Very important toll plaza and bypass road route to connect chennai from Perungalathur to avoid travelling inside the city to reach porur/maduravoyil and koyambedu destinations. Roads are amazing and first class 6 lanes road and 3 lanes on the left and 3 lanes on the right side with proper divider. Toll is good to handle multiple vehicles but its very diffcult to come out from toll in case if we want to reach porur or other roads. Proper signs board and pathway is not provided. Very diffcult for new members or anyone in thie case

Worst Toll Plaza. Always there is a long waiting time. Their systems are damn slow, reading Tags ages. I wonder why NHAI is not taking any notice of this messy Toll plaza.

This place has heavy traffic during peak hours even with Fastag. Many people take the wrong prohibited route through two wheelers and four wheelers and come in the opposite direction posing danger to public standing at the bus stop.

Very bad approaching toll. Atleast one or two toll way will not work always. Fast tag detection tool long time. No toilet or sitting facility near toll

Porur toll is one of the main highways connecting Chennai to Kolkata. Last toll point the automatic slider doesn't work. The road from porur to vandaloor is kindaa damaged need to fix it. Drive safe.

Full crowd when it is Friday and Saturday. We can understand that there is no place to stand and near the toll so bikes are going in such a speed they are dashing the person who is standing over there. Proper action can be taken regarding these issues. Thank you in advance

Lane Roads are good near toll gate and so many bitumen bumbs on lane, No clear view and Fast Tag process take too much time. Everyday people spending more time to cross this Toll gate.

Still it's getting delay for crossing the tollgate. Even though the Fastrack facilities available it's taking time and can be reduced deploying more staff's. Also the public convenience is not at all maintained here.

Worst toll ever seen. Not complaing about toll charges etc., But maintenance of the road and the place is very horrible. Unlike other tolls where most of the lanes are opened, here only selected 2 to 3 lanes are open for passage even in the busy hours. Also poorly managed traffic at the juncture means delay in commuting time at peek hour. Infested with rowdy beggars who demands money even when travelling with family. Not sure if concerned person or government people notices this messages. If following done at the juncture, place will have easy rides at all time. 1. Close the road that branches of near the toll to pour and other suburbs. Instead direct routes though service road from and to Vanagaram and offload the traffic by clearing all the service roads. 2. Maintain all lanes to be open. Please use barriers. Initially it would be chaos but after some time the traffic will be smooth and regular.

Porur toll plaza is located between maduravayil and tambaram bypass. Those who want to avoid traffic, we can use this chennai bypass road. Lot of tea stall, hotels are available near to toll. Sometimes we need to face heavy rush to pass the toll. Now a days two wheelers are driving in all lanes, it causes a lot of disturbances to cars.

Fastag scanning not functioning properly. Due to that at the peak hours crossing the toll plaza is a teadious process by waiting there for a long time - due to manual scanning by the toll plaza staffs (Porur). Worst experience there for So many times.

Rated worst toll booth in India. Toll staff doesn't know local language & act as rowdy. Extreme traffic condition during peak hours. Those who plan to cross porur toll will have to start 15 min early to avoid traffic congestion.

It will be better if a common pay and use toilet is available near toll..Since it is a main place for many people to travel from different places it is very hard to find a restroom facility

No proper maintenance. Always we've to wait for atleast 3 mins. Most of the time their fastag system won't work properly. There is a language barrier they won't understand proper Tamil nor English.

During vacations, it is very crowded at the tool plaza. Police need to take action to stop the private bus not in front of Tool Plaza. After 100 meters they can stop their bus.

Good junction or bus boarding point for many people in and around porur. But it is not so clean near and around the toll gate..we can not wait and stay for long time due the bad smells around..admin people should take some good actions.

I got bus here for Thiruvannamalai It is best place for getting buses. But traffic is very high and there is no signal for crossing road and There is no rest rooms /toilets for Public. This is the root towards Flower and vegitable market of Koyambedu So traffic toll collections are high. If they provide facilities for public in that area like rest rooms/Public toilets and automatic traffic signals then it will be useful for public.

It's better to get your umbrella to save yourself from rain and sun if you are having Porur toll gate as a boarding point. Before the toll it will be crowded, but passing it you can park around plenty of space.. safe place as it is crowded place always

both the side there is a facility for 2 wheeler parking, standing at the toll is very hard. accessible towards south Tamilnadu buses. Dont try to travel in the bike without helmet always cops will be there to catch the vehicle.

Porur toll plaza is one of the most busiest and always fast moving toll plaza in Chennai area. All the mofussil buses from CMBT needs to cross via this toll plaza and the place is always busy with lot of vehicles moving around. There are some business places located near this toll plaza which is really relaxing one for those who are going for a long drive. Overall it was a good experience whenever I cross this toll plaza.

