This hospital is staffed with unprofessional and incompetent individuals who failed to treat my injury appropriately. The nursing staff doesn’t follow through on the doctors orders and they are unwilling to work with you when you are in pain after they send you home empty handed. I would not advise anyone to ever go to this hospital if they have a choice. When I called back in order to seek relief I was told to take ibuprofen which for a broken toe is absolutely ineffective! The doctor never checked his work with the stitches and I had to bandage my own wound because they had clearly forgotten about me. One does not normally shoot himself in the foot in order to get pain medicine and when I asked for something with out Tylenol that’s exactly what I got so not only do they not listen, but they do not care about the patients.me Make the drive to Overland Park or KU med and save your self the agony of dealing with this staff of rude individuals. Broken toe with a pellet lodged in it and they say take Motrin. Even someone who isn’t a doctor knows that is completely moronic. So much for putting the patients needs first. If giving them zero stars was an option I would have. Thanks for nothing research medical center. I’m still bleeding profusely and the best they could offer was to come back and pay again. Quite pathetic if you ask me!

0 stars them people took my insurance and kicked me out I was in a car accident Dave burning, legs bruised up. I did a X-ray and was told everything was fine just bruised they didn't clean my leg up. I went home, leg still bloody face still burning. They didn't even attempt to look at my face nor clean it.terrible service and attitude. The X-ray tech was mean old and grumpy. The guy nurse was pleasant to speak with

They rushed us out didn't check for the things at need to be checked like high blood pressure and COVID test or the flu. The people there seemed like they did not care. I will never go back there again and I would not let my family go there either. Not a good hospital

Quick, supportive service from kind informative staff! They were efficient and Dr. Patel and staff ran my tests, listened to me and came to prompt diagnosis of my UTI and palpitations!

My technician for the mammogram and bone density test was excellent! The check in process was NOT! Though I arrived early for my 10:00 appointment it took 30-40 minutes to check in. Only one person at the desk and she was working as fast as she could. I have come to this facility for about 30 years for these tests and it's generally been smooth and easy in the past. This needs to be rectified! I will likely be going elsewhere in the future. 1 star for check in, 5 stars for my health care professional.

My check in was great. I was actually early and the only person in Registration. My technician was wonderful. She made me feel very comfortable through the process. She shared her years of experience . I am satisfied with the great service I received. Thank you

I always get right in, and the staff is excellent. I recently had to be admitted. I had to travel by medical transport to the main hospital. It really is a pain, but it's worth it to me because I get such good care, unlike the ER at the main hospital. I highly recommend this location.

I gave 2 stars because anytime I visit this ER I have an acceptable experience. But today in the ER was horrible. I came in about 10:30am. Checkin was fine. The problem was when I made it to my room. My nurse and doctor's name both was Emily. They didn't come in the room until 12:15is. They didn't show any compassion or any sign that they cared I was in pain. When the doctor Emily came in, we were going over what was wrong and she abruptly left the room saying she had a phone call. Didn't come back in for 30 minutes (I'm not exaggerating). When she finally came back in she did the same thing again (left the room). At that point I called the number for complaints and left a message. About 10 minutes later the Nurse Emily came in and tried to start an iv. She wasn't paying attention and said that she blew my iv. I immediately told her to get someone else. She shrugged her shoulders and said it'll be a longer wait. I was sent home with no pain meds and Emily said they don't give out pain meds in the ER.

I waited 10 minutes to be seen and then was back in a room quickly. Staff members and nurses were all very kind. The admitting nurse was pretty gruff/ didn't really greet me or make me feel at ease in any way but she was the first person i saw so maybe she is just kind of like all business? Would def return if I needed ED care.

Very easy to make an appointment and once I got there I was assisted immediately. Had my mammogram almost immediately after signing in at the front desk. Everyone was very nice.

The lady who took care of me, did a good job. She explained everything that I had asked her about. Also I didn't have to wait. That is why I love going to Research Medical Center.

Initially walking into the ER I didn't feel like the guy behind the desk cared that I was obviously in distress, and didn't offer up any help. However, the nurses who immediately took me back and started caring for me were amazing. Very attentive and quick with everything they were doing. The doctor was there quickly as well and was great at making sure my pain was being managed and I understood what was happening.

Both the front desk staff and my mammogram tech were professional and courtesy. Research at Brookside is very clean and orderly. I have always gone there for my mammogram, to see my primary care, and my ENT specialist. It is a great facility.

From check-in to the completion of my mammogram everything at Research Medical Center Brookside Campus was excellent! I have been going here for 5 years and they are always prompt, professional, and sincere. Allison is a great radiologist and I appreciate her so much.

I have already written my Google review. I come to brookside often because I have endometriosis and occasional flares that are sometimes unbearable. My last visit was rushed. The nurse didn't explain anything to me when it came time to collect specimen. Didn't offer blanket at all, was extremely cold in there not comfortable when you are balled up in pain. No one at all asked me if I was ok or comfortable with a male dr doing a pelvic exam at all. No pain medication was offered just localized lidocaine for the shot I had to get for a diagnosis they weren't even sure I had yet. Absolutely ridiculous!

The Nurses are so kind and sweet. And they have some of the best Doctors in the area. I’ve never had a bad experience. They are not just healthcare professionals, they’re passionate about helping individuals. Traveling above and beyond to help you be well.

My physicial therapy is very helpful. Rhe staff is very courteoous, professional, and friendly. The therapist sends me home with handouts and strategies on how to improve my health.

Everything was very good, especially the x-ray technician whose name I did not catch but she was a beautiful young lady great personality friendly outgoing and professional I took my CT scan at the Brookside campus.

