I recently visited Sunrise Point in Kanyakumari and was absolutely blown away by the stunning views. The location is truly breathtaking, with a clear view of the sunrise over the ocean. The atmosphere was peaceful and serene, and I enjoyed watching the fishermen at work on their boats. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, with plenty of benches and seating areas to take in the views. I highly recommend visiting Sunrise Point if you are in Kanyakumari - it is a truly unforgettable experience.

This is a peaceful fishing village that is not popular during the day. Early in the morning, many people watch the sunrise and bathe in the seawater. The day I saw the sunrise, the air wasn't clear, so the sunrise wasn't as striking as it could be.

It's a life time experience visiting Kanyakumari. Southernmost point of India, definitely must visit atleast once. One more good thing is that we can enjoy both sunrise and sunset here.. the scene , the breeze everything is blessed as well as exotic view is a treat to watch. Every Nature lovers dream spot. Awesomely managed by the government. Great tourist spot.

Very much crowded and dirty place . You have to walk so much but still we didn't got to see sunrise cause of weather. There's nothing like you see in photos. First check weather then only go otherwise u will be disappointed like us.

Very near to boat jetty in Kanyakumari. Awesome view of sunrise can be seen from here. Reach here before 6 so that you can capture each and every moment of the sunrise. Some local peoples are selling tea and other items. Some photographers are also available of you want to capture your pic during the sunrise.

Very beautiful place to get a view of Sunrise at the Southern most tip of Indian Peninsula. This is also the place where the 3 seas meet. There is a view point which is just beside the sea and gives a very good view of the ocean and Vivekananda Rock also. There is a nominal entry ticket to use the View point. Better to reach there a bit early before the actual sunrise, as there is a lot of rush to get a view of the sunrise.

Its must watch thing and should be on your list be it sunrise or sunset. Kanyakumari is famous for its sunrise and sunset all over India and across globe as well. You can stay in near by hotel and get up early in the morning to witness this mesmerising view where you can sea and sun together. You can literally see horizon. ❀️

Nice view point.. Natural beautiful of sun rising from ocean itself is magic. Canvas of Colors spread before sunrise is amazing.. Chances of seeing sunrise is 50% as mostly clouds cover sunrise phenomenon.. But worth trying..

Refreshing atmosphere, start early around 5 hoping there won't be any clouds. Sunrise happens around 6:15, but the sky looks beautiful prior to sunrise with its shades of blue black and yellows spread all over it. Stars and moon still stay up as if they were also waiting for the Sun to raise. The tides strike the shore carrying breeze with them. The rock memorial illuminates and the ocean sparkles with the first Ray of light. It's an experience lived and made to be remembered.

Kanyakumari coastal city in Tamil Nadu is famous for Kanyakumari Sunrise Point. Visit Sunrise Point in Kanyakumari to witness Kanyakumari Sunrise. Sunrise point is just behind the Amman temple on the Kanyakumari Beach. The beach is not so great to mention (dirty and dangerous) however the place is very busy with tourists, locals, pilgrims and vendors! It is a place where you can see the mix of people from all walks of life however had it been a bit more clean and organised, it would have given off a good feeling. Around 300 meters you have to walk for view points. I seen very clearly of sun rose.

Kanyakumari is a coastal town in the southernmost tip of India, where the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal meet. It is famous for its spectacular sunrises and sunsets, especially on full moon days. One of the best places to witness the beauty of nature is the sun raise view point, which offers a panoramic view of the horizon as the sun emerges from the sea. The sun raise view point is located near the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, a popular tourist attraction. The sun raise view point is accessible by boat from the mainland, and it is advisable to reach there early in the morning to avoid the crowd and enjoy the serene atmosphere. The sun raise view point is awesome because it gives a sense of awe and wonder at the majesty of the sun and its reflection on the water. The changing colors of the sky and the sea create a mesmerizing sight that can inspire and uplift anyone who sees it. The sun raise view point is a must-visit for anyone who loves nature and wants to experience a unique and unforgettable sunrise in Kanyakumari.

Mesmerizing view of sun rise early in the morning.... Its really beautiful. When the sun just rises from the horizon, you feel like blessed. Just have to wake up early to see this beauty. People will line up and gather like crowd... Have to find a nice place first to sit and watch. You can see Vivekananda rock from here.

Fantastic place can be viewed the best from the bars that goes from the shore to the island. Refuse to be a construction going on around the really tall statue. On the island. The if stone can get really hot so it is not suitable to sit or walk around. There are white painted sections on the rock which is much cooler for you to walk on it.

One of the most famous sunrise point in India- kanyakumari sunrise point holds great significance. People flock towards the sunrise point from 5 in the morning. We arrived by 6 (just on time for sunrise) there were almost 200 people already sitting on ramdom spots. Looking at the energy and crowd You cannot make out that its 6 in the morning. Sun arises from between both the statues and is truely spectacular. When in kanyakumari… try to sneak out of your bed early in the morning and witness it.

The Sunrise Viewpoint in Kanyakumari attracts all of us. The place which was surrounded by colourful buildings which gives us a Colourful, awesome view and creates a happiness. The place is very busy with tourists, locals, pilgrims and vendors! It is a place where you can see the mix of people from all walks of life. The view of the Swami Vivekananda's huge statue adjacent to the temple stand in front of the sun's spilling out of the clouds and colouring the sky gave away an amazing view!.

Awesome experience. Instead of walking up the crowded barrier, better to park at the small boat jetty near the church and enjoy the silence and the sight

Crowded and not peaceful at all... The sellers try to sell you all kinds of rubbish and just will not leave you alone for even 10 seconds. If you want to enjoy the sunrise peacefully - this is not the place for you, sorry.
