Experience here is just terrible. We got here around 9PM and a driver asked us to go to Lusaka and he pushed us to a car that is already full of people. They also said there is no bus so that a taxi is only option, but there are many buses that are waiting for passenger. Average price from tha station to Lusaka by taxi is just 200Kwacha. YOU SHOULD NOT PAY MORE THAN THAT!!!!

Spacious environment and a big Car park. Netball, basketball court by the car park. There's also restaurants and bars by the side, including the prestigious Santa Flo Bar and Restaurant. The waiting hall is spacious. Ideal for weddings and large gatherings. There's also Police to ensure peace and security.

TAZARA is a standard developing country train. It's a great way to the see the countryside of Zambia and Tanzania. I highly recommend the 1st class option for $35 from Lusaka to Dar which consists of 4 beds in a small compact room. The train is slow so this is a better option for those on a lose timeline. Also the reservation system is quite unorganized so triple confirm and still be ready to deal with not having a reservation upon arrival.

Good railway station but requires paint job and a concern for upgrading appearance

Yes this is the train station for the TAZARA train going to Dar Es Salam, Tanzania. The place is a little old and worn but does its job of keeping the heat of the midday sun away. The express train leaves on Tuesday at 4pm make sure to get a first class ticket around ($40) this also gives you use of the first class lounge at the station that’s open from 1pm it’s nothing special but better than the main area. You need to but first class tickets in advance at ‘Tazara house’ in Lusaka no online tickets are available here.

Kept well like 30 years ago. Hope Chinese come back to save this railway

The toilet is nearly unusable. If your train arrives after approximately 21 you will not be able to go anywhere till 5 in the morning, unless you take an overpriced taxi.

We arrived here very early in the morning. Everything was in a hurry so I ddnt really make to explore this place. Though I noticed there was a toilet though not in the best state.

This tazara station has enough space to accommodate alot of people

A place with resting room is this place and very comfortable, secured and safety. You can also hire this place for a wedding or anything💪🏾👌🏾
