Second time we've visited here in the past month. I highly recommend it. The food is really good and the service was great! Even has a pizza oven. Mariah was our server and really took good care of us.

My meal was delicious, the service however wasn't the best. I served for 8+ yrs at 3 different restaurants. We came in 1.5 hrs before close and you could tell that things were getting lax because of the time. Saw a server walking around chewing, and my server seemed like we weren't a priority at all. I've been here before and had a much better experience. He seemed like a nice guy, just wasn't very attentive.

Restaurant was not busy, but still took the waiter awhile to serve our table. Overall the experience was still positive.

My wife and I dined at Brio for our Anniversary. We used the online reservation system and it worked great. Our reservation was for 7:00 and we were sat right on time. Our server was very nice and attentive. My wife had ordered coffee and the first up they brought out was barely warm. My wife notified the server and she apologized and brewed a fresh pot right away. We got the Bruschetta Sampler for a starter. It was fantastic. It was very fresh and everything you would want in Bruschetta. I had the Lobster and Shrimp Fettuccine. It was just okay. The Lobster was a bit chewy and the sauce was a little runny and didn’t stick to the noodles. My wife got the Gorgonzola Crusted Beef Medallions. They were outstanding. We also had dessert. The tiramisu was very good. It could have used a bit more coffee flavor, but that’s just me being picky. We also had the warm chocolate cake. Wow it was outstanding. Nice warm gooey cake paired well with the vanilla ice cream. Overall a very good dining experience.

Never never sign a contract for a large birthday dinner here my friend’s 32 bday dinner was here last night Saturday may 14th the menu had the13th and the service was horrible reservation was at 7:30 everyone was sitting by 8 we didn’t get water and drinks and apps till 9pm salads didn’t come out till 9:30 - 9:45 no one came to clear the plates for the apps and salads them can the food with no where to sit it on the table so we just got to go boxes it was honestly unexpected for a place like this I did my party /private room capital grill and it was the best to have a total of 1132 and can’t even get plates cleared I’ll never go back and I feel Because she did signed the contract they felt they were getting paid regardless so there was no rush just sad o and the chicken Marsala was trash it’s better at Olive Garden🤦🏾‍♀️

Food was good overall. Lobster bisque was good. Steak medallions for slightly overcooked well the kids mac and cheese was very rainy and the kids yeti with meat sauce was not my style. Service was slow and didn't pay much attention to what we needed. Very small portion of dessert to go.

Dylan was our entertaining and accommodating server. The next time we visit, we’ll ask for his table specifically, he was THAT good! The food was wonderful, the service was totally above the standard. This is and has always been my favorite restaurant in Kansas City

Let’s start of saying I’m not a fan of pay for location not the food places…. So I typically avoid these places, or am easily disappointed because the food to price discrepancy exists. I will start off by saying right off that the grilled salmon Fresca was on point. Cooked well and I really dug the sweet potato. It added an unexpected texture. So that was good and of our table, I think the artichoke dip and bruschetta were the most popular at our office party. I was not impressed with the service off hours. They mucked our reservation size and then the server actually debated with our manager (who made the reservation) and said we couldn’t move ….. when WE WERE THE ONLY TABLE IN THE RESTAURANT. That was odd. The server also went a bit Mia for a significant period of time. So…. That being said I’m not one to judge a restaurant on a particular server so…. The salmon was nice. Was it the BEST 26 dollar salmon I’ve had in KC….. no. It’s probably 3 or 4th. But I’m not going to dog it. The table enjoyed the lasagna and salads.

Our daughter chose Brio as the restaurant to celebrate at after her graduation ceremony. Our reservation was for 4pm. The restaurant was empty when we arrived minus a few people at the bar. We were greeted warmly and waited for our table to be ready for us. Our server took our appetizer order and drink order. We waited about 20-30 min for both appetizers and drinks. We weren’t asked for our entree order until we asked to place our orders for our food after a bit of time. Our food came out delicious and in a timely manner. We did have to ask for our waters to be refilled. The server never asked us if we needed refills, pre-bussed our table, or how our food was. We had to pretty much ask for all the services. This is atypical for a fine dining establishment such as Brio. Food was great. Service was not.

Brio Italian Grille is the perfect spot to eat at in Kansas City when you are craving a fresh and delicious Italian meal. Did I mention you have a spectacular view of the Plaza if you are sitting on the patio?? We ordered our two favorite items: Chicken Limone and Chicken Milanese. Every table starts their meal with house bread & better, but we also started our amazing meal off with the Sausage, Pepperoni & Ricotta Flatbread…so tasty! We also ordered two fresh berry drinks from the bar. Brio is the perfect spot to go on a date, for a celebration, or to bring friends/family from out of town!

I took my fiance here for lunch for Valentine's Day. We had never been here before. Hostess was friendly and seated us promptly ( we had a reservation ). The restaurant wasn't very busy. The server was friendly and offered suggestions. We ordered and were presented bread. Butter was soft, which is nice. Many restaurants serve hard, cold, non spreadable butter. The bread was top-notch. The server hadn't brought my dates diet Pepsi, but when she brought my salad, she asked if she could have her soda. ( we had water already ). Food seemed to take a while, but when it arrived, it was very delicious. My date wanted a spoon to twirl her spaghetti, but the server didn't stop back until our meal was almost finished. My date asked for a spoon and received one and maybe had 5 bites. We waited a bit to receive a check. We also waited a while for our server to take my card. We probably were there from 12:40 until 2:10 The food was wonderful, and the server was friendly, but it seemed like service was slow even though they were maybe 35% capacity. I definitely recommend this place. This was my experience. I wasn't blown away but wasn't disappointed. Food was definitely 10 out of 10. My ceaser salad had the best croutons ever. I don't really even like croutons and typically pick them out of my salad. I ate every one. I'd say 8/10 on the service. Room to improve slightly but good. I'll definitely be back.

