I have a weird fear of taking urine tests. I don't know why but my body tenses up and I can't go even though I needed to just go. Some say I have performance anxiety or stage fright. All though I couldn't go my first try they allowed me to come out and sit in a comfortable chair drink some water and the staff spoke to me about my concerns which all made me feel more at ease. My nurse was Sean and he was amazing. He was very understanding, calm, and friendly. I was very grateful for him as he told me that I'm not the only one that has this issue. I was able to retry and because of the reassuring staff who made me feel more comfortable I was able to get the job done. I know this is a ridiculous experience to put on a rating for a clinic but I was so grateful of how nice the staff were and hope this story helps someone choose to go here.

The doctor was very cold, horrible bedside manner.. did not do a thorough physical exam and did not ask any questions. Did not give any suggestions for further care or treatment. Then edited my original workman’s comp paperwork for no apparent reason complicating and prolonging treatment.

Therapy is more interested in billing than healing! 10 minutes on a hand bicycle & 2 minutes playing with playdoe for damaged nerves in my thumb. & the doctor said my pain is in my head. I'm not really hurt. Mean & unprofessional in my opinion

I was recently at Concentra for a pre-employment screening. I was there for over three hours. When I arrived, they took my ID and input me into their system, then told me to sit and wait to be called on. I was there for an hour before they decided to ask me what company sent me. It took more than another hour to finally be seen, only to be left in a room to wait for a doctor for about 45 minutes. It was not busy. There were maybe a total of 15 people there, to be seen, from the time I arrived to the time I left. It's obvious that no one there cares about your time. Avoid the Southwest Blvd location in KCMO if you can.

Went in because I have a sore throat (keep in mind we’re approaching flu season) and I got turned away because it was a covid symptom. I also was able to produce 2 negative tests which were denied bc they were an at home test. There is zero advertising on their website that they are turning away patients with covid symptoms. Doesn’t make any sense to me.

I checked in for preemployment testing and provided my drivers license they did not check their system and checked me in under my maiden name and took company payment under my maiden name even though I told them I was married before they ran payment saying they could fix it on their end. They could not since they ran the payment so my drug test had my married last name my physical had my maiden name. Luckily the company hiring me was okay with it or I may have not been able to get hired on. I got lucky and the staff at the front desk did not think the different last names were a big deal. The nurse doing my tests thought it was a big deal. However they couldn’t fix it once they took payment. Took longer as well I had to redo the health questionnaire since they suspended the one I spent 30 minutes completing

My experience was great, the wait wasn’t too long. Marlon was patient and professional & got me out of there in good timing. I did find it weird that I was asked by the doctor put shorts but no exam occurred that would require me to undress. I think her name was Dr. Moran. She was very short with me and looked like I had slapped her when I asked a simple question about why I needed to wear shorts. She is not a peoples person at all. The front office staff where very unprofessional using terms like “baby” or “hun” to patients. There was a smell of marijuana coming from a staff who walked past me. A taller white guy, I didn’t get his name but he reeked so bad I just couldn’t understand how u guys test for drugs yet the staff are obviously doing drugs on the clock.

These folks are the best! In spite of being incredibly busy, they were kind, patient, and extremely helpful. Angel is fantastic! She not only answered all of my questions at the front desk, she also did my blood draw - it was painless! I highly recommend this group.

Immediately when I walked in the lady at the front desk directed me to a safe parking spot. Was addressed kindly and directed to complete the required forms quickly with excellent direction. The office was clean and welcoming. I was in and out very quickly and treated well during my visit. Everyone was polite and professional.

I don't live in the area but I go to this one if I've had to have a UA done for a job over the years because they are all so friendly and compassionate and we'll talk to you if you have questions without feeling rushed. The one in Lenexa is always so packed that you may spend the whole day there and this one they are quick you get in and out with no problems and as I said they are easy to talk to and the girls at the front desk are awesome I wish I could remember their names. But I highly recommend this facility to anyone that needs to go to urgent care even if it is a little bit out of the way

It was very busy. I waited for about 45-60 minutes. Everyone was mostly positive here but this one young lady was rude to me. After sitting down waiting for about 15-20 minutes I let the lady know I never received a text to my phone she was sending. She kind of yelled at me and had an attitude. Yet, sent it immediately after I brought it up. I’m really disappointed I don’t feel comfortable going back because it’s down the street from my place.

Staff was courteous. Took a while to get back for testing. Had to go to the desk a few times to clear up things, thought communication could have been better. Saw people going to the back that had come in after me, was confused about that. Firefighters came in with axes, was wondering what was going on, they eventually left but no one ever said anything.

This was the worst healthcare facility I have ever been to. I went in for a pre-employment screening, and was greeted with attitude and rudeness. After waiting for an hour and a half, the nurse who did my screening was cold and short, and never explained what she was doing. During the screening, she was about to perform a tetanus vaccination, that I was not told I needed, nor was on my procedure paperwork. When confronted on this, the staff was defensive and manipulative in conversation, ultimately telling me ‘they don’t have to put all of the procedures they perform on the procedure paperwork.’ Left with no aftercare instructions, nor proof of vaccination. I will never go back to this location, and I strongly suggest you don’t either.

