The Moti Mahal Barbecues in The Marina Mall offers a good variety for the taste buds. Tha ambience is very good. You can go as a group and there is sufficient space to seat 30 odd people of a group together. Nice decor and the way it's been designed, I liked it. Service is also good. They come and ensure that your requirements are taken care. They were very supportive in terms of billing requests too. However the food was not so great. I had the Vegetarian one and they served a few starters including Crispy Corn, Panneer, Aloo Starter, Pineapple. However, i found the salt was less in Panneer and Corn starters. They also have live starters, who can prepare Chat, Pav Bhaji, Dosa varieties / Paniyaram, Kothu Parotta and Egg dishes. Pav Bhaji was tasty. On the main course, they offered Veg Pulao, Veg Fries Rice, Noodles, Plain Rice, Dal, Panner Curry, Veg curry options and Indian Bread. Nothing so great froma taste perspective. Their Poondu rasam was tasty. Deserts were ordinary and worth mentioning was Bread Halwa - which was nicely prepared. If you want to spend quality time with a group and have fun, definitely this place can be one. If the food tastes better, then a very good choice anytime.

A okayish place for choosing an unlimited buffet. The staff were courteous but seemed understaffed. The spread was not that impressive. Vegan options are quite less. They just had paneer, corn and potato starters as a veg option. No sign of the traditional Gobi or mushroom. The live counter was not that great. I tried chocolate dosa, Pani poori and penne . Tasted below average. For non veg they have fish and chicken items which tasted good. For the main course, the dishes tasted decent. The usual biryani and white rice. The dessert counter was a disappointment. Just cakes and ice cream of a few flavours. Nothing fancy. If you don't have any other options go for this place.

Awesome service by Ujjal and Sophia. Ambience is good. Al carte and buffet options available. Soup, 3 chicken dry, fish fry, prawns and veg dishes as starters.. honey chicken and prawns was good. main course had biryani, chicken gravy, mutton, fried rice, noodles, paneer etc.. live counters for fren fries, momos, chat items, and dosa...gulab jamun, bread halwa, jalebi, fruits, cake, custard and 4 flavours of icecream. Overall food taste is good...

For the Chennai people there are lots of barbecue options, This Moti Mahal Barbeque is doing great in terms of unlimited starters, main course and dessert. Their staffs are also frequently coming to the table and asking for the needs. Enjoyed the ambience. Ujjal a staff who was friendly and very much pleased with service. Recently we had lunch buffet here its reallyyy awesome...they serve all starters in table itself and they had wide range of varieties try them all reallyyy all tastes toooo good.... Main dishes also awesome in all bbq's they will concentrate on starters but here main dishes also too good... Our most favourite is tandoori chicken... Ambience also too good... We will visit again for sure... Must try 💯

This review is for veg buffet. There are lot of starters available, all were hot and tasted good Main course too was very good, except they don’t have veg Biryani. Curries were tasted good too. Desserts are good and lot of options available. There are live counters available to get Regional foods Seats are comfortable and well ventilated. However, I had one annoying issue.
