Short version - 👍 I would eat here again. Long version - what I liked the most was the service. Service was very good. Location and parking was good too. Chips were too my liking, not too thin, not too thick, and crunchy. The salad was okay, not bad, not great. The carne asada taco, rice, and beans was a bit lacking/bland. I enjoyed the asada fries and the chicken quesadilla. The chicken quesadilla was shredded chicken, not chunks of chicken, in case this is a deal breaker for someone out there. There’s booths and tables, and also a bar. There’s lots of TVs setup with sports on. I would recommend trying this place if you’re in the area.

I love Amigos. The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious, served quickly from friendly servers who always smile. I'm there every week. We just had our Birthday party there. They were so accommodating. T he food was set up and ready to serve when we walked in. Hot fresh and SO good. Check the photos. We had an awesome time. Did I say I love this place and the staff? I DO. We had the taco bar, queso dip, enchiladas(my fav) and all the fixings.

Hours on the front of the business say 8pm on Sundays. But at 7:30pm they quit serving food. Actually I was told I could order online then a different worker said everything was already turned off on the grill. Sucks because I would go here at least once a week, but I won’t spend my money at any establishment that can’t stay open like they say. Hell Margaritas closes at 7pm on Sunday and was still popping at 8:00pm. I’ll drive 10 more minutes so I know I get to eat!!

My new favorite Mexican restaurant! Super good food, great drinks, and the service is fast. I waited for no more than 10min for my food to come out.

Love the buffalo wings and I’m not sure whose making the margaritas but they are 🔥 especially the strawberry 🍓

My family and I go here often. The food is always amazing. If you've been to Houston Mexican restaurants you'll know what this place is. Food is very fresh.

Got a large bowl of chips that must of been at the bottom of the bag because they were all crumbled up. Got a 3 taco plate original with beef. The beef was saturated with grease dripping all over my plate and was nasty. The rice was bland and the refried beans taste like it was out of a can. It's not worth coming back to.

We go there virtually every Tuesday. Best tacos ever. Best wait staff. Clean, tasty, and affordable.

There is nothing that I don't like about this place. We've had Anna as a server several times and she is amazing! She's kind, attentive, and never fails to be great be amazing at what she does! Thank you Anna for always doing such a great job! My husband and I appreciate you.

-Promptly seated -Greeted immediately, and in a friendly manner. -Chips and salsa were brought out right away, along with taking beverage and food order. -Promptly refilled chips and salsa -Food was brought out quickly - both burrito dishes were plenty and delicious(great job, cooks!). -Loved how the televisions weren’t blaring NFL games on a Sunday so we could hold a normal decibel-level conversation. -Facilities were clean, as well. -Everything about this establishment is fantastic. Would eat at again when we travel through!

I'have been wanting to go to this Mexican place for a long time that used to be at another location that I had went too long ago it was pretty good and had their tacos have three of them with rice and beans and they mostly work deep fried corn shell maybe next time I'll get them in flour the white queso dip was a bit watery we had that for the appetizer mostly the atmosphere is more like a sports bar with TVs playing sports and the portions are really actually as big as El Porto's it is also a Mexican place would go back to sometime it is below from El Porto's.

The second, and last time I eat at Amigos. Felt like I was going to vomit for abt 6 hours after eating here. The people who think this place is good are the same people that think Modelo is good beer.

The last few times we’ve came in we’ve went to order tamales only to be approach later on (AFTER WE’VE ORDERED) to say they’re out of tamales. Now I can understand if it happens once, but this is a third time it has happened. You would think the waiting staff will be knowledgeable of this, or the restaurant will be prepared and make more. Besides that one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in Kansas City. you got to try the amigo dip! Love having dinner parties here.

Great food. Business was very understaffed. Our waitress still made the best of it. Will come back. Hopefully they hire more people to help.

the food was ok. I had the worst server. this is the second time we've had her and both times I left feeling frustrated. she was slow, disorganized couldn't get the order right. our table was a mess as when we ordered another drink or chips she just piled it on the table. I asked her to clear some of the mess but she just walked away. I asked for chips and salsa to go. waited a long time but nothing. I complained to the manager who told me my chips and salsa wold be free but when I got my bill....there it was. when I go out it's to relax and enjoy....this server is horrid and apparently it's ok with management. I will go back because the food is good and inconveniently located but I refuse to sit in Shelly's area ever again! ugh

Amigos is the perfect Tex-Mex spot. I came in during a week night and was able to order and have my food brought out very quickly. My waitress was Kylei and she was friendly, made great food suggestions and checked on our table frequently to ensure our dining experience was up to par.

Food was great once I finally got it. 8 meals at 3 different tables ordered after me came out before mine did. Waitress didn't take responsibility for not following through. I messaged through Facebook with my complaint and they answered with an apology and said they would follow up with staff.

I have been a here a couple of times. The salsa is good, but the carne asada tacos barely has any meat for both of the lunch plates. I'll go back again, but hopefully the portion size improves.

Honestly just giving it 2 stars because the quesadillas were good. The rice definitely was not fresh. We ordered over the phone to pick up and the woman who answered had an attitude from the beginning…. My husband picked up the food, he didn’t know what was supposed to be in it. We unpacked the bag and our full size order of amigo dip wasn’t in there. No big deal but when I called back the same woman again had an attitude and told me that she put it in the white bag. I double checked, it was just rice, so I told her this and she continued with “well I know I put it in there”… obviously not. The attitude continued and I just gave up, my husband went back to get the dip. What a waste of time, gas and money. If the dip wasn’t almost $8 I wouldn’t have bothered. Don’t recommend this place.

Starting with the thin, warm, crispy chips with delicious salsas, then delightful service and great atmosphere, our food came quickly and was very tasty. Plus, the pricing on the daily specials is nicely affordable. We’ll definitely be back! It was a pleasant surprise.

$5 10” burrito Monday special. It was as awesome as it looks. Ground beef was very tasty and I loved the seasoning.

I was invited to a Birthday Party at Amigos. This was my my first time there. I ordered the Chili Rellenos Traditional Red. It was Amazing. The portion was enough to fill me up and I still was able to have enough to take home for lunch. I Love This Place

I was not impressed with the portions. The flavor was ok... But coming from San Antonio Texas... You could just taste the difference.. I might be back... I mean that is a half..and that cost 4 bucks hmmm

Ordered for pickup. Food was good and flavorful. I thought the portions were a good size. I was pretty stuffed.
