This cafe based roof top restaurant is situated very close to Thirumangalam bus stand. So people who are willing to visit this rooftop from different places don't need to take a cab or auto to reach this place. There is enough place for parking cars or two wheelers close to this place (street parking). As the name itself says "Rooftop", this cafe is solely operating on the first floor where there is open space and roof covered up with glass. So basically the view is nice. There is no lift access, but stairs are also not very steepy. The ambiance of this place is excellent and one of the best in Thirumangalam as far as I've explored. We are welcomed with a welcome drink. The quantity, quality and the taste of the food offered here are really justified for the price. I've visited this place twice and ordered different dishes, each and every dish was mouth watering taste. This place can accommodate atleast 40-50 people at a time. And they have got you covered even during rain times, so there is no need to worry on that part. Waiters/staffs here are friendly, and there wasn't much time taken for serving food as mentioned in most reviews. But the only thing I felt that need to be improved was that there is only one restroom close to this place, but wasn't tidy enough. On my view this is a must try restaurant/cafe in and around Madurai.

Giving overall review 1. About Ambience:- - Good Ambience when it comes to rooftop restaurent with plants decorated (Seat available upto 38). - Hospitality is good. - Serving takes a lot of time bcz only one person is doing it. 2. About Foods and Taste:- All the foods in the menu are Continental and Indian. Especially they have Arabic Rice is delicious(must try). We ordered - Alfredo white & red sauce pasta: Both are good, but white sauce pasta is Delicious (I'd recommend white sauce) - Honey chilli chicken: Which is tasted honey(ly)🍯 👌 - Arabic Rice: What's in it? It's delicious - Biryani: I'd not recommend this to try bcz taste wise it's not good. - Palak chicken: Which is good (It's a type of Greens(keerai)) - Parotta and Naan: are mostly the same - They have some dish which is not mentioned in menu Every food we've tried were good 3. What we not liked: - Firstly, while we were eating, cleaning lady came to us took the plate which we finished but she also took our glass (we're still eating). In a fraction of second it happened, we asked her to bring it back but she never did. - Secondly, we've ordered some food for takeaway. Idk why they took 1/2hr. Which made us to cancel a food.

NALAN ROOF TOP - THIRUMANGALAM: It was a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.they are really friendly, starter and main course "honey chicken, alfredo white sauce pasta (N-V), chicken tikka masala, Arabic chicken rice " delicious, mocktails: pino colada & paan soda - good refreshment Love this place and will continue to visit with family and friends.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nalan rooftop and I must say it was an overall delightful experience. The restaurant has a lovely ambience with great attention to detail in their decor and lighting, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was delicious and well-prepared, nice showcasing of the chef's creativity and culinary skills.and I would give it a solid 4 out of 5 rating. The service at Nalan rooftop was also impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. I would rate the service a 4 out of 5 as well. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

Nice food,good ambience and great time with friends in the night while watching cricket match.The environment is what makes it special,Must try foods are arbian rice,shawarma, roti items.Do visit at night and enjoy the vibe with the food

Tried a few items and everything was very appetizing and tasty. Didn't not expect such a quality and taste at Thirumangalam.

I would have never imagined such a good place in tirumangalam. Just go in the evenings and have a blast. Make sure to try their chicken kiev. Every dish was perfect. Highly recommend
