My
entire
family
has
been
seeing
Dr.
Michael
DiBernardo
since
I
was
in
elementary
school.
He
is
an
absolutely
wonderful
doctor
who
listens
to
patient
concerns,
explains
things
well,
and
cares
deeply
about
his
clients.
However,
the
quality
of
care
that
myself
and
my
family
have
received
at
Meritas
Health
Gashland
has
decreased
significantly
over
the
years.
Back
when
the
clinic
was
Gashland
Clinic,
not
affiliated
with
Meritas
Health,
things
were
different.
Appointments
were
easy
to
make
in
a
reasonable
timeframe
and
the
urgent
care
process
was
expedient.
Since
becoming
affiliated
with
Meritas
Health,
the
doctor
I
have
seen
since
childhood
is
difficult
to
see
unless
I
am
willing
to
wait
4-8
weeks
for
my
appointment
date
to
arrive.
If
I
do
opt
to
wait
for
an
office
visit,
my
doctor
is
unable
to
sit
and
listen
to
all
of
my
concerns
for
very
long
because
of
their
packed
schedules.
Urgent
care
is
a
nightmare.
There
are
so
many
patients
that
they
have
begun
using
a
former
lab
room,
suite
160,
to
seat
patients
waiting
to
be
seen.
The
wait
times
range
from
an
hour
to
three
hours.
Often,
the
doctors
assigned
to
urgent
care
duty
for
that
week
are
burned
out,
dismissive,
and
rude
to
their
patients.
The
nurses
and
scheduling
staff
can
be
rude
and
short.
I
have
no
idea
why
this
once
lovely
clinic
has
gone
to
hell
in
a
hand
basket,
but
it
makes
me
very
sad,
angry,
and
disappointed.
Meritas
Health
has
obviously
mismanaged
this
clinic,
but
they
will
never
change
-
because
healthcare
is
a
necessary
service,
there
is
very
little
accountability
to
be
held.
Nevertheless,
I
hope
this
changes
in
the
future,
so
that
the
many
longtime
patients
can
be
served
far
better
than
they
are
currently
being
served.
