Only reviewing the restaurant. I was surprised to read positive reviews and had such a poor experience. I dined here with my partner and ordered the grilled prawn starters. It arrived just the prawns and none of the sides (avocado and pickled onions) as mentioned on the menu. When I asked the server, he said “the kitchen is out of avocado, that’s why”…. So pretty much I was served part of the meal, which blew my mind because they should have come and told me, so I could cancel and order something else… common sense! And the server didn’t even fix the problem and charged me full price for it. Next, we ordered 2x BBB burger. Both our our beef paddies were raw. It was at this point, we finished up, settled the full bill and left. I don’t recommend eating here, simply for these reasons. Lastly, it’s way too overpriced compared to ALL other nicer restaurants in Mirissa. Only good thing is the view.

Arguably the best burger near Weligama 🍔 Good quality ingredients and the side potatoes are incredible. You can add extras to it like bacon or avocado. But they are a bit pricey.

I only used the cafe/restaurant. I honestly don’t know how they got the high ratings. The place is not comfortable and there are no fans which is pretty annoying. Food is good but definitely not worth paying double the price for an avocado toast. It is pretty much similar anywhere in Weligama. Also we ordered ice-coffees and they brought them with milk without asking us. When I showed my disappointment, they didn’t offer to renew it. I suggest them not to take the previous ratings for granted but focus more on the customer service

Had a great dinner here last night, the service was fast (perhaps because we were the only ones there) and the food and drinks were very good! Staff friendly and helpfull. Would highly recommend!

I ate at the Cafe in the back of the Hostel. It is very modern looking, super nice staff and have nice verity of foods, I ordered the Avocado toast which was very tasty but small portion comparing to what you pay.

Waiting 1hr15 for food for 2 people on a quiet night. Food was alright but fish was over cooked and v expensive for what it was. Went for a cinnamon bun another day - again, so expensive for something TINY, very bready, and not enough cinnamon

We didn’t stay here, only ate, late at night with a large group; we were easily accommodated and the food was lush. The balcony was beautiful and the breeze was generous; great lighting, atmosphere, and service.

Ceylon Sliders has a wonderful space created ofr charing all the best food! The coffee is my favourite on the south coast. Also I can recommend the Tuna Steak as it is cooked to perfection every single time! <3 The staff is caring and notice everyone. The shop has the best selection of bikinis, t-shirts, boards & more. We had an incredible stay at Ceylon Sliders! The breakfast and lunch menu is absolutely delicious, and our room was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated with stunning photos. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, providing excellent service with a friendly attitude. We can't wait to visit and stay at Ceylon Sliders again. Thank you for an amazing time!

Compared to lots of other places around, coffee & food were quite average & at same time more expensive. Stuff very friendly though! Went here coz they had a generator during power cut.

We came here for dinner & it was great - had the pan seared barramundi. The cocktail menu is amazing, many drinks with inspo from all around Asia!

Came here for dinner on Christmas and ordered the Fish cakes, veggie burger and Chicken teriyaki bowl. Food was good but the ambience and music was even better. You can hear the oven crashing at night and allows you to truly have a relaxed evening. Drinks are also great. Prices are a tad bit high.

Great food and service. We sat with the ocean view on the rooftop: it was really nice! We shared a few dishes - very nice to have a few bites and the homemade sodas! Would recommend.

What a little gem of a place! We didn’t experience the terrace as we were there in the heat of the day and rightfully it is closed. This meant we set in the quaint back court yard. We ordered two bowls (Tuna & Chicken Teriyaki), Fish burger and eggs/bacon on sourdough. Each dish was simple, delicious and super fresh. Flavouring gentle (personal taste but I would have loved a bit more heat and salt in places). Everything plated beautifully. Drinks inc. coffee to rival Sydney’s best. Service friendly and cheerful. It’s the kid of place you want to have around the corner on holidays!

Had dinner here and the burgers were good but the burger buns were really dry and it was way too expensive for what they were. The crispy potatoes they came with however were absolutely delicious! Looked like a good menu and the place is nice but the prices need to come down to be more reflective of the area.

Both ordered the BBB burgers and they did not disappoint. Bread was dry but the burger was awesome. Great service and cold water which makes all the difference ahead of other places. Prices are steep, menus have definitely gone up since the last menus online. 3500rps for the burger with potatoes is a lot but it was tasty.

I recently tried the BBB Beef Burger at Ceylon Sliders and I have to say it was absolutely amazing! The burger was perfectly cooked to my liking and had the juiciest, most tender beef patty I've ever tasted. The combination of flavors with the caramelized onions, bacon, and secret sauce was simply divine, and the burger bun was fresh and perfectly toasted. Not only was the food delicious, but the ambiance and service at Ceylon Sliders was fantastic. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. I would highly recommend trying the BBB Beef Burger, or any of the other amazing dishes at Ceylon Sliders. It's definitely worth a visit!

Food was fresh, garden was cool, and the beers were cold which was welcomed in the 40 degrees. Great coffee too! Worth the effort to go.

Food and drinks are nice, coffee is really good. Their smashed baby potatoes that come as a side to their burgers are really tasty, but the veggie patty can be worked on a bit texture wise as it was falling apart when eating. Stylish place with nice views of the bay.

We stayed 4 nights in Ceylon Sliders and we can't recommend it enough! We were uncertain if we should travel because of the challenging situation Sri Lanka is facing, but after reassuring us that it was safe to travel we decided to take the flight. The hotel arranged a pick up for us from the airport, which was smooth and we reached our destination in 2 and a half hours. The hotel staff is great and they really did everything to make us feel welcomed and well taken cared of. We loved the breakfast and since we were usually out for the day we reached back for the sunset time- perfect time for the happy hour and enjoy the sunset views from the rooftop! They really did amazing job and was a perfect stay for someone who likes to stay in a safe and clean place with beautiful design. We had a little balcony where we could have our yoga session in the morning. They also provided unlimited water in the room and also when we were dining. The hotel also provided bycicles for free of charge, was great way to cycle to the nearest surfspot, go for a massage or go around and explore the area.

Restaurant review: LOVED THIS PLACE! And I still think about their corn fritters… I went here for breakfast twice and for dinner once while staying in Weligama and had a good experience every time. Dinner on the roof top in the evening was really pleasant and pretty cool and breezy too. Lovely food and great coffee too!

We had dinner here and it was great! It's like shared dining if you want (smaller portions) so you can try a lot of things
