Park

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Mill Creek Park is always a serene, beautiful environment in which to walk, run, or read. I took one of my many books and used the natural shade to read. There were many others quietly enjoying music, pictures, and each other's company. People often mention park, great, walking, walk,

Mill Creek Park is an excellent place to frequent. During the warmer parts of the year the fountain in the park is active. The park has a 3/4 mile circular track with approximately 100 feet of elevation. There is also a workout station with a pull-up bar and other pieces of equipment. This is a great park for relaxing and enjoying the scenery, or working out or walking. I highly recommend this park, this is a great park if you are solo or have family or friends.

Grew up coming to this park to sit by the fountains and it gives me the same feeling in 2023. Love this for our city

My family and I ran an ultra marathon here! I love how the walking path is similar to a track. It was very easy on the knees 😊 It was very nice. There is some outside workout equipment there as well!

Such a great park! The centerpiece is the fountain. It has quite a story. Build in Paris for a NYC millionaire back in the day and then moved to KCMO later. There are 4 horses which represent 4 major rivers. I know them, but not gonna tell you. Go ahead and Google them yourself like an adult. Great street art here by too.

It is a good site to see, a nice outing spot to relax, walk around, jog, and much more. I would/will definitely recommend anyone to stop by and visit and everything around it.

I have a lot of good memories of this place. Unfortunately, the city planning committee (or whatever they're calling themselves) changed the name of the fountain, removed an important piece of our city's history, and followed along with the silliness that's been going on recently.

Mill Creek has a great walking loop and is usually less crowded than Loose which can be nice if I need/want more space. It also has bodyweight exercise stations around the outer loop of the walk/run path which is a really health friendly option for no cost if people need or want that option in their neighborhood. Well kept/clean for the most part too. Not well lit at night so I do not recommend walking it in the dark.

A nice place to take a break, lunch or dinner near the Plaza. With plenty of green space to sit and see nature or people watch, 2023.

A park that I've always liked, except I liked the older workout pieces that they had at first, they were much better.

Pleasant park, albeit you don’t always feel as removed as one might like from 21st century life.

I've always loved this park. It's a really pleasant place to get a brisk walk in. It's pleasant and breezy in the evening. The walking path is approx 1mile long with a great incline to amp up your walk. Some of the path is shaded and some of it is open and sunny.

Such a great walking park right near the Plaza. The walkway is asphalt and has a couple of directions so you can go easy or add a little incline. Very clean and well lit in the evening.

It's the Richy-rich part of Kansas City. So, the City always maintains this park and provides amenities for. Too bad the City doesn't care for all of its parks like this. Even Rich hobos feel entitled here.
