God, what a special gem in the center of the city! I can here specifically to purchase some pour over coffee filters, but stayed because of the nice atmosphere. You can tell that this is a loved place among the locals and the tourists due to the line that happens outside. The staff was extremely friendly and help when I asked for filter papers. Even when they had many people to serve. While there I got a Cortado which was very pleasant and full bodied. This will be now my favorite stop to go to when I am in the city center. :) For those interested, you can purchase filter papers from Kalita, and Hario V60 here. You also can purchase other equipment like pour over, a carafe and more. A very very nice plus! It is clear to see here that the cafe wants to bring quality coffee and culture to the residents and visitors of Munich. They even hold classes on to teach people about how to properly brew different styles of coffee. Which I love to take. Plus, I would love to help you find a new location in Munich. So please contact me and we can work something out. :)

They introduced me to specialty coffee! And I have to thank them for this fantastic experience. In short: amazing coffee, extremely friendly people, nice place. My story: I entered the shop a few weeks ago because I was curious about specialty coffees, of which I only heard something. I wasn't expecting much, but I received back a fantastic tasting experience accompanied by a great introduction and explanation of the whole world of specialty coffee. I have to thank the barista (of who I, unfortunately, don't remember the name), who was extremely kind and capable of transmitting his passion through his words and attitude. Really, one of the best experiences I had in a long time. Seeing such passionate people doing their job at the greatest level is heartwarming. I went there again the weeks after and plan to keep a fixed weekly appointment with them. I only know a little about specialty coffee, but I can recognize when someone does their job with passion and care. And this is, personally, the kind of experience I look for from these places. Thank you!

Insanely good espresso, 10/10. I got the flat white with croissant and couldn’t be happier. Not much seating, so beware of going as a group at busy times

Sweet Spot Kaffee is a hidden gem in the heart of Munich, Germany. This coffee shop may not be the largest, but it offers exceptional coffee from some of the best producers and roasters in the world. What sets Sweet Spot Kaffee apart is the passion and dedication of its team. They genuinely care about their craft and their customers, and it shows in every cup of coffee they serve. The team is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that every customer's experience is exceptional. Another impressive aspect of Sweet Spot Kaffee is the loyal following that the shop has managed to cultivate. It's clear that their customers appreciate a great cup or bag of coffee and the story behind it. The sense of community and camaraderie in the shop is palpable and adds to the overall charm of the place. Of course, the main attraction is the coffee itself. Every cup is a treat, with different flavors and aromas in each sip. It's evident that Sweet Spot Kaffee takes great care in sourcing their beans and ensuring that they're roasted to perfection.

Not even kidding: the best coffee I’ve had in my life. This was an unexpected highlight of my trip to Munich, and I’m truly sad to leave because I know I won’t be able to visit this shop anymore. I appreciate that oat milk isn’t an upcharge. I love the selection of coffee beans. I tried both the fruity and the nutty beans and they were my favorite shots of espresso ever. I’ll be thinking about these coffees for a very long time. The staff are some of the friendliest people I’ve met in Munich. Side note: I was also very impressed with the staff’s English-speaking abilities.

Their espresso tonic was legit! I am espresso tonic lover and it was super tasty. Not too much coffee, not too much tonic. Small space, so we had to stand, but nothing to be too angry about.

The shop is a lot of seeds to choose. 😍👍 The staff explained and the service was good. If you'd like to have a good cup of coffee with lots of seeds to choose from, I recommend this place.

Charming little specialty coffee bar in the heart of Munich. Two lovely ladies were serving, and they were incredibly friendly and efficient. I ordered an espresso and I have a choice of two. A delightful experience overall!

Friendly, attentive and thoughtful staff, excellent product quality. I had the flat white and a cherry filled donut that they warm up. Additionally, they let you choose the type of coffee for your drink.

Great little coffee shop a very short walk from the chaos and pain of the main square. Worth it! Delicious coffee. Simple small food, and great place to people watch

Tiny shop with a line out the door. But well worth a short wait in line and standing outside to drink (but still served in a ceramic cup). They have 2 grinders and I opted for the alternate choice which was exceptional. This place has a sometimes unusual combination.of making fantastic coffee, I mean it really is very good, while also being super nice and friendly.

Based on my limited time in Munich, this is one of the better coffee places here. Coffee was nicely roasted. Although, the 4 times we had oat flat white made by different baristas, they delivered inconsistent quality. Some were very acidic and some were nice and smooth. Will still come back nonetheless!