Came to get treatment for a non-emergency, ongoing issue. Waited an hour and a half. When my name was called, I was brought to the back and told that I needed to go to the emergency room if I wanted treatment. Told them it wasn't an emergency issue, and that it was something I'd been dealing with long-term. Asked for a referral to specialist, and was told "we don't do referrals." Especially disheartening since I called the specialist myself and was told to come here to get a referral if I wanted to see a specialist. UPDATE: I asked to see the doctor anyway since I came for multiple reasons, hoping to get at least one issue resolved. Was then told the doctor was going on lunch break and my wait would be another hour.

Angel and all the girls up front were extremely nice and efficient. Erin in Physical Therapy was AMAZING. She really helped me so much. I so enjoyed my visits.

I reported there Friday the 24th of November for a DOT recertification physical through my employer. I go through the whole physical, where I clearly passed. But for the third time this Medical Examiner by the name of Nancy Moran decides to hold up my medical card. She gives me paperwork for my personal doctors to sign off on. What I need to know is if this is the right procedure. She is the only Medical Examiner that requires this. When our cdl’s/medical cards are required for us to make a paycheck. Lately I’ve been avoiding this location because of her practice of delaying me from returning to work. So I had to go some where else to get qualified, because my company paid DOT physical was delayed by said person at this location. She use to just require a copy of your labs from last doctor visit. Now she just says “Labs aren’t good enough.” And coldly walks out of the room. Had to go outside the Concentra network to get qualified, so I could meet my work schedule that starts Sunday nights. Why make a person go through all that stress to continue making a living. Why make a person go through a whole physical, in which he easily passes, to then delay them from receiving their recertification?

I waited for 2 1/2 hours for a physical. Office was busy but there is no communication about delay for what what was a 5 minute cursory exam. The doc barely spoke and i really doubt this helps my stem cell donation. Probably just a bad day for them but a complete waste of time on my end. Plus the waiting area is uncomfortable and dirty. Upside, the phlebotomist was fantastic!

Messed up my paperwork. Spent almost two and a half hours there when I had an appointment for a pre employment screening. They mixed up mine and another gentleman's u.a. and hair follicle test. Still waiting for results I should pass but if I fail I will be contesting for sure. Literally watched them open containers for u.a. and dump them in another bottle after it had been sealed because wasn't in the "right" container. If you have another option use it!!

I am only giving this many stars because the nursing staff and the front desk was amazing! The wait for a 10 min physical was 1 1/2 hrs in the actual room. All together I waited 4 hrs for 3 things. I know with these situations waiting can be part of the game. But the doctor was slow and made excuses the whole time. Gave me my physical and then asked me my name, didn’t know what I was there for before seeing me. Told me that I was the front desk problem! I am a travel nurse myself and know how the compliance process goes. I was completely disgusted and disappointed with the care I got from the doctor. Front desk and nursing staff was amazing, friendly, and competent.

They were good they were really nice just couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. It's not their fault my job refused some services. They did their best to help me though.

The staff was friendly and helpful, joking with them was very entertaining and all the staff were really nice and happy to visit and explain what was needed.

Service was good and thorough but quite slow. I was there for almost 2 hours for a performance exam for a job and almost missed my orientation walk through. Maybe an online check in would be a better option.

The line was terrible long there was no chairs to fill out paperwork the hpe test I took was ridiculous never taking one before I hope that's not the new Norm. But the nurses were great they did their job.

Went in today because I have had a sharp earache for 6 days that is causing painful swallowing. Naturally I have a sore throat due to this - and I was turned away for fear of Covid. I honestly can’t even wrap my head around the absurdity. An earache could be due to a myriad of things and Covid is quite honestly the LEAST likely in my situation.

I went there for my DOT physical The staff very friendly, and everything flowed fairly fast, It went of the rails during the doctor's visit I was told that I need a sleep study , because I am overweight, the craziest part is I've had a DOT card for the last 10 years and I weigh less than I ever had in the past I never required a sleep studyfpreviously and from a doctor who had the bedside manner of a snail and who was overweight themselves which was insulting. I go to the gym 4 h 6 times a week and work extremely hard at what I do only to be put into some cookie cutter box body type that does not fit everyone. I feel like they're using their examiners license to gain work in the form of sleep studies just so funny that the website will lead you to a place for sleep studies as well bad form if I had a choice I would go anywhere else

Had a really great time thanks to Elexus at the front desk. She is so sweet, and kind. Shawn who did my physical therapy check up was very kind and nice as well. They both made my experience a good one. If I ever go back look forward to seeing their kind faces. 😊

I waited about an hour for an employer drug test. My wait time wasn't unique as many people were also waiting extended times for basic services or appointments in a packed waiting room. I'm sure you could find a more efficient location or different urgent care provider.

Have never been treated so badly at a facility that supposedly puts care above all else. Hilariously unprofessional and downright awful care. Perhaps if you have a workers comp issue and you’re willing to slide a few dollars to this supposed professional facility. Otherwise if you’re looking for genuine care and a professional physician you have better luck going to the alleyway behind the building.
