Very disappointed, I would rate no stars but I have to rate at least one..... I typically DO NOT do bad reviews, I just simply let things slide but given the circumstances I feel it is much needed. First, it took forever for our server to approach us even though it was not busy at all, there were maybe two other tables dinning at the same time as us so we knew they were not busy. We noticed a group of 7 or less had just finished eating and left shortly after us sitting down. After 20 minutes or more the table was still not picked up or cleaned and it was just odd for us to see that since typically tables are cleaned immediately after customers leave. (This observation will make sense later) Secondly, we ordered the blooming onion as an appetizer and we were asked if it was okay if we got onion petals instead. We did agree since we were craving it. To our disappointment, instead we received a pile of oily chopped up onion pieces in a bowl that had an unpleasant taste and were not appetizingat all. Third, our steaks were not prepared the way we ordered them but, we had food on our table and we were grateful for that so we ate them. In summary, all the food was not up to par and unpleasant to eat. I was not planning on writing this until we were driving away and noticed 4 or 5 employees including our server "outback" of the restaurant smoking cigarettes and having a good ol' time instead of doing their job. The lack of service and attention to detail to the job made sense..... Very disappointed with the service and quality of food.

Outback Steakhouse Kapolei was enjoyable. Employees are polite and courteous. A rye roll of bread greeted us after being seated! The bread was warm, soft, sweet and even better with margarine! Orders come out in a fair amount of wait time. The waitress checked on our table often. Aussie-tizers Bloomin' onions, bloomin' shrimp and deep fried calamari were delicious! Their signature prime rib is the best! Also their Tasmanian chili, spicy and hearty with chunks of steak! Birthday person is celebrated with a scoop of vanilla fudge ice cream and a lighted candle! Call ahead to shorten your wait time! Ample parking!

They accidentally brought my wife an alcoholic drink but she's driving so the server let me keep the drink which is an awesome move. Cheers

Dinner was amazing tonight. Our server Pisa was very helpful and nice. The manager Danny checked on our table throughout dinner to make sure everything was okay and tasted delicious. He recommended the Loaded Bloom for appetizer and the special Tim Tam cake. Both were so delicious! definitely worth ordering again.

My husband and I came to dine in on Christmas Eve and our food was delicious! The customer service was awesome! We sat right away, they were very attentive with us making sure we were satisfied with our food. The staff was very professional and friendly, I definitely enjoyed my experience. Highly recommend for any occasion.

The wait was very short. We had to wait for the rest of our party, but received great service while we waited. As soon as our guest arrived we ordered our meals and they brought our meals in a short while. Ordered drinks, returned our soup for a different one and it was no problem. Packed our leftovers and ordered dessert. Everything was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. But the best thing was our service by our waitress Kylie! Thank you Kylie!

This Outback was another fantastic Oahu location. The meal was perfect from beginning to end. The person that sat us was fun and funny. We had an awesome server that was on it with drinks and food; plus a super nice food runner that was tag teaming to help. Food timing was perfect. Not too fast and rushed or too slow. Everything was cooked perfect. I did the two lobster tails, kids were on grilled cheese, hubs did filet and lobster. It's the perfect location when running errands. Everything is close by... Home Depot, Target, Costco and more. Starbucks is across the parking lot. Lots of easy, free parking. Easy to get in and out. I highly recommend this location for sure.

Went kinda late so couldn't get my rare prime rib but the rib eye totally made up for it! Also got their new Blueberry Lavender lemonade which is dangerously amazing!! Staff was friendly and accommodating!

