Had to stay here for job training, lost 10 pounds after trying to survive off of their "vegan accomodations" the other food they provided for my coworkers was often undercooked and super salty. Costs $5 to use the washer and dryer that is if the dryer drys your clothes the first time, I wasn't that lucky. Staff was very unapologetic. They were much nicer to the real guests but felt I wasn't worthy of that treatment. Staff also was not enforcing the mask mandate during breakfast which was really concerning, I came here to be better at my job, not to get sick. Jennifer was super nice though, thanks for treating me like a real human!

We thought the room was fine, until we went to take a shower. IT WAS NOT CLEAN! A 1/3 used bar of soap and shampoo were still sitting there from someone before us. Disgusting. This was AFTER we slept there. I assumed the sheets were clean, but who knows. I have stayed in shady motels before...NEVER had this before. I paid $250 for this room. I'd be very leery of staying here.

Had the basic necessities but not cleaned well. The room had everything you’d need for a nights stay but when you look around it shows it’s not well taken care of. We noticed stains on curtains, lamp shades and a lot on the carpets. The outlet next the bed did not work so we had no lamp with the chargers on them. The bathroom was stocked but also had 2 small bugs in the shower. Complementary breakfast was decent and the bartender was very polite and professional. For the price I think you could get a better hotel experience.

Room was clean. A little dated and dark. We arrived after 10 pm and couldn't find any carts to unload car or anyone to help and we had equipment that we were concerned would be stolen so we parked in the very front of the hotel. The restaurant and bar were closed and only a pantry for food. So we ate chips for dinner. The next morning it was a completely different place, with people offering to help everywhere and breakfast was great. Easy access to the airport.

The service at this location was very good, but I had a LOT of major issues with my room. I stayed in room 311, and it reeked of cigarette smoke. It was so bad that it permeated through my close, and my team thought I had been smoking. To be fair, the rest of my team (4 people/4rooms) had no issues with their room. Our team had an event with the State Governor, 2 Congressmen, a Senator, City Mayor, and other dignitaries, so I needed to iron a shirt for the event but the iron had some black melted material on it which destroyed my shirt when I attemptedto iron my shirt because you could not see the black material due to the black iron plate. Then, just to add insult to injury, I jumped into the shower to later find out the body soap dispenser was 100% empty. 😡 Yes, I reported all of this stuff, but of course, there is nothing much they could do for me. I was too tired and too busy to change rooms, they offered to pay for a new shirt if I would go buy it and bring the receipt but my event was in a few hours and nothing was open at 6am. Hopefully, if you go you'll have a better experience.

This is a "ZERO" star hotel! It is simply worthless. I hope the doors here close since they refuse to address the need to renovate. Notice in all the reviews - they pretend to apologize and do nothing obviously. So don't apologize here GM - FIX YOUR HOTEL The Assistant Manager is RUDE! And very unprofessional. The hotel is FILTHY! We checked in and there was food on the floor in the room from a prior guest, sewage smell in the bathroom, stained curtains and things under the bed. Gross. The rooms are beyond dated. The carpet had real dust and definitely had not been cleaned. Pretty much what you see on the website is NOT the truth. This is a poor excuse for a Hilton. We checked out and left two items - Was told to call and leave a message for housekeeping. I live out of state and 3 weeks later still no call. This is a pitiful environment for an Embassy Suites brand - DO NOT STAY HERE. There are (2) new hotels - Home2Suites & Holiday Inn nearby. Much better quality. Oh and breakfast here is sub par as well.

We were in town for a wedding and this is our new favorite place to stay when we come to Kansas City. Our room was perfect, clean and stocked. The Associates at the desk were pleasant and informative. We were checked in quickly. Gift shop was stocked with a good variety. We loved the breakfast. plenty of choices for our young kids, plenty of seating. All of the Associates we encountered were so nice, even when our kiddo spilled his orange juice.

