Watts Mill Park

Park

👍 It has a cute little sitting area near Jasper's Italian restaurant. A quiet little spot where you can gather your thoughts.

WOW! WHAT A GREAT LITTLE HIDDEN GEM... I guess it's not hidden but I say that because for 3 years I have lived within 5 miles of this wonderfully beautiful place. I didn't get to explore everything there is to offer here but i will be back soon to do so..

Beautiful park! Only wish I had brought my sneakers with me so I could have gotten closer to the waterfall

A sort of quiet place tucked into a busy area. A good spot to take you lunch and watch the water flow by. The rocks are pretty cool. Be careful when it rains. The creek is prone to flooding.

This is a very beautiful park, but the upkeep is horrible. There were loads of trash piled up, and it wasn't a weekend. It's nearby several large venues, so I can't understand how this is being missed. I can only assume those nearby venues are taking their trash here instead of the long walk to their own dumpster. It's terrible. There are parts that have become inaccessible due to collapsing landscapes, but you can actually still get to it if you don't mind climbing. Overall, still worth the walk and visit. Also, the sign entrance to the park is not accurate. That is not the phone number or website to reach them, so that also shows how often they actually come here.

Started going here several months ago when Sun Fresh Market in the Red Bridge Shopping Center closed. Usually has fresh and available product as well as items available at weekly and daily discounts!

One of the best nature-based parks in KC. No playground, or any activities for kids, but a great place to sit and relax. Small waterfalls are very nice.
