When first arrived the hotel had a bad sulphuric smell that permeated the entire first floor. In the room there was trash from previous guests under my bed. The bathtub took forever to drain so showers were not enjoyable. The pool was nice and in good condition. Plenty of pool towels. Lots of seating around the patios area. Chelsea was always rude and nasty to us and other guests. She was always too busy or just plain out refused to help in any way shape or form during our stay. The restaurant and bar was off the hook and I’d love to go back there. The food was fresh and correct temperatures and tasted really good. I tried some new foods and loved it. The service in the restaurant was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and eager to take care of us. They seemed very genuine and happy to see us.

Housekeeping woke us at 7am and then walked into the room at 10am without knocking. I had just finished dressing. Check out is noon. 3 minutes earlier and it would have been a full Monty. The people working the lobby have no interest in refilling the coffee and creamer. No, they weren’t busy. No one was at the desk. Went to call the front desk and discovered the phone is broken. Bathtub doesn’t drain. Lights flicker on and off. All of them. Don’t bother with the restaurant. Drive 1.5 miles to Nick and Ninos. Half the price. Really good. We’ve stayed here probably 7 times over the last year and a half and never had problems. For the money this cost, we won’t stay again.

Definitely a nice hotel for the price. It's extremely close to the airport so it doesn't really need that much in the way of amenities since you would only be here a day or two and then traveling out quickly. When we walked in, the staff checking us in with friendly and when I asked about an upgrade due to being a platinum status member, we got an upgrade from a double queen room to their biggest one bedroom suite. The room was huge and it was very nice and clean. The king size bed was massive and very comfortable. However that fold out sofa bed was bad and not comfortable at all. It would have been more comfortable just to sleep on the sofa without unfolding the bed. But overall the service and the hotel were great and it was worth it.

Gentleman at the front desk was amazing on accommodating us with a room not close to high traffic area. Decent sized double queen for the price. Loved the large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash on the shower wall. This Made me feel more at home. Towels are also fluffy and large.. Oh and the breakfast was very filling. Loved the fried potatoes... We will def be staying here again real soon...

This is a mixed review. Overall the hotel is very clean, safe, great parking, professionally staffed, with a great bar offering quality food. My room'; had no microwave (should have read the fine print), slow shower drain, long hair on shower wall, room phone did not work, "micro fridge" in room pretty much worthless, and room was very small with a strange layout. In room coffee selections were most excellent, as well as the entertainment opportunities on the large wide screen TV. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. Jessica in the bar was so awesome she raised this trip level one star.

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff, pillows were flat & uncomfortable. 2 bottles of water in our room, so that was a nice perk. The room comes with breakfast but it doesn't start until 7, so if you have an early flight out like we did, you don't get any. It would be nice if they offered grab & go breakfast or even cereal, for those leaving before 7a.

I write this as a multi-year Marriott Platinum and Titanium Elite member. Marriott is my exclusive hotel brand provider. I have stayed across multiple properties in multiple cities. This Four Points Kansas City location was by far the worst location I’ve attempted to stay at. Ever. While from the outside you can tell this is an older property, I did not expect a bad experience. This changed walking into the lobby. First impressions are everything and this hotel was setting a bad one. From cigarette smoke wafting into the lobby from a smoker right outside the entrance doors to the decor being dated and dark, I’d immediately knew I’d made the wrong choice of stay. Even though I had reservations on the condition of the property I checked in and was issued a room on the fifth floor. Here I was directed to the hotel’s lone elevator which was located down a hall. Turning the corner into the carpeted areas I was hit with nose-wrenching stagnant air. This only got worse when I hit my floor. Stepping off the elevator the dead stagnant air turned worse and hinted towards wet or moldy smelling. My room, though clean, was dated and dark as well. I attempted to take a shower after about 5 mins in the room only to find that the tub would not drain. Upon closer inspection there were foreign hairs floating in the pooling water. Gross. This was the last straw for me. I gathered my things and left the hotel to move to different property. I will not be returning to this property and would highly recommend others to seek alternative lodging if looking for something close to the Kansas City airport.

First room on the top floor didn't have working AC, had blood on the pull out couch, and the entire top floor felt like it was a sauna because there was no cool air flow. Moved to a 2nd room and it reeked of cigarette smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. Moved to a 3rd room that was alright. You can tell this place is older, the rooms aren't great, and I didn't enjoy my stay. Very disappointed and will not stay at this hotel again.