It is on the open road exposed to the nature be it rain or shine, with no one fixed point so you have to tell on which side of the road you are standing and then see if you have a name of a shop that you can provide the ils uber driver so that he can come come near to your location. The place has to improve the roads leading to the city having to be relayed post the rains and some shade has to be provide on either side for the passangers to disembark or board the buses.

Good area but there are very less ATM had to travel 2 km for ine atm

Considerably huge number of vehicles cross this toll but the speed of clearance is usually slow. The service roads have variety of shops catering to our needs like Tea shop, restaurant, juice Corner, vehicle service, parking space and much more. You can get Auto in nearby stand. But this place has no dedicated rest room or sun shade. It has less lighting around this place. At night, you may end up with a sense of fear of theft or something. This place have lot of potential for growth but under utilised.

I don't where all the toll collection money goes, they don't maintain anything properly including toll plaza itself, roads they are responsible for and also the traffi movement at the toll plaza.

One of the busiest toll plaza in Chennai, but it should be improved and cleaned. So many people are boarding from here but there is no proper lightings and road side shelters also. Ola also not coming in this sides. In night times it is not safe for girls. Poor maintenance

Every toll they should have rest room. Here no rest room. Bypass road also not maintained properly. Toll free is high. Lot of damages in road. Temporary fix also they won't do it. Staff behaviour is very worst. They will cheat people. Toll free they will take it twice in a single way journey. Reason they will not accept. Return journey they should take half toll free only within 24 hour. But they will take full amount. If we complaint they will ask goto office room and check. We have to explain to them atleast 15-30 min to get refund. After argue with them they will give refund amount. To resolve this issue you have to spend minimum 1 hour get your refund

All time trafic, still the toll is not removed though adviced to Remove as it's on city limits, the one in omr is removed, what stops this toll from being removed

Worst people, rowdy boys. No toilet facilities for public. Still collecting toll fees. I think there is basic facilities need to provide by the toll authority in all the toll gates. I'm wondering how they got permit without even toilet facility

In Toll plaza we will get more highway buses like trichy,rameshwarem,villupuram, kumbakonam,etc., but there is no buses for Chennai outer like porur, and all areas we need to go for koyambedu to go for chennai outer then we need to come again. There is no proper bus stop for any buses.

Although it is fast track lanes, takes time to cross during peak hours. No shops. Need to cross barricade to buy tiffin on emergency. Tyre picture shop and Petrol Bunk are available on the left side of the service road towards Maduravoyal.

No toll to be collected. Either the charges can be reduced, as we know not much maintenance has been carried out for the amount they collect.

Fastest toll with best hotels to eat and stay. Less trafic and nice spot to get bus for all South destinations.

Govt buses stand aside leaving way to other vehicles pass easily avoiding chaos and traffic

One of the worst infrastructure in the highway! There is down town near by but there is no subway or short cut to cross the highway. Have to go around 4km to enter the down town. However our people just pass through opposite direction just to cut the 4km travel. Government should comes with 30 years future plan at least. Still we have no choice.

I haven't observed long queues in this toll. Still I am cutting off one star because one day my fasttag balance was too low and I forgot to recharge. They mercilessly collected double charge for crossing the toll.

Now traffic less for crossing the toll plaza. Service road for bypass is very poor at some areas & fully dark. Collecting money for using bypass even though crossed many years

Availablity of ola and uber during rain is extremely low i waited more than 2 hour and even if i booked the vehicle they cancelled the ride,the auto out there are asking for lump of amount.

Too much traffic , since its near to city ,there is too much traffic held in this particular toll , during office time morning And evening traffic police need to take initiative to clear the traffic . More over this toll have bus pick up point as well , every toll has Rest room ,but this toll have no rest room , toll paid by every one . Why it's not notice to concern department.

Uneven road surfaces. Risky for two wheelers and pedestrians. Separate walkway for pedestrians required. For the toll collected, the by-pass road till Tambaram is poorly maintained, either lighting, landscape, assistance booth. Either toll should be scrapped or responsible authorities to implement the required for public for the toll collected.

Be watchful for People who crosses the lane mindlessly. Equipments need to be maintained well for quick scan of vehicles RFID! Took sometime while scanner didn’t work and used manual scan by worker!

Some what ok toll road not well maintained road, also it is unnecessary and waste of money in traveling via this route during peak hours and strictly don't travel in festival seasons. But if we see in other way, if toll is not there can experience heavy traffic all the time. The problem is near the vanagaram toll gate you can see always vehicles crossing here and there and also vehicles will come in wrong direction if traffic police is not available in the spot there is something need to be done on this by the government.