This is not a let's go relax hotel. It hosts several parties, sport tournaments, ect. Every floor ha kids running around. Was there a happy hour with free drinks and food, yes. Probably kept the adults sane. Extremely small pool, and no hot tub. Overall it's probably the best spot to take a kids birthday or rent several rooms for your teams. But definitely not a, hey let's get away from kids for the night hotel. Staff could have easily got a 5 star, nothing really happened with them at the front desk bit rooms were not the best and I put that on housekeeping, but still very well maintained

Where do I start… check in time was extremely too long. One person working the counter. As a diamond member you are supposed to received certain benefits upon checkin. I had to ask for certain benefits and my status was not acknowledged. Also once checked into the room, I noticed that my microwave was black inside as of something caught on fire. I notified the front desk 3 different times and was promised each time that it would be replaced; this never happened. Embassy suites are known for their manager’s happy hour, but this particular hotel doesn’t ensure there is enough snacks for their guest. The rooms are dingy and the currents are dirty. Also on my last night I noticed that there were lady bugs in my room. If your considering hotels to stay at in Missouri, try a different hotel.

Vehicle broken into while security guard on duty and vehicle parked with camera pointing right at it. I had all my business items stolen over $25,000 worth and my associate had over $15,000 worth. Two windows smashed and cameras nor guard saw or noticed a thing. If this property cannot protect its patrons better a person should not risk staying here. Either they have some inside crooks working for them or they are failing in their execution of safety for their patrons.

This is the worst Hilton property I have ever experienced. When we arrived given the first room it was bad. The furniture was very dirty and no mattress covers, it looked like an old dirty motel. We were moved to another room and it was worse. There was a bug on the floor and when we inspected the pullout bed where my son was going to sleep there was blood on the mattress. I have pictures. It was horrible.

We thought everyone was suppose to wear mask unless they were eating or drinking. Overall we had a great time for my birthday and New Year Eve.

Not a bad place at all, it was clean, and the amenities were absolutely wonderful, they had someone making fresh omelets and eggs on site, had a bar and grill in the hotel. They let me use on of their board rooms free of charge for some business I had. The cons- room service could have been a little more on point instead of waiting t until 5 to service the room. The female bartender got mad when I asked why half my beer was foam and if I could just have a bottle instead, other than that, it was a great trip, great spot, and a great hotel.

I like the Embassy Suites hotel chain ... normally, but this one has problems.  When I drove up I could tell it was an older hotel.  I imagine that when it was new, it was a beauty.  But now it's outdated inside and out.  I'm not a road warrior, but I do stay in a lot of hotels and I think it has to be hard to keep up with remodeling and technology.   Rooms need remodeling too.  Staff service was good.

Plus, one on animal urine is stinky right when you walk in. It's 345 pm and our room is still not ready. parking pass fees not waived by mgmnt or no discount. I'm on vacation wasting time sitting in the urine lobby. Go somewhere else if you can. Update waited from 315pm to 415 pm and was told 30 more minutes until our room was ready, I asked for a discount and was told I get no discount for third party purchase of room. Had a four hour drive to hotel and a full day planned. I was let down and hard. When I returned I went to the pool which had no towels, the front desk gave me tub floor mats to dry off with, yuck what kind of place is this. Bfst was just ok french toast was stale along with the biscuits. I'll keep my rating it's the price to expectation ratio I didn't go to a motel 6 for a reason but got one anyway.

I was here for a convention; the lobby, convention rooms, and bathrooms were all great. Our actual room was on the 8th floor and was hot/muggy the entire time we were there despite running the AC, however, the hotel staff was friendly and brought us a box fan. This greatly helped. Everything was clean and clearly well taken care of.

We used the Embassy Suites to host a formal event recently. Words fail to express how impressed I was with the wait and event staff. Mike was the event staff lead and his support was exceptional. He assisted our event planners and fulfilled every request. It was refreshing to see such a dedicated team: something uncommon in today's workforce. The food quality also exceeded expectations and was delivered on time and at the perfect temperature. Please consider using this location for any future formal or event needs. You will not be disappointed.

Refrigerator is nasty and not very cold. Air Conditioner does not run at night. Woke up sweaty. Water does not get hot in sink. Only 1 of 2 sinks water runs. Furniture needs repair and is outdated. TV’s are outdated and small. They advertise feather pillows. There are none. Otherwise a great hotel.

  • 2/5 Kaylee O. 8 months ago on Google
From the entrance the hotel looks to be a very nice hotel. But once we arrived in our room you could immediately smell animal urine. As if it wasn’t cleaned properly. The bath tub wouldn’t drain. The shower rod was broken. The “complementary” soaps that were left in the shower were empty. There was no hand soap at ANY of the sinks. When we went down to the hotel bar/restaurant my husband and I sat there for 20min and were never greeted or served. For the price of the hotel a night you would think the rooms would be better kept.

