Worst service ever..We reached the place around 2 pm ..went there cuz so many good reviews and good rating.. But after we reached there ,had to wait for 45 min that too with an infant to just go get a seat inside .. staff with no sense of management of time or people.. didn’t even inform whether there are seats, when can we go inside, there is not even a seating arrangement for people waiting .. when they hardly have space inside their ac room.. hardly 8 dining sofas Don’t even get me started on the food, firstly pathetic service by the staff… the guy won’t take the order , gave us menu after 10 mins then had to call him more than twice to make him take our order..almost felt like he didn’t want us to eat only.. ( I know sounds funny but it was that bad) in their veg meal paratha was undercooked, rice was undercooked.. non veg meal fish was undercooked.. so i dont even know why this place is hyped..it’s overpriced, very poor service, no time management , food is not good .. just go there at your own risk… you need around an hour to wait outside their homely restaurant to get food and service that is going to make you regret..!

Seafood is one thing that makes us Goan go weak in the knees. So we heard about this place and travelled 100k just for food. The hype didn't last long, we tried a variety of seafood and fish thalis, nothing came close to our expectations. Seafood was mostly deep fried, something we Goans detest. The thali was ordinary, nothing stood out. Bottom line it was a fail for our Sunday expedition. There are much better places in Karwar for Seafood, try Amrut.

What an awesome experience! The fish curry was just perfect. Taste flavour and spice level was just perfect. Shell fish preparation was too good as compared to what we get in Goa. I had more expectations from Prawns ghee roast. This was just good. Prawns Biryani is a must try.

One of the finest meals last week. Awesome seafood! Superbly well priced. A hugely busy place with a high turnover. Recommended by many of our friends it was truly worth it! Don't miss the Butter Garlic Squid!

After long search for hotels in karwar we found this.. The food is amazing, they cook everything fresh, ambiance and interiors also looks so pleasant..i loved the food and more over I loved the wall arts over there. Cost is also very nominal. You can try any dish and you will never regret for choosing this hotel.

Food good !! Service is way very poor !! If you very hungry not a place to visit!! If you enough time it’s not really worth visit They are not able to handle the crowd ! You have to remind in the reception - No one has come to take orders for food - you got to follow up the status of the order Net net - if you hungry oh May visit other place !! We were served food May after over 25 mints Crab charged 650 not worth !! Very expensive not from the hotel which is near the coast line

We have tried this restaurant in Karwar today and it was awesome. We will get delicious fish meals there that too on our choice... We have also ordered squid fry and Pranwns fry which was also delicious. This is a must visit place if you are looking for a dineout in Karwar especially for seafood items

Absolutely loved their crab ghee roast. Also very good prawn butter garlic. Other fish fries were also good. For fish and seafood lovers, take a regular fish meal and add on your fish/crab/prawn/squid fries, ghee roast etc. It becomes very crowded at times, quite cramped dining hall and you may have to wait for table to be free. Service is fast and place is clean. Price very reasonable, specially if you are coming from tier 1 cities. Highly recommended for fish lovers if you are around Karwar city.

The must stop food place when enroute through Karwar. Awesome non veg paradise seafood is Karwar style , veg is also available but the seafood aroma would be very prominent

Amazing food stop on the way to Manglore or even if you drop by when visiting tilmati beach. Taste is splendid. Chicken was cooked so good. Not that costly as well. Good to grab some lunch here.

Fish meals was aweful. Biriyani meat was not fresh n additional charges was asked for raita when biriyani is ordered.Better to have fish meals in Goa than this place.

This is a must visit place if you love sea food. Food supply is fast. I tasted a fish thali - 2 chapati, rice, fish curry, one king fish rawa fry, kokum juice, and crushed dryfish sauteed with onions and chillies. I also tried bangde fish masala fry, squid ghee roast and prawns sukka. The winner was prawns sukka. It was one of the best food I tasted. Also came to know that the owner's wife is the one who prepares masala for all types of fishes. Tried chicken biriyani also. Even that was good. I give 5 star for its homely taste.

So many people recommended this place , and to say the least it deserves all the hype. The fish here is really very very fresh and very well prepared too. There are hardly any restaurants which after eating make you feel good and definitely this is one of them. Must try items are tisre cutlets, mussels rawa fry. Fish curry rice . The service and the PPL are also nice and friendly.

Visited this place on way to Goa . Had Fish Thali which was very satisfying and great in taste . The ambience also was good . Would Recommend if visiting Karwar or Enroute

Amazing place. Had my Lunch and Dinner both here. Great food, great taste. The price is a little higher compared to the quantity you receive but it's still worth a try for the taste. Definitely recommended👌

Best place to have homestyle seafood in karwar!! Shells, oyester are must have,ishon thali and crab. Avoid peak hours to avoid rush and to get better service..

If you are a sea food lover then this is one of the best restaurant to visit in Karwar.

I was recommended to this place by a local resident while I visited Karwar, so with a hungry belly and high expectations I headed to the restaurant and I tried their Special seafood thali. They also got an option to choose primary seafood for the meal (for example - Pomfret, Mackrel, Kingfish, and others depending on the catch), in my case I chose Prawns, maybe that was the call I got from some invisible forces. The taste was amazing and unlike a standard seafood meal where you get similar-tasting side dishes, they serve different side items along. For me, there were small bowls of shellfish dry, crab curry, dry prawns chutney, and french beans dry. Rice and Curry are the primary items you get along with any meal. In addition to this, I also ordered Squid fry which was also good. The service is also good and quick. I highly recommend this place while you are in Karwar.

Excellent food portions compared to other restaurants nearby. A 30min drive from Palolem beach to here for just the food is a absolutely worth it.

This is a small place located on the happening street of Karwar. Well known and highly recommended by the locals, this lunch home serves delicious meals and plenty of seafood options. We had our lunch on the first day of our trip. Tasty food and good serving size satisfied all in the family. Traditional meals with fish or other seafood options are better than the fried rice preparations.

Super food. We ate prawns and surmai fry. It was really well made. Pomfret Thali had all the variety you would expect from a Konkani place. Service is fast.

Not Happy With The Service And Quantity. Been Here For Dinner Was Ordered "Bangda Fish Thali" The Size Of Bangda Fish Was Quite Small. Also In Thali They Did Not Provide You A Bhakri Or Chapati If You Needed The Chapatis Then You Have To Negotiate With The Quantity Of Rice. Because In Inclusion Of Chapati In Thali They Provide You Half Rice Instead Of Full. About The Taste It Was Good But Am Surely Not Happy With The Quantity.

I am from Pune. We a group of 3 friends was holidaying around coastal Karnataka. From Udupi to our way back home we stopped at Swetha Lunch Home for dinner at around 9.30 pm. It wasn't hard to find the place. It was near the highway and the adjacent city road to this hotel was quite wide so no faced no issue with Parking. The place is not that big but it was fully occupied by people and families which meant it was pretty popular amongst the locals. We ordered Fish Thali and Anda Masala both were excellent. The Chapati was not that good and the staff seemed to be overwhelmed by the crowd. When we ordered a second fish dish the staff was quite reluctant to bring the dishes. It was understandable as it was about their closing time of 10 pm. Make sure to order special Chapati if you must as the regular chapati is meh. I would be happier if they had served us more welcomingly but tastewise it was great.
