A nice temple with a very quiet surroundings, at the time we visited the temple ,it was closed .We have worshipped the temple from out side the temple and we show a lady selling cajun,we spoke to the lady about the temple for some time before leaving the place.The temple is surrounded by trees making a greenish atmosphere.

It's amazing place for pray, very silent place. It's near by kasurina beech. That's also awesome for swimming. It's located form Jaffna home town 23km, and we need to travel more than 45 minutes. And it's also call by "ellathu sithamparam kovil"

During my visit, I was fortunate to witness a traditional puja ceremony. The rhythmic chanting, melodic hymns, and synchronized rituals created an ethereal ambiance that transcended the boundaries of time and space. It was a humbling experience to witness the deep devotion of the worshipers and to join them in offering prayers.

Karainagar sivan temple is mostly called as Elathu sithambaram. It got its name cause the poojas 🌸 conducted here are performed according to chidambaram temple in India🇮🇳