The technician was very friendly and treated me with dignity and respect she was really gentle and I even received a call about my results. I had a 3D Mammogram

From the minute I got to the Brookside campus until I left, each of the individuals that helped me were awesome. The check in person (I believe her name was Angie) went the extra mile to insure I was comfortable and offered to come to me in the waiting area so I did not have to walk, due to my back pain. Frank, Heidi, and Jamie all showed compassion when assisting, explaining and doing the mammogram and bone density scan. The visit was quick and very pleasant. Thank you.

I loved the lady at the front desk. She couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful in making sure she zipped through the forms. I came early and they were able to get me in early. The mammo tech was so sweet and careful. And gentle! I really appreciated her professionalism yet warm demeanor.

All the nurses were awesome! I enjoyed the experience. Wish I needed another surgery!!

The staff at the Brookside location are great ! They were genuinely concerned about me. When they found out that my appointment had been booked at the wrong location, they called to correct the matter, and got me in to have the procedure done that day. My waiting time was only 15 minutes. I truly appreciate their efforts because I was able to see my doctor and get the procedure done in one day rather than two. Thank you !

Overall a great experience. The front desk was welcoming and very polite. After filing out my paperwork they came to explain the next step in my process. Within a few minutes a nurse came to take me to do my cat scan. She made sure I was comfortable and well covered as she placed the leads. Which I greatly appreciated!!

Very personable and efficient staff who answered my questions. Clean facility conveniently located to parking lot. I especially appreciate that they adhere to the scheduled time of appointment. I had results from test within three days. Also very nice. I would recommend them.

Let me start that the following issue is not limited to RMC Brookside but is shared by the entire medical system that has become pretty unmanageable for the individual patient. Now, that most places belong to a huge corporation, it has become a real torture to do something as simple as making an appointment. First, you need to provide your entire information to someone who says, clearly, that they merely take information and pass it on. Then, with luck, the scheduling people actually contact the patient. I say with luck, because if I do not happen to be available when they call, the entire process starts all over again since the new system has only an answering service and one can never reach directly the department or the physician that one really needs. Let me be crude--the system stinks and until people wake up to it and demand a real health reform, everything will get more and more complicated, more and more cumbersome, and more and more patient-un-friendly. Horrid, really. Apologies to the nice people at RMC Brookside--this is emphatically not a personal review and no malice intended. It is simply an observation on the entire health system which cries for a major reform.

I have been a patient in the Brookside PT program for rehab from 4 surgeries. I had knee surgery and a rotator cuff repair and 2 lumbar back surgeries. I have had 3 therapists I would like to thank for my wonderful rehab experiences they are Glenn, Pam and Mary Jane. They are awesome, kind, compassionate and caring. Currently I am doing aqua therapy and I think it is very helpful. I hope to not need therapy in my future but I would definitely recommend Brookside Rehabilitation.

I was greeted with a smile behind that mask! There was a person before my turn that was experiencing some problems and I was going to be a little late in being escorted in for my actual appointment. Someone came out to assure me about my appointment time and was so pleasant. And then a few mins later they came out to get me! I hardly waited at all. And in my CT I think it was Shannon? Was super professional, reassuring and pleasant to chat with. Another RN, came in also and we had a sweet chat too. My ct was fast and a little sting with the contrast but not bad at all. I was out of there so fast! And results were all good! Thank you for great service!

When I walked in, the security guard was pleasant and helpful. The charge nurse who took my vitals was efficient and understanding. The room was clean and the room nurse was kind and worked to generally put me at ease. The nurse practitioner was quick and resourceful. I'll be coming here from now on. Thanx guys!

My wife was checked in through the ER. The doctor there was real nice. When she was moved to a room, the nurses did not take very good care of her, did not give her water, and left her mostly alone all night long. She was hooked up to an IV and the cord was not long enough to reach the bathroom. She needed assistance to walk but no one was there to answer her call. We were very disappointed with the service the first two days. After that, the nurses were better and the service improved.

The check in and pre-registration process were simple by phone and in person. I did have trouble accessing the online option. I prefer the human interaction and the person who took my information was friendly and professional. My mammogram tech was amazing and the facility was very clean.

I really enjoy going to this Dr.'s Office. They are so on point and there is never any real wait time. My type of service. I've already recommended my mother and father. Keep on ROCKING With GREATNESS!!

It was very fast and efficient care. The nurses were polite and so was the doctor. I was there for maybe 30mins about my wrist. I didn't receive any unnecessary tests which I'm happy about and I found out what was causing my pain.

Went to Saint Luke’s, on the plaza. WHICH I DO NOT RECOMMEND! The ER wasn’t busy but was waiting for 4 1/2 hours. So we decided to leave & come to RESEARCH BROOK SIDE. They greet me @ the door & seen me right away. Wasn’t busy @ all which was great. Nurse & MD were nice & didn’t judge me. MRI staff was kind as well. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND RESEARCH BROOK SIDE . OVER (SAINT LUKES ON THE PLAZA)

I'm submitting for a friend who is visually impaired. Once we were signed in the service was very quick. The lady who came to take him for CT was very gracious and let him use her shoulder to assist him walking to have the test. It was also nice that he could pay his co-pay from his tablet before the appointment from home.

Online registration is a great option. Front desk very welcoming. The tech that provided my mammogram made a very uncomfortable situation, as pleasant as possible. I loved the Saturday appointment.

The staff at Research is top notch; from the registration to the send off I was made to feel like I was the most important patient there. All were friendly, caring, and responsive the entire time. I've been in many hospitals in my life but this was by far my best experience. When even the director comes by to see how you're doing, you know they are doing their very best!
