During our stay at Hotel Rock Fort for our wedding anniversary, the rooms and location were rather standard. food is tasty. However, what truly made our experience exceptional was the way the staff, specially Mindaka helped us celebrate our special day, making it incredibly memorable, and for that, we are truly grateful. Overall, considering the price,we were pleased with our stay.

Just had three wonderful nights here. A group of 20 bikers from Australia and these guys could not do enough for us. Great service, views, location, cold beer and the breakfast is the best we have ever had. Local family business and super friendly. Would say the best place to stay in the area hands down. 6 stars.

We'r incredibly disappointed with my recent experience at this hotel. My friend had planned wedding here, and it turned out to be a complete disaster. Despite confirming the number of guests well in advance, there was an appalling shortage of food plates. Around 20 of our guests were left without meals, which is completely unacceptable for such an important occasion. The lack of organization and attention to detail was evident, and it cast a dark shadow over what was supposed to be a joyful event. I strongly advise against considering this hotel for any important gatherings, as their inability to fulfill their commitments can ruin the most special moments.

The service was 1000000% best since i entered the hotel. I went with my brother and my girlfriend. Bought a room for 3 people. The price was very very affordable too. And the service exceeds the price given for everything.the food was very well prepared.Very friendly staff members. Helped me every time, when i needed something. The service was very quick too, i didnt have to wait long after ordering something. They brought everything quickly to our room. The rooms were very clean and we had the best view from our room.the facilities in our room was top notch too. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay a vacation and relax for a affordable price. We had an excellent 2 day vacation here. The safety of this place was 1000% too.

Very good place. Clean rooms. It's not a budget hotel but not high expensive too. Very friendly staff very supportive. Food not bad. But there is no beach access that's the only downside. Overall recommend for any one.

Our family room was very comfortable, large and view from the balcony was lovely. Overall standard of the Hotel and the exceptional service from the staff was second to none. We will certainly be staying here again.

We enjoyed the beautiful scenic views in the surrounding area. The room was clean and AC was good. Service was amazing and the breakfast was delicious.Would highly recommend.

Overall experience is amazing… actually the staff and the management is so friendly and so flexible. The hotel is decent, good location , 5 minutes walk to the busy beach. Very very friendly staff. Starting from security guard to general manager. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Our room had views of all 2 walls, floor-to-ceiling windows, a gorgeous view of the sea, 10 points!!!! Front office Incharge Mindaka - very friendly men

This hotel is amongst the most reasonably priced and closest to the beach I could find in Galle, I liked the hotel staff customer service- upon arrival we were given wet towels and orange juice to refresh ourselves before check-in. They were always eager to help and beds were amongst the most comfortable in Sri Lanka. Bad points - Most of the hotel facilities were not available l.e, the sun lounge area near pool, spa, restaurants. The hotel and rooms were suffering from corrosion so some of the doors had rust and deformation so wouldn't close smoothly. Rust is apparent everywhere. Some of the sea view rooms has visible views of construction of the new floor of hotel next door 😅, also keep your curtains closed as the construction crew can definitely see into your room.

We had a wonderful stay at the Rock Fort Hotel- Unawatuna. The rooms were spacious, well kept and clean. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were modern and spotless. The staff were very kind and attentive. They dealt with all my requests immediately and made me feel welcome. The food was delicious and varied. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a lot of options, from traditional Sri Lankan dishes to continental cuisine. The dinner was also amazing, especially the seafood curry and the rice and roti. The service was excellent and prompt. The staff were always ready to help and provide anything I needed. The location was perfect, just a few steps away from the beautiful Dalawella Beach. The beach was clean and quiet, with soft sand and clear water. I loved watching the sunset and the turtles on the beach. The hotel also offered some activities and tours, such as yoga, surfing, whale watching, etc. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. It was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.

Rooms are just average, but for the price, you can find better, more comfortable, and spacious rooms. No where near 3 star. Food is the biggest disappointment here. It is clear that the management is cheapening out massively in this regard. Very limited spread and there's general lack of meat items. Staff actually try their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible but there is only so much they can do with the limited amenities available. Might have to walk a couple of kilometres to come across a good beach because direct beach access from Hotel Rock Fort is literally rocks.

It’s a Good place to stay to have experience in Sea Bath at Surroundings Comfortable with wash Rooms to be little improvement. Reception is very good with communicate professional manner Breakfast is good today and enjoyed with it. Thanks for everything and hope to see you again. Cheers .
