It has four sections Wax Museum 4/5 3D Paintings 3/5 9D effect video/movie 5/5 VR movie 2/5 Total cost 220 rs per person I habe given ratings as well. Since, they dont have many personalities in the was museum thats why only 4/5 ratings. Only 10-12 celebrity. 3D paintings were just fine. 9D movie of 5 Min. Was the best of all. Must watch. VR is good for the first timer but not upto expectations for people who have already experienced it before. Over all 3/5 ratings. Price should be reduce as per quality. It should be 150.

The entry fee is Rs 100 per person for Wax museum and 3D painting The museum is located just at near the kanayakumari railway station It is centralised AC and best to take kids along They have wax statues of all celebrities and great personalities. The statues are crafted so excellent they look so real They have VR and 9D also but we have to pay Rs 120 to visit that place

Mayapuri Wonder Wax 🤗🥰 Mayapuri Wonder Wax is located in Kanyakumari the capital of the state of Tamil Nadu. 🤗🙏 It's India's first wax statue museum which is established on 2005. Around 10-15 statues are here, I had done lot of fun in 3D room. Staff is very friendly and funny inside museum. Generally people take selfies with these wax monuments. It hardly take 30 minutes to cover the whole space. They charge Rs :- 100 per person here.🤗🥰 It's a beautiful museum. Well maintained. Just loved it. Found so many nice wax statues. We found so many celebrities, scientists, etc. We have to purchase tickets. Parking is so nice. Huge place for parking. Neat and clean. Other than that VR movie and motodriving options available for children with additional cost of Rs :- 400 extra.🥲🤗🥰 Entry Fee Rs :- 100 per person charge. Timings :- Monday - Saturday 8AM to 7PM Sunday Closed🔒

A wax museum usually houses figures made of exceptional wax work. These are mostly figures of famous actors and personalities. The Kanyakumari Wax Museum is located near the railway station of Kanyakumari and is famed for being India’s one of a kind wax museum. It was started at Baywatch Amusement Park in 2005. Visitors are in for being totally bowled over by the intricate wax work of some really talented Indian artists. Inside, you will find wax figures and statues of Indian minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, dancing sensation Michael Jackson, scientist Einstein, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, American's presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, Hollywood actor Jackie Chan, Tamil superstar Rajnikanth among others. These look alive and almost too real to believe! You can click loads of pictures in this picture zone. The kids will have a blast posing adjacent to their favorite super stars. It may also be a good educational tour for them, tell them about all the scientists and politicians housed as figures at the museum. Another attraction of Kanyakumari Museum is the 3-D painting hall. The paintings placed here appear three dimensional.

An excellent wax worked statues. They are so real in look. The museum has many famous peoples' statues. The best part is they have a 3d art gallery where we could do a photo shoot. The staffs in there are voluntarily helping visitors to take perfect photos with 3d pictures to look real. Got an awesome experience.

It's an ok ok place, along with wax statues they also have a 3d painting exhibition, this is pretty okay, and few other things for which we didn't go, since kanyakumari is a small place, and not a lot of things to do, this can be one of the places to be visited in the evening times

Its on the main road and very near to railway station. I can say there are only few statues of wax into this museum. The more fun part is the 3D art. You can take lots of the pictures of these arts. When you see into camera its just look too real. There is an also VR box experience there with extra tickets. For the wax and 3D arts its only 100 per person price for both arts. Staff is very helpful they can even show you some pose that really look amazing in 3D arts. You can also find toilet facility into the room. Wax Museum ticket - 100. 9D Movies ticket - 60. VR experience - 60.

Not worth spending 100rs per person wherein you see the almost wax statues (not sure if it's actually wax or just cement). Just one or two replicas are made to look too real. Rest are not upto the mark (compared to the other ones in India). A one time visit if you do not have anything left to see in Kanyakumari. But definitely not worth 100rs per head.

