If you call your doctor he will say he is in network. If you call Briarcliff Surgery Center or ask them in person...they will say they are in network. However, I got a $700 bill from the anesthesiologist saying he was not in network. I guess you need a clipboard so that every single person who touches you can sign off that they are in network. The receptionist who said that everything was in network the day of my procedure conveniently does not work there anymore. I had a witness. I also wrote across my paperwork at admission that everything must be in network. That page has conveniently disappeared. They will send you a survey before you get the bill saying you owe out of network costs. Beware...

Wonderful, clean facility with friendly staff

I recently went in for surgery with Dr. Singhal at Briarcliff Surgery Center. The staff were all very welcoming, caring and put your at ease in every moment. I really was impressed with them following up with a call after surgery to make sure I was being taken care of and healing ok. The whole process was very easy!

Had a procedure there today! All Staff was great and big shout out to my Anesthesia doc, Karen, my fellow Michigander. Thanks for all you do as healthcare providers!

My son just had surgery at Briarcliff Surgery Center & I can't say enough nice things about the staff! The front office ladies were nice, knowledgeable & efficient. The nursing staff was outstanding!! They made sure to answer all of our questions and had amazing bedside manner. Of course, the cost of surgery, anesthesia, etc was not cheap, but that definitely depends upon your insurance. Be sure to ask how much every aspect of the procedure & care is going to cost and what will be covered. For example, the anesthesiologist bills separately from the surgeon and from the surgical center. Would definitely use this facility again, if needed.

I have nothing but good comments to make on Briarclliff Surgery Center, My family's first time going to this Surgical Center, My Son needed Cataract Surgery, but was going to have to be Sedated as he is Autistic, Everyone was Great with him and very Caring and professional, I Mom, and of course Dad too, was very Nervous as Our Son is already Legally Blind in his Right eye from an Accident in 1996, and now was having to have Surgery on a Cataract in his Left Eye. He got excellent care, and day after his Surgery Dr tells us his Left Eye has 20/25 which he said, is excellent this Early after the Surgery, Have gotten 3 follow up calls from the staff to check on our Son. Would Highly recommend for outpatient Surgery.