Had a great anniversary dinner at outback’s Kapolei tonight with my husband. Greeted with a warm welcome at the door by the Hostess Janice. she was super sweet and welcoming. Didn’t take too long to get seated into a booth next to the bar. It was recommend by Janice as well. I think she picked up that we wanted to have a nice (quiet) dinner. she was on point with that. We definitely Prefer the calmer atmosphere vs by the bigger grouped tables. Soon after being seated at our booth we were greeted with another warm welcome by our waitress kylee (sorry if I spelt that wrong). Gave us more than enough time to figure out what we wanted to order. She was quick with noticing when we ran out of drinks, never had us waiting long, was very friendly and attentive even when she needed to help her other tables. Me and the husband were so full from the appetizers that we couldn’t finish our actual dinner plates. Everything was so yummy, me and the husband felt so bad we couldn’t finish. All in all, service was great, food was on point as always, atmosphere was great. Me and the husband have ordered take out from here before but for a first time sitting inside, it was a good experience. We will be back to eat inside again. Thank you!

Brooke is a wonderful bartender, we always look for her. She has an upbeat positive attitude and like any great bartender does, she remembers her regular guests' favorites!!! She also makes great drink and food recommendations!!!

I wasn’t able to post a picture of my food but, I absolutely loved the service I received. Erica was very nice and fast in what she was doing. She always checked to see if my family needed anything else and assured that despite the other customers she was helping, that she wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. She was absolutely fantastic and would definitely love to have her again as a server or see her excel in her job.

Nick was our server and he was awesome. Very hospitable and ready with recommendations. He consistently ensured our drinks were topped off and that the kids were taken care off (a great thing for a multi-family night out with friends). We rarely get desserts when eating out, but ended up getting the Tim-Tam dessert and split it with everyone. It hit the spot! Five stars, two-thumbs up, 100% Fresh.

Update 2022: we have been here several times this year for birthdays and celebrations. Food is still delicious. Service is outstanding. We came in for dinner. We were seated very quickly and it was a holiday weekend. Prices haven't change much, menu has a few new items. Busy night. Still popular. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love the food and service. Now they have call ahead list where You can even choose your time slot. You can use the app or web site. Also they have Wi-Fi finally a plus.

** UPDATE ** Hit up Outback on Tuesday night to try the "Tuesday Tails" deal. Seated at a bar booth with the bartender Royce as our server. Once again, our server, food, and runners all displayed top notch customer service! The main reason for my update is to give props out to, possibly the best Host person I have seen in action! This time I was able to catch his name, Darnell! What a beautiful soul, genuine, kind & really sets the tone for customers to have a great experience as soon as they walk in & as they leave. Can someone give this guy a raise!? Tipped him on the way out because his inner light truly brightens up the place & he should know his efforts are appreciated. Once again, nothing but good things to say about this spot! ** Initial Review ** Excellent service! Our host was super friendly. My wife and I used to dine at the Hawaii Kai Outback, which unfortunately closed, so we drove all the way from Kailua to give this location a try for lunch. There was adequate parking, and we were seated immediately since it wasn't very busy. We like to go to Outback mainly for the appetizers. So we ordered a Bloomin' Onion, Bloomin' Shrimp, Aussie Cheese fries and a Prime rib sandwich to share. The three appetizers were good and fried well, but our Bloomin' Onion was a small onion, and they forgot to give us the ranch that's supposed to come with the Aussie cheese fries. Service was alright. She never really checked on us, but she did make sure to fill out waters when they were close to empty. Overall, I like the Kapolei Outback, I'd most likely dine here again!

I have to say, after 8 years from my last visit, I am pleased. The food tasted better, and the price was still a little much worthwhile this time. Our server made it better.

Came here at Lunch, place was pretty empty on a Saturday afternoon. Food is decent for the price, would recommend the soup and steak. The bread was the best lol.

Needed a fast place that is well put together and has that family vibe. Kudos Outback Steakhouse team you get my vote for a goto when families from everywhere come visit. Nothing left but the bones, lol!

Went to dinner this evening with my grandmother and had Nick as our server. He was very patient and checked up on us often and provided excellent service to us both. He was warm and welcoming from the moment he came to our table. The food was always as good as can be. Always love coming here to relax and unwind.

This evening we had Nick as our server. He was such a wonderful server who made amazing recommendations. The prime rib with bacon butter was awesome. Our server was very attentive and great at checking on us to see how things were. Outback could definitely use more servers like him. Next time you come to Outback, ask for Nick and he’ll take care of you!
