This is a very nice place around biyagama divisional Secretariat. There are lot of birds and small animals specially hare, porcupine, fox and many more. As I remember before 5 to 10 years back, it looks like a small wet land. Also it is a small tank. One of the branch stream of Kelani river goes through this tank. But now it is completely polluted. There are 2 to 3 small stalls are operated by some people and whole area is polluted by adding garbage and specially polythene and plastic. No one has not realized the value of this wet land. Some political groups had tried to remove the mud of this tank without proper plan. As a result, they distroyed the tank and the area. Waste water from Biyagama processing zone also and many other companies pass through this stream. Also people used to put garbage this area. It is better responsible party can make actions to protect this bio diversity place.

Nice place.. beautiful sceneries, also nice view. Highly recommend for photographers pre wedding shoot and all other photographic activities.. this place is very famous for fishing 🎣 most of people come here and spend their life.. people in this area is very kind and very helpful.. no need to scare about surroundings.. but some days this road is fully flooded.. those days driving is very dangerous because there is no clue of the road.. road and the paddy field becomes one.. not recommended in flooded days.. there are some shops as well.. you can eat short is and other kind of short foods.. there is a temple also ❤️🙏🔥