Was the first time that I actually stayed at this hotel. I did the park sleep and fly offer. The staff were friendly the rooms were clean. The hotel was a little bit dingy here and there. The shuttle driver for my trip out was absolutely delightful. Unfortunately the shuttle driver for my return trip and the staff who answered the phone were extremely rude and seemed annoyed by our presence. The shuttle driver drove very aggressively around the roundabouts at the airport. Hard stops and hard accelerations.

The hotel is in need of some maintenance and updates. Decor is pretty dated and a lot of it shows signs of wear. Elevator had broken buttons (worked but cracked and didn't light up), for instance. Dropoff area was dirty and had broken pavement. 3 Star isn't fair, really a 2 1/2 star at best. The room was clean and just fine and the bed was decently soft and comfortable. Seems quiet. Value is good, so if you're paying for yourself and just want to sleep, it's good. If work is paying for it, find somewhere better.

Not the typical Four Points by Sheraton. Rooms are in dire need of actual renovation and updating; not just another coat of paint, newer TV and granite vanity top in the bathroom. The rooms appear to have the kind of damages and wear/tear that comes with either; frequent room parties and/or years of use/abuse without proper maintenance. Bed was wore down to the bed platform, carpets were matted, dirty and stained. The couch hasn't been cleaned, the ironing board had what appeared to be dried, male body fluids (Definitely NOT starch), old tile floors in the batroom, old, leaky toilet that has rusty hardware. To add insult to injury; it is VERY safe to claim housekeeping does an extremely poor job and lacks a significant level of attention to even the most obvious details. This review is not meant to serve as an insult to the Sheraton brand in any way, but rather highlight opportunities for improvement across multiple areas within this particular hotel.

I stayed here for business travel. This was a nice hotel. I could see where they had done a lot of renovations to the hotel. The room was comfort. The restaurant had good food. My only complaint was the Wi-Fi was terrible. I hope they fix it before I return to Kansas City.

Room was comfortable, but there were someone else's hairs on the bathroom wall. AC fan was loud, as was the young men's sports team running in the halls and yelling. The only elevator we found was very small and slow. The very early morning shuttle service was on time, and the driver was helpful.

We were pleased with the hotel, it was very near the airport and we appreciated tge very responsive shuttle- eve at 1:00 AM - knowing the hotel did not offer breakfast to guests we planned on visiting their buffet which we imagined would be open til 11 or 12 at least! As we arrived they were breaking down and offered no option! This was our only disappointment!

I was very pleased with my stay, park and fly experience at the Four Points by Sheraton near the KCI airport. The room was comfortable for my brief stay. The shuttle to the airport was quick and the driver was very kind and courteous. My wife and I, along with our 7 year old granddaughter were scheduled to return nine days after our departure, but we were caught up the Southwest Airlines fiasco. As a result we had to fly back to an airport nearly four hours away. I called the hotel, explaining our predicament, and they told me not to worry, that there would not be any additional charges for leaving my car there for two additional days. I did not use the shuttle from the airport back to the hotel, since I drove a separate vehicle to KC to pick up my car. Thank you to the folks at Four Points by Sheraton for understanding the situation.

This hotel was perfect and was only a 5 minute shuttle ride to the airport. (Stay was Sept 2023). The great things about this hotel: - The 24 hour FREE, yes FREE Shuttle was my first attraction to the hotel. Not all hotels by the airport have shuttles that run 24 hours, but Four Points Sheraton by the KCI Airport does. My flight left at 5:40am in the morning and I had a shuttle departure of 3:20am, which was perfect. - The hotel was clean - Rooms were spacious and have a sofa in them. I stayed on the 4th floor which was great. I stayed closer to the elevator because the hallways are very long, so you could walk a long distance to your room. That was not a deal breaker, though. - Restaurant on the property has fantastic salads and great service. It was also clean and the waitress and, even guest, were friendly. The salad was huge. I had the chef's salad with no ham or turkey, but it had eggs, cucumbers, broccoli, onions, etc. I added bacon and was asked by the waitress if I wanted strips of bacon or crumbled. I knew right then that I was in good hands. (Smiling) I'll definitely stay again and recommended it to some family members who have a trip in October 2023.

Recent stay here for two nights on business. Checked in on the afternoon of September 27. Was greeted by the friendliest staff member. Check in process great. As mentioned in other reviews, the hotel is certainly need of some overall cosmetic attention. Other than that, location is excellent for airport access. Room was clean, parking was great. Would recommend.

