down to the speakeasy and that was cool because I’ve never been to one. The bar tenders were very attentive at the speakeasy and you could tell they really like what they do. The bed and pillows were so comfy. It was quiet. We had no complaints

This hotel has so much potential - the decor is beautiful and you can’t beat the style. It needs an army of cleaners to come in armed with dusters and vacuums. As my wife put it. This place looks like someone had a party 20 years ago and they still haven’t cleaned up. There is also a persistent smell of feet, body odor, and musty old towels in the rooms and hallways. We moved rooms to avoid. The whole place smells the same. Clean it up Hilton. You are sitting on so much opportunity.

Nice little boutique hotel in downtown KC with Hilton brand. Nice lobby. New Diamond lounge open weekdays. Speakeasy is excellent (make reservations). Service was friendly all around, from front desk to valet. Room was cozy. Bathroom a little small, but it’s a bathroom so who cares. Great walkable location.

Stayed here for about a week and a half, staff here is very welcoming and friendly, I was always greeted by the staff every time I walked in the hotel. The hotel is also very clean and well organized. Restaurant food was amazing. Breakfast was served everyday from 6am to 12pm which is a great thing to have for guests. Laura I believe her name was, always greeted me everyday for breakfast. Will definitely come back again

Stayed while in town for a concert. The room was nice. I liked the old hotel decor. 2 issues were that our comforter was white with a big stain. It was late when we noticed it so we just kicked it off the bed. Issue 2 is the design of the shower. Door is on the opposite side of the controls so you have to get in to turn it on and then the freezing water hits you until it gets warm or you run. Overall we'd stay here again but not my favorite hotel ever

The hotel is very beautiful. The rooms are nice, beds comfortable but the room service lacking. Our bed was made but that’s about as good as it gets. No liners in trash cans, 1 towel, no hand soap, very dusty surfaces, and I heard in the lobby a guest getting a refund because of something gross left in their room.