Ticket costing is 120 for wax museum+ 3D art. It will be 480 for all 4 packages that include wax museum+ 3D art+dashing cars+ 9D theater. The level of artistry and attention to detail is truly commendable, making it a mesmerizing experience for visitors. Whether you're a fan of Bollywood, Hollywood, or famous political leaders, you will find a wax figure that captures your interest. One of the highlights of the museum is the interactive nature of the exhibits. Visitors are encouraged to take pictures with the wax figures, creating fun and memorable moments. The 3D paintings and the 9D show and 3D show were marvels. The museum staff are friendly and knowledgeable, providing insights and answering any questions visitors may have. Its vibrant and colorful exterior adds to the overall appeal of the museum, making it a standout attraction in Kanyakumari. The first wax museum in India. The statues are really good but it feels like quite a high charge to visit this. Rs.100 Entry fee collected for one person and nothing much special inside. Some pre painted arts are there inside and it's funny to take photos there. It's located near the railway station itself.

    1. Not worth for the money 2. Only few wax statues are realistic, few statues are smaller in size, 3. 3d painting is only good for kids 4. Lighting at statues is not that good 5. History about statues / person is also very minimally available Positive is Staff are supportive.

Wax statue of renowned personalities and fictional characters are showcased here, though some statues need perfection interms of facial resemblance to their original character. Though the 3D pictures were quite good and fun. Rs 100 per person is charged for this two activities. Other than that VR movie and motodriving options available for children with additional cost of Rs400 extra.

It looks like a hall where the world’s famous celebrities have come together; hanging out with their fans for photoshoots and having a great time. The wax statues at the Wax Museum in Kanniyakumari is an interesting place to visit. Have you ever had a chance to take a selfie next to your favourite star or celebrity? Well, if you haven’t, here is the next best option. Take a pic next to a wax statue. If you haven’t managed one yet, welcome to Kanniyakumari and the famous wax museum that showcases a host of national and international celebrities. One of the top tourist attractions of Kanniyakumari, this museum is also known as Mayapuri Wonder Wax Museum. Located inside the Baywatch amusement park in Kanniyakumari, the wax museum is designed in line with the world-famous Madame Tussaud’s in London. Though not a grand one with so much of exhibits when compared to various other bigger wax museums in the world, Kanniyakumari Wax Museum still has enough in to excite a visitor. Kids will especially love the museum and a chance to see figures of their dearest stars up close. Historical figures, Indian and international movie actors, political figures, sports personalities etc. are included in the list. Some of the most noted celebrities in the hall include Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Indira Gandhi, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Dr. Manmohan Singh, Amithabh Bacchan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Shahrukh Khan Jackie Chan and so goes the list. The museum was established in 2005 and continues to be a source of great amusement and entertainment to tourists visiting Kanniyakumari. There are also 3D paintings within the museum premises that add to the attraction. Make sure to drop in to this amazing venue on your trip to Kanniyakumari.

Its a good place to visit but not enough art their collection to be charging such high prices. The wax figures were melting and damaged and should be better maintained. The 9D movie was also short nor was it thrilling. We visited with our 2 kids on a Friday afternoon and it was not busy at all. The Entire visit was completed within 30 minutes.

Its very near to the railway station. Photography is allowed but i didnt want to spoil your experience of whats coming. There are 4 rides (wax museum, 9d movie, dash kart and VR) each 100rs. Had a great experience at the Wax museum lots of ways for clicks. Surprisingly 9D movie was great. We skipped VR and dash kart. Have fun.

Nothing special except some wax statues and a 5 minute 4D show. They changed very high for tickets and they bundled the item to loot you. There's no one to watch the show or statue. Parking space available. It's on the side of the main road in kanyakumari.

No need of any narration! The images speak themselves as to how much joy and entertainment this place has to offer. This place is a pleasant surprise to all those visiting Kanyakumari. For a meagre fee of Rs50/- per person, I promise that this place will leave you mesmerizing especially the kids. The life size statues of famous personalities and the 3D paintings giving the illusion effect are a sheer joy. Those who are fond of taking photos and selfies will definitely love this place. A must must visit place in Kanyakumari.