Great value for the family! When I come to town I take my grandchildren to a Hilton property. We have stayed at all the Embassy Suites in the KC area, none can match the service here. When we returned to this property My grandchildren said this is our favorite. Great pool and happy hour!

If you’re driving a car and you don’t want it covered with a thick layer of dirt and asphalt, don’t stay here. If you’d like to be able to breathe while you’re walking through a parking lot, don’t stay here. If you want a room that has not been updated since the 80s, definitely stay here. If you don’t drink coffee or you don’t care of the coffee maker in your room works this place may be just the place for you. If you want to pay $26 for tough over cooked salmon, this will be a good place for you. And who knows the last time the mirrors were cleaned. It’s just overall a very gross place. I even messaged the hotel to let them know about the things that I was upset about and they didn’t even respond. I won’t be staying here ever again.

The hotel isn't bad at all but our rooms weren't stocked. There was no shower gel and for two beds and a pull out couch you would think they would put at least have more than two towels and two wash cloths and one hand towel. It took so long to get our shower stuff we were late for the managers drinks and snacks so I didn't get any food.

This place is in much need of a renovation. Rooms smell like cigarette smoke. You feel like you walked back into the 1980s. I would not suggest this place to stay. Mold in the stairwell. Look for something newer. Service on the other hand, absolutely over-the-top. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Not what I expect from an Embassy Suite. First, I time for a remodel or upgrade of the rooms. Second, the room was dirty. Is it to much to ask for a clean bathroom. I opened the floor mat and there was Jaír on it. There was a foot print on the floor in the bathroom so obviously no mop has been used in this floor. Won’t be back.

Was supposed to arrive on 10/16/23 but flight got cancelled. Receptionist i spoke to that evening assisted me with changing my reservation and also allow my guest to check in before i had arrived the day following when I was able to fly in. The were very helpful, respectful, understanding and patient while assisting me. Always have been greeted and treated with hospitality at all my stays with the Embassy and other Hilton chains.

Pros - 1.The location to KCI is great. 2. The chef cooking the omelet station was fun and created anything you wanted. 3. Colleen at the front was nice and helpful Cons: There is a pool, but no hot tub. The pool was very cold for being indoors and a tad cloudy. Rooms are slightly outdated, but beds and couches were comfortable.

Good place to stay. Rooms are a bit dated.Friendly service. Breakfast is made to order, definitely a benefit for traveling families.

All of the employees are amazing! The hotel was more than accommodating to me and my family. We did have a small issue when we pulled out the pullout bed. That issue was quickly fixed. The breakfast was great and the hotel was clean! The only sad part was the jacuzzi was removed. Would we do to or to stay here? Absolutely! We are already planning out next trip.

Very nice and clean room. It had everything we needed including a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The complimentary drinks were excellent! Breakfast was good but nothing special. Service was great! The shuttle to and from the airport was prompt and very convenient. It was a very nice start to our vacation for our 25th anniversary.

Dom in the bar was excellent! A really good Margarita. We visited the first weekend of Spring break. The kids were like Lord of the Flys breaking into tribes. Some people were complaining that the kids were up until 5:00 am keeping them from sleeping. Apparently they did not call the desk or complain. Not the hotels fault. Nice rooms. Dated but clean.

Just attended a banquet here. First the guy that waited on our table was excellent. Very attentive and helpful. Everyone at our table had chicken except me. They all seemed very happy with their food. I have allergies and am vegan. There was a vegan alternative offered so I ordered that. I was served a few vegetables and what I think was a black bean burger patty on a tomato sauce. The veggies were delicious, but the sauce was way too salty. Because of allergies I needed to know what was in the black bean burger. "JP" said he'd find out for me but he never came back to the table. Probably ok since the patty was cold and hard as a rock anyway - not appetizing at all. The dessert looked delicious but it wasn't vegan either. Long story, short? If you have a special diet, don't eat here!

Embassy Suites holds a special place in my heart as being the location my family would go for birthdays growing up in the 90’s. My family recreated those memories this past weekend for my moms 70th birthday. The hotel hasn’t changed much since the 90’s and seemed dated. Another disappointment was no whirlpool. The description said there was one and the pool area denotes there being a whirlpool. The breakfast was still as good as I remembered it back in the days. Overall it was great to relive some memories but for the price, I expected the hotel to be a bit nicer with more upgrades to rooms and overall feel.

