I used it for lunch. Perhaps because I entered the store around 13:30 on a weekday, there were no customers and it was comfortable. The building itself is old, so the store is decent, but there is also a smoking room, so it may be a good store for smokers at night. I ordered a set of ``oya'' and kake udon from the signature menu, ``Hone Tsuki Tori''. The kake udon is Sanuki udon, but I guess it's frozen noodles... it didn't have the unique wheat flavor of the authentic noodles, and the noodles had a very strong texture. The main dish, ``Honetsu Tori,'' is served on a stainless steel plate with cubed cabbage, and comes with kitchen scissors. As expected from “Oya”, it’s hard… But the more you chew, the more flavorful it becomes. If I were to eat it as a meal, I would probably prefer "Hina". I thought it was a good accompaniment to alcohol. I think this alone is a good value for money at 1,000 yen (excluding tax). The ``boned chicken'' was coated in oil, which I found a bit too spicy. I like it simply with salt and pepper. Overall, it was a restaurant that was delicious and had a high value for money. I was also impressed by the cheerful and proactive attitude of the female staff members.

The texture was different between the parent bird and the baby bird, so it was a dish that could be enjoyed twice, but it was a little unsatisfactory, so I added torimeshi for the seasoning, and mission accomplished! Thank you for the meal…

It's a 5-minute walk from the Shinjuku South Exit, so it's easily accessible! Order details✅ ・Seared bonito ・Soy sauce beans ・Bird with bone Oya Hina ・Sanuki udon First of all, the seared bonito was delicious. For 780 yen, you can eat such crispy bonito, which is a great value for money. The main dish, chicken with bones, tasted just like the one I used to eat in Shikoku...I didn't know you could eat this in Tokyo. Oya has a great chewy texture, and the more you chew, the more flavorful it becomes. The chicks are soft and juicy and perfectly cooked! I think these two are your favorites, but I definitely want to eat both!! ️ lol Also, the Sanuki udon is so amazing...I wonder if it's made by hand? I don't know if it's frozen, but is this quality of udon available at an izakaya? The noodles are so chewy that it's a winner!

This is a restaurant where you can eat ``Oyadori'' bone-in chicken, which becomes more and more flavorful the more you bite into it. I'm happy because parent birds are not readily available. It's irresistible for chicken lovers.

When I looked inside the store, I thought it was a store for the younger generation. The taste of the meat was salty, the atmosphere was brutal, and the number of people in the store was not wearing masks as they sipped drinks and chatted. I think there could be a little more respect for the customers.

I try to come here anytime I'm in Tokyo. LOVE this place. Food is great, though no English menu, so have google translate ready. The oil bath chicken is their staple and it is worth getting. Good place to comfortably unwind with no pressure to just eat and leave. Udon is also really good. A lot on the menu, haven't tried it all, but there is nothing i tried that I didn't like.

Easy place to go for a quick bite. Basic izakaya style seating. Would recommend for a quick, cheap, very casual dinner.

It's a normal izakaya. It's not that the customer service is bad, such as the mobile ordering system and free drink coupons, but it does feel a little strange in some places. ・One of the legs of the four-legged table was almost detached, so I was guided to a dangerous seat. ・The plastic that supports the cutting edge of the scissors for cutting chicken opens and comes off, making it difficult to cut. ・Reservations for the evening were full, so I made a reservation early, but even when it was full, the place was empty. As I said, they responded, It's not that the taste is bad, but I feel like there is a problem with the management.

The food is delicious and I have come back several times. Many of the staff were young and cheerful, and they were having fun. However, unfortunately, there are sometimes (often?) loud customers. Also, there was a time when I was drinking at the counter on a Saturday and the seats around me were empty, but I was kicked out after two hours without notice. This is a particular male clerk. There are other stores, so I'm thinking of going there next time.