It is a tiny place but pleasant to sit inside or outside behind Marienplatz and watch people walk. I love their coffee beans, they are passionate about coffee and can explain where the beans. The coffee isn't bitter and it isn't a place "just to make insta friendly pictures", ha!

Very good coffee!!! Especially because they have oat milk!! 👍 service was very respectful and straightforward. No complaints. they have Wifi as well however not so many outlets (actually only one) so it makes working in the Cafe fairly difficult. Otherwise overall a Recommendable cafe.

Nice specialty coffee store. They have many interesting coffee varieties and also prepare Filter coffee by order. Nevertheless I was a little bit disappointed by the espresso but that was just since it was not my favorite coffee sort. It is a bit pricey too

I don't usually write reviews but this shop is special and totally deserves a great one. The shopkeeper was so nice and recommended me a great roast and grinded it for me. It's the best coffee I've had in such a long time. I'm going to come back and stock up on the blend before it's gone, although I'm looking forward to the new roasts coming in as well.

6 stars. I asked my wife what's the coffee place called.. "heaven" she said. Sums it up. I've been to all the hipster coffee shops in almost every major US city and these guys are as memorable as all the greats. I wouldn't come to Munich without stopping here

Had flat white with Honduras bean. Love the flavour, but body was a bit on the weak side. Would have been better if the milk was heated with smoother texture.

  • 5/5 Emre P. 2 years ago on Google
They have a really expensive espresso machine and also high quality beans from various roasters. You have 2 options to choose, which bean you want your coffee to be. The espresso I drank had a nice and complex aroma, which was from mexico. Overall one of the best speciality cafes in Munich. I recommend it highly if you like drinking high quality coffee.

Perfect oat cappuccino, their name describes the experience accurately.

I had great drip, the concept is appealing. It's a small shop, so seating might not be available. I was lucky. There's is one thing that many Munich specialty coffee shops share though. If you ask questions about a non familiar concept, baristas aren't the friendliest and give you a condescending vibe. I personally prefer friendly service over some outstanding concept.

Coffee is great quality. Also selling beans from various roasters, in a rolling fashion. Never gets boring. Knowledgeable staff that can help and educate if needed.

Best coffee spot in Munich. Friendly and helpful staff, everyone speaks English. Delicious coffee, nothing fancy. Love the selection of beans to purchase, they are always changing it up so every time is a new experience. Highly recommend

This is a great gem. It’s located right by Marienplatz and is the third wave coffeeshop you don’t expect to find right by a touristy area and that you’re delightfully surprised. It is a very small place with a few outdoor seating options. There is no indoor seating. They also sell coffee beans and other coffee related products.

  • 5/5 Mariarti 1 year ago on Google
Great place with great coffee choice. It is in the city center, there are friendly baristas with English knowledge and also there are some options to have a light breakfast: croissants & some baked stuff. Be aware that it’s crowded in the morning and the inside area is really small ~ 6 people. Other than that - definitely recommend to stop by if you love alternative coffee

I came here every single day during my stays in Munich. I love the smiling icon in the cup, love variety specialty coffee beans & espresso also, the cakes are really good. The baristas are nice, helpful & friendly. Do recommend!

Small local shop near tourist area. Coffee was okay (tried the latte while I should have went with the filter coffee). Staff could have been more friendly to tourist.

Very good coffee. I have been hunting for a good place for coffee in Germany for several weeks and this certainly was the best I have come across! Worth trying all the beans they have available ;)

  • 5/5 Sean C. 2 years ago on Google
Best coffee we have had on our German trip so far. I always pick the place that sells flat white as that usually means they have good coffee and I was not disappointed with this place. Perfect location and staff were very friendly.

  • 5/5 Ramon M. 1 year ago on Google
This is probably the best specialty coffee shop in town. Staff was kind, coffee selection was fair, coffee beans to buy selection was good. The place is small with a good vibe, guys are doing their best. Unfortunately, they don’t serve pour over coffee. Recommended anyway!

  • 5/5 Gina W. 1 year ago on Google
The coffee I was looking for in Munich however, if coming from Australia/New Zealand, ask for double shots as the roasts are quite light and delicate which is perfectly fine if you prefer that style. I personally prefer my coffee on the stronger side and asked for a double shot cortado which hit the sweet spot. Very cute little coffee spot with beans available for retail sale.

Decent coffee but card machine was broken so had to go searching for an ATM. Then we lost our place In queue and ended up waiting ages.
