I lived here for a year and overall the place is nicely updated but overpriced in my opinion. I was at 209 from Oct 2019 to Feb 2021 and the management has changed probably 5+ times over my time there and I would not say they are the friendliest people to deal with. There is not much in terms of street parking because it fills up fast. If you want a spot in the lot there is often a wait list and it costs an extra $115 a month. I lived on the second floor and ever since the city worked on the water main a few months ago I had debris clogging all of my faucets. Management was slow sending maintenance to fix the issue (they left me without water over a holiday weekend). Oftentimes my online requests would be closed without any work actually being done. On a positive note the people living in the building are friendly. A week before I was scheduled to move out I woke up to my apartment flooded! Management was quick to respond to the issue. Unfortunately the clean-up job was not great. I had to leave for work and I assumed I would come home to my rug damp but with the majority of the water out. I was shocked to come home to a rug that was so soaked it sloshed when I stepped on it. They hadn't even bothered to move my couch off the rug to dry it. To top it off, I just received my deposit back which should have been the full $300 because when I completed the exit inspection with the manager she told me that "everything looked good!" They kept $100 of it because of “pet hair.” I used my Dyson right before I left so I am not sure I believe that excuse. How much more pet hair are you getting up after I run the Dyson?!

She made the move-in process a breeze, guiding me through all the necessary steps with patience and clarity. Her attention to detail and genuine care for residents' needs were evident as she took the time to address my questions and concerns. In short, Cassie has played an integral role in making my living experience here truly exceptional.

Got recommended to tour here by a friend of mine and I can’t wait to live here! Cassie was AMAZING, letting me tour this afternoon and getting me set up for when my lease is up. 10/10 customer service can’t wait to live here!!

I lived here two years and have had a great experience. Only moving for a new location. I felt safe, it’s pretty quiet and any maintenance issues were fixed very quickly. Would recommend!

No clear communication with administration. I sent multiple emails to report that I was leaving but no reply or instructions whatsoever. Also parking fee is apart is not included in rent. They were not clear up front. Building is old but renovated. Elevators frequently do not work well. Maintenance system work well though. Nice location but overpriced for what they offer.

Cassie did a wonderful job showing us around and answering all questions. She was very easy to work with. The apartment was fantastic and we moved the location.

Chelli was beyond amazing in helping me find the perfect space for my needs and went out of her way to ensure all my questions were answered. I was incredibly impressed at how well-maintained all of the Bourgmont properties were -- every location I viewed was being actively cleaned and updated in preparation for the next tenant, and the wonderful treatment from Chelli as a leasing agent truly solidified my decision to apply for Plaza 209! A wonderful experience so far, highly recommend checking them out!

Just signed our second lease at Plaza 209! We absolutely love being so close to the Plaza and Nelson Atkins lawn. The apartment itself has awesome upgraded appliances, floors, counter tops, and bathrooms. The owner just needs to upgrade the hallway carpet and I’d have no complaints! New Property Manager (Allie) does a great job - very personable and is quick to respond. Highly recommend checking it out!