Exceeded my expectations. Went there last week and the room was clean, hotel in a convenient/safe location, shuttle service from the airport and car rental area (just call in advance to request a pick-up), friendly staff, well-kept lobby and hotel, a bar/restaurant open late, and a good breakfast buffet.

We had a late check in and was put in a room on the first floor way in the back by sevice/ maintance area. We were tired and had small children so just wanted to shower and sleep. The bathroom is super small and has rusted out bathtub water pressure was awful and the toilet would not flush. By this point kids were asleep and we did not want to deal with it. For this type of hotel which is considered higher end it wasnt any better than a cheap motel. I would not recommend this hotel nor would I stay here again. I never leave reviews but this was just so disappointing considering the 4 stars.

The lobby and dining areas are very nice, with a very spacious and well equipped workout area. Not to mention they provide workout towels and free bottled water too. However, the rooms just felt very outdated for a Marriott hotel. I would highly recommend doing a complete upgrade on the interior of the room, starting with the bathroom. As many others have said, the shower does not drain at all while running, and the countertop wasn’t cleaned at all. Everything in the room just felt old or outdated. It was nice being 2 miles down the road from the airport, and the free shuttle that is provided.

The hotel is very convenient if you have a late arrival or early departure. But rooms and service are definitely lacking. We arrived at 1130 PM and were told it would be at least 45 minutes for the shuttle, we ended up taking an Uber. Also be aware there is no place to store luggage and the lobby has seating for only about 10 people. So if you are planning to check out and wait at the hotel you may be sitting on the floor.

Room and bathroom were clean upon arrival. Front desk staff was very friendly. Bed was pretty comfortable. No real complaints to report so far. I've got 3 more nights, will report back if something changes. If I had any gripes, bathroom vanity is a tad small too place several items & ice machines are not on every floor. Not a huge deal

I needed to shorten my stay and the on duty manager would not accommodate and refused to contact the general manager. Later, we were informed that she was not actually in management. This location is not very clean and falls very short of what we expect from Marriott brands. This experience has given us pause to making Marriott brands a top choice.

Great location for the airport. Nicely appointed room with up-to-date furnishings. Comfortable bed and room. Everything you'd expect from a room costing much more. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast at the in-house restaurant was first rate.

The hotel was nice and convenient to the airport. The restaurant and bar on site was what pushed this experience up to a 4 for me. The food was good and the staff were all attentive. The breakfast buffet was also top notch. If you are in the area I would not hesitate in staying at this hotel.

People make good places better. Chelsea and Greg make this hotel exceptional. They are truly good people and do what they can to help you. I would stay here again just for the staff. The only small negative would be hours of restaurant But there are other options so you don't go hungry.

This hotel is overall okay but not great. The gym is big and spacious, but needs to be cleaned badly. The beds are very comfortable, but when you walk in the room there is a sort of "wet sock" smell that blasts you in the face. It seems like they have a moisture problem. Another downside is that the breakfast is disgusting and costs an additional $13. Definitely not worth that price, go somewhere else for real food (there are plenty of restaurants near the hotel). Didn't use the pool since it was very grey outside but it did look nice. Employees here are all very friendly. Stayed here for work, hopefully won't have to again.

The hotel lobby looked great compared to the rooms. Not cleaned very well. Hair in the bathroom and sticky feeling surfaces. I travel with my own cleaning wipes and spray so I did my own cleaning to get me thru the night. Flight was canceled and the airline put me there which is the ONLY reason I stayed there. Slight musty smell inside. Could use a major upgrade and deep cleaning to get rid of the smell. Employees were very kind and attentive

Don't forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. This website will compare thousands of booking web sites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is the best rated in the area. I've been coming here for years. If you decide to stay here you will love it I'm sure! Room and bathroom were clean upon arrival. Front desk staff was very friendly. Bed was pretty comfortable. No real complaints to report so far. I've got 3 more nights, will report back if something changes. We did the stay and fly deal with breakfast. Very reasonable price. Slept well, nice breakfast buffet, car was safe while we traveled. Shuttle drivers very nice.

In a room now, reported excessive noise to Customer Services, they said "We will look into it" They have not called back, or offered to move me to a quieter room its been 3 hours, and the noise is still horrible and its 1pm in the afternoon. Sleeping here will be impossible. This was my go to place in KC for the past 10 years, but after this experience, its my last stay at this location

The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our room was not so great. The plumbing In our room was extremely bad. The shower sink and toilet were backed up the 2 nights we were there. Maintenance came and did their best but the issue couldn't be resolved. The staff is what makes this place ❤