Customer Service was AWESOME! We accidentally dropped my daughter’s zebra “lovie” as we were walking out the door to leave and she was absolutely devastated when we couldn’t fine it. Connie and Danielle have both been so patient and kind and have gone above and beyond to make sure we get it back. Rooms were also quiet and clean and everyone we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again when we are in town.

Hotel rooms were clean, supplies available when needed. Wait staff and bartenders were friendly. Food from restaurant menu was good. The banquet food was mediocre, meats were dry and hard, bread was stale. The only thing good was fhe dessert. Front desk staff were not friendly, and pretty unhelpful when there was a line formed to checkout. No one realized we could just deposit our keycards at the desk and were left to stand there for 10 minutes. It was even stated we were all checking out!

The motel was nice to view, disappointed with the room we had. The refrigerator was slimy gross, the walls in the bedroom area was dirty, the price that was paid for one night should have complimentary internet but instead charged per phone or tablet being used per day. I doubt we will stay at another embassy or hilton again.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites for 5 nights. Due to an emergency I needed very late check in. The night desk clerk was accommodating and had my room key ready for me at 6am. My room was clean and much larger than I expected. The daily complimentary breakfast was always fresh and good. I appreciated the freshly made omelettes. The employees were having a gingerbread house decorating contest with guests choosing the winner. That sort of idea makes an out of town visitor feel at home. The style of hotel with the center closed courtyard is my favorite architectural style hotel. They always feel safe and give a sense of community to guests. Very good stay at a nice hotel.

We have stayed here a number of times over the years when coming to Kansas city. We love the size of the rooms and the breakfast in the morning. We used to love to sit in the hot tub; however, they have gotten rid of the hot tub. Rooms are becoming dated but everything is always clean.

Staff was Amazing!!! Thank you Eddie, Shawn, and Sandy. Airport shuttle super convenient. Bus stop also located across the street to go downtown which is only a 30 minute ride. They have a full free breakfast. Cooks and servers were really pleasant. They made Omelettes, pancakes, home fries, fruit, biscuits and gravy. Etc… Room was clean but older and their was a flood in my bathroom.

Had a quick one night stay, but had a great experience. We got in late & Shawna at the front desk greeted us, grabbed us some waters, & was so friendly. The room was comfortable & the hotel was clean. Breakfast the next morning was great. Excellent experience.

Front desk was rude upon arrival, we were given the wrong room that we booked, the room was not cleaned, dirty sheets left in bed, dirty towels left in bathroom as well as hair in the sink and floor, we had to change the sheets on the bed ourselves, we found a cup that had boogers in it( it was beyond disgusting) even took it with me to the front desk and they just gave us new sheets. The lady at check out was rude and I explained our stay to her and they gave us points but that does us now good when we never stay in hotels. They didn't offer a refund or discount. We paid $239 for 1 night and it was horrible. Absolutely regret staying at this hotel, I have stayed at $90 hotels that treat you better and have cleaner rooms then this hotel had.

I normally love Embassy Suites but this time around the stay was not the best. I understand the staff shortages right now, and how burnt out everyone is BUT the room was not cleaned. There were fingernail clippings and pills on the floor. I found hairs in the bed.. I called for new clean sheets and the new ones smelt like they have been sitting in a musty cellar. I can only imagine what else isn’t clean. I found a headphone case, and if the room was swept and cleaned, this item would have been found. I had to buy disinfectant spray and wipes to feel like it was a little clean. I asked for a pack and play at the check in and they said they would bring it up. 5 hours later, no pack and play. Upon calling, the woman at the front desk said they didn’t have one. I pushed a little harder and they then, had one available. I don’t think the cocktail hour is worth it for the issues I’ve had. Our entire stay was over $600 and it was not worth it. I think I’ll stick with their sister chain in the future.

The staff were great. Dom in the bar restaurant was really a cut above. Briley working the front desk was extremely accommodating. A good place to be for the stays before a flight. The shuttle drivers go the extra mile, so to speak. The bed was comfortable- I generally only sleep 5 hours, every night I have stayed here has been 8+ Which is really really rare.

Great Hotel & great rooms! Had an issue with my fridge but it did keep things cool. Sticky floors, might be their cleaner. Would be better if they rinsed the floor after the cleaner. But the room was awesome! A lot of staff helped with our event & that is appreciated!
