The WORST service I have ever experienced in such cafe with nice atmosphere. I was there before the opening hour. At 11:00 the man came out and started to prepare the signboard and the chair. Although there were 3 people waiting for the opening, he did not greet nor even try to make an eye contact. When he finished preparation, he went into the cafe and then he strongly opened the door and stood beside the door inside. He did not say anything but his eyes were saying "Hey you, aren't you coming in or not huh?" and I just jumped into the cafe. I was also surprised that even there were plenty of seats available, the person in the 3rd was asked to wait stood by the entrance as she was waiting for one more accompany. The store proudly announcing that the interior was renewed with opened kitchen style. But since no employee in this cafe cares about customers, this kitchen is always making huge noises of plates bumping in the kitchen etc... The food itself is very reasonable and just fine, it is really pity that this cafe cannot properly handles customers. They really should think about customers how they feel about their attitudes and the atmosphere.

Freshly cooked home style food. Close to local nara attractions. Good for tourists to try fresh home style cooking. The decor is very basic and simple but has a relaxing lightly dimmed environment to enjoy your lunch.

Better lunch in Japan is hard to find for the variety, quality and price. Every meal was a delicacy. I've never finished a bowl of miso soup, but here I would have finished two. Great and polite staff as well. Make sure you don't miss out on this gem.

Came across this restaurant by chance. They had only 2 items on their menu and I had the deep fried meat balls set. I’m surprised by how delicious it is! It looks really simple but it tasted healthy and super good. This deserves the 5 stars rating.

Nice ambience, good food with affordable price. They serve different set menu for each day. Warm hospitality with delicious dishes. Highly recommended.
