This is a good place to charter a boat and go island hopping. Beautiful sunsets. There are lots of prawn nets laid out and fishing boats. Charty Beach Resort is a good place to stay on this beach. There is a smal dock on which boats can ve moored.

This beach is just 12km far away from Jaffna. You can easily reach me here. You can rent tubes and goggles. Very calm sea and recommend for a swim. But in these days there are some sea plants. Fresh water. And changing rooms are also there.

This is a very safe place to have a bath. No any waves and it’s just like a lake. You can have awesome sunset views here. There are options available around to have a fresh water bath after bathing in sea water.

Such a calm beach to make yourself relaxed. In my POV, There's a small shop in the opposite to the beach where the snacks aren't good ! Rather than that a good surreal place to be ! Haven't tried to get into the water so don't know if the water being clear, seems good.

Nice and beautiful beach.but less clean. I haven't see life guards there. But see is less deep and can swim about 75 m with out difficulty. It appearance change time to time. Good for the group trip and adequate space for large crowd. There are two summer huts in the beach. But those are not enough for the crowd. It will not provide shelter for the rain.

However as a drawback There are lots of sea plants collect in to the shore which seams like unclean. By asking local where they mention that this is seasonal thing. Overall nice beach with great view and seems less crowded beach.

Our family went their after this Corona lockdown for a little relaxation and especially j loved this Beach eventhough I love mountains more than beaches, I felt for this place. Everybody who visit Jaffna should go there.

Chaddy Beach in Jaffna is a hidden gem! The sand is soft and white, the water is crystal clear, and the scenery is breathtaking. The locals are also incredibly friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful beach - it's definitely worth the trip!

Chatty beach is one of the beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka with white sand and shallow water. You can walk in to the sea up to 10 meters and there after you can start to swim towards deeper part. It is better to visit this beach early morning or in the evening as the sun is very hot.

Beautiful and quite beach at jaffna kayts, has swimming facilities and life gurd support, but the beach is getting dirty. I hope they will maintain it properly. And it's a good place for Beach lovers.

This is another beach available in Jaffna peninsula with medium depeth sea with non-dangerous tidal waves so that you can enjoy a safe and joy full bath and this is close proximity to Jaffna town and special bus routs also available. there is a branch of very famous tilko hotel and a small grocery shop near the beach, the only drawback is public bathrooms and toilets are not well maintained and if velanai urban council take any action it could be most appreciated. please be aware of anchors placed near the tourist boats since it may harm if you fall over.