We dined about 6pm on a Thursday. We were seated right away on the patio for a beautiful el fresco meal. The risotto was creamy and the shrimp perfectly cooked. I also enjoyed the lobster bisque. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive.

David is seriously the best waiter I have ever come in contact with, he's awesome. Before you ask for something, it is already there. This is Kansas city's shining star. Also the place is breathtaking!!! Thank you

I took my husband here for a part of his birthday surprise out of state. I wanted to wine and dine him and take him some place more fancy due to the fanciest place we have from home is Olive Garden which I actually prefer Olive Gardens food more after trying here. However the atmosphere was great everyone was very kind and it was very clean. I don’t think the food was as good as the money we spent on it but overall was a nice experience.

Good times, Great memories… My wife and I ate here when it opened back in 2004-05. Almost 20 years of special days, birthdays, anniversaries. We came to celebrate my wife’s 40th Birthday, we love the tiramisu. Thanks to the manager for getting to reminisce and the champagne and to Devin for wonderful service !

Not great. Food was delayed and barely warm. Waiter blamed kitchen and yet never refilled our drinks. The salad was brown.

Horrible service, went in for lunch and waited 15 minutes for a table. Then waited another 20 minutes and he still hadn't come to take our order. We got up and left, on the way out the waiter said that he couldn't keep up. I might have believed that but there were only 3 other tables in the whole restaurant that had people at it. The guy definitely needs to find a new profession.

We have been here a few times. We were a bit disappointed this time. My lasagna was just warm enough to eat. While we there the manager(?) read a note from a receipt to a staff member that was telling him the same thing that I experienced with my food and service. We were there 2-18.

Beautiful Tuscany inspired decor. We were in shorts and Tee's & at first I thought we might be under dressed. But we were greeted warmly and seated right away. Our cocktails a Strawberry Basil Lemonata & Amalfi Blue Wave were pretty and yummy. But be warned the latter is very sweet. Pictured is the appetizer, Sausage, Pepperoni & Ricotta Flatbread. We loved this thin and crispy and I believe from a wood fired oven. For the main course we both ordered the Pasta Brio. Again we were very happy. We definitely will visit again.

Our first, but definitely not our last visit. The food was amazing, the hostess was so kind, & our service was the best we’ve ever had. David was remarkable, & gave a level of service you rarely see anymore.

They accommodated our large party and the service was friendly. A little slow and forgetful at times but very courteous and apologetic. The food was very good and the portions were large. For starters, the spinach artichoke dip was wonderful. The little crackers that it was served with for dipping were flavorful and had the best crunch. The bruschetta sampler was also very good. My husband and I shared the lasagna and loved it! Our grandson told us the kids cheese pizza was the best pizza he had ever eaten. Great lunch and very flavorful food!

Our server Adrian was great, and food was delicious. I got the Gorgonzola crusted medallions. He got the spaghetti bolognese. I’m deducting a star because of all the things Adrian said they were out of- the garlic truffle toast starter that I was looking forward to, lamb chops and tiramisu.

What a great place! Clean, well staffed, and great food. We we're visiting KC and heard about the shopping area and as we were walking around we smelled amazing food as we passed!! Friendly staff greeted us and sat us right away. The food came quickly and with no complaints on our part😁.

We visited a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday night and sat at the bar. The bartenders working that night were hilarious and entertaining. They were super busy and it did take a little longer than usual to get our food/drinks but they were attentive and working as quickly as they could. We had a great time! Food and drinks amazing as well. Best lasagna ive had in a long time.

Nice experience, will return one day. My food was pretty simple tasting (I did order a dish with marinara sauce) but it was picture perfect!

My son requested Brio for his birthday dinner. I placed a catering order for pick up (1 hour and 45 minutes in advance). The employee was very helpful, friendly and professional. The order wasn’t ready for pick up at the scheduled time, but didn’t have to wait too long, so no big deal. The Pasta alla Vodka was EXCELLENT. I ordered a half pan catering size and there was plenty for 10 people. I also ordered a salad for 10 people, sadly the pan was ¼ full and served 6 (barely). The sourdough bread that came with the order was fabulous, except for the loaf that was previously cut so it was hard and very stale. The uncut loaf was great. It was convenient that they supplied plates and eating utensils, however they forgot the requested serving utensils and butter. I tried to call the restaurant to give the manager my feedback, but they hung up on me, I’m assuming it was an accident, but I didn’t want to waste my time on hold again. The food was fabulous, but had a few hiccups with our order.

I was dining there on Wednesday night with some friends and Joshua was our waiter. Even though he was new, He was so fun and attentive. He went beyond our expectations and his customer service was exceptional. We really enjoyed him…. Finest waiter ever! Thanks Joshua!

The Bruschetta Trio was great all 3 were unique and great portions for a starter. The Lasagna was amazing perfect meat/cheese/sauce ratio, melt in your mouth goodness. Pasta Brio paired perfectly cooked pasta with a great blend of mushroom, spinach and chicken in a roasted red pepper sauce, the waitress suggested adding shrimp and it was a great enhancement. The Limoncello Lemonade helped augment our dinner and help me loosen up to enjoy conversation and time together as a couple. It was so awesome we decided to take a Pollo Flatbread back to our hotel to enjoy hours later before bedtime. A great experience for a nice date night. Prices seemed fair for the complexity of the food, the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the impeccable service of the staff

Our server David made the experience personal and had great table service and helped guide us through the menu. food was incredible. I’ve eaten overseas in Italy and there bolognese reminded me of a mom and pop shop I had eaten at a long time ago.
