A good place to go if you visit Kaohsiung. The lake is clean and very peaceful. Nine crooked bridge is the most famous in the lake.

Great place for family bonding. 100NT parking fee. A sweet place also for lovers. There are also bicycles for rent inside the park. Bring water when you get here.

Kaohsiung residents, including foreign residents with a valid ARC have free entry at the gate. Definitely put aside a whole day if you want to walk around the entire lake. There are several Ubike stations and entire parking lots inside as well as outside the entrance, definitely use bikes unless you want to walk the many paths inside. The rose garden was beautiful with so many varieties but a bit patchy with the arrangement. Otherwise a beautiful, accessible and peaceful place to come walk around. Try to come on a weekday if possible because like many other public spots like this, it will be more busy during the weekend.

Nice place to walk around. Well maintained. Went on a weekday morning, it was very quiet and peaceful. Prepare to do lots of walking or biking if you'd like to cover most of the sights/areas of the park.

The lake is quite big.It is an important source of water supply.Beautiful scenic spot.

Beautiful lakes surrounded by gardens. Nice to walk around. I went for a walk one afternoon from the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital where my grandson was a patient and it was really an experience. It is a very huge lake. You will be tired walking the whole lake but you will enjoy it because there are so many things to see. Many beautiful plants and trees around the Chengcing Lake. One suggestion. You should buy a something to drink first before trying to walk around the lake. Fortunately, I had with me a bottle of mineral water. It was really a good experience.

100 NTD entrance fee. HUUUGE lake with a lot of walking or can rent a ubike. Very nice place for about 2-3h walk. Many WC down the path. Yes, some things are run down but I still enjoy my time there.

If you love nature, this place is a must visit.
