It is small and very understated - as many things here in the midwest are - as well serene and very poignant. Moving. As it should be. This is not meant to be grand, but more, a reminder to honor those who have not only fought bravely, but given the ultimate sacrifice. It is elegantly simple, and stacked on levels as if into a hillside, keeping nice site lines with the surrounding area. In a "City of Fountains" those here are quite modern, and listening to them is very relaxing. Low maintenance landscaping helps add an again, simple beauty. Parks and rec, or perhaps volunteers keep it well maintained. It should never go in disrepair. If you know a veteran let them know your appreciation.

It's always a moving and meaningful experience. We were disappointed the fountains weren't operational.

A great place to go visit and pay respects for those Who fought in a terrible war. This is truly a spectacular memorial, and for the people that don’t know just exactly how many people were affected by this war!

A lovely, small and often overlooked park. It’s got a pleasant zen feel.

This Memorial to Vietnam War veterans is a lovely spot in the spring and summer. The water fountains burble just enough to cut through the traffic noise, and the memorial's wall of names is an excellent backdrop to the fountains. I have seen vets of multiple wars having reunions.

Being a soldier in having my father and my father's father and now my son's all things soldiers in arms dedicated to the protection of the United States I'm very proud of my son's carrying on the Legacy showing patriotism loving the US of a. The one monument is very moving and sentimental for all those who served

Much respect to the vets, remember watching the news about soldiers still coming back/ being found in the early 80s. But could use a little more upkeep there in honor of those whose names are on that wall

A reminder to exhaust diplomatic solutions first and call for war only as a last resort. That said, we should never forget the brave and what they gave.

A respite from the world. Cool fountains and there are benches to sit and meditate. Consider it!

Sobering reminder of the remnants of war. There wasn’t a plaque explaining what the names were on the wall. I’m pretty sure more soldiers died.
