I was looking for a hotel near pashupati nath temple and found this hotel through booking.com, went straight to the receptionist, checked the room(not so clean though), we went down and started negotiations. Receptionist was so rude, doesn't know how to speak to the customer, was charging me higher than the online prices and when I tried to show him the online price, he just asked to find another hotel. Very Dissapointing.

Hotel didn't have any any information about our booking even after 10 days of pre-booking. Dirty bedsheets, cover, window curtains towels. No dustbin bags, mosquitos wondering around (and couple of staff folks argued that there are no mosquitos)... 1 over burned paratha on the name of complementary breakfast... When I complaint of paratha, I was told that we don't have chef. Had to request for evening cleaning dinning table and too much of hassles and literally passed two days of stay here. google reviews are misleading and hotel booking charges were too high from agoda as compared to offline booking charges... Overall felt like cheated, can share pictures as proof if asked.

The Pashupati Nath temple is also very good and it takes only 3 minutes on foot. It is a very good and beautiful place

It was very near to pashupathi nath temple, Hospitality was good food was good and room price was in range as when I check that hotel. Staff was good. It's near to Gushala around 500 metre walk distance. best thing is break fast free and you can ask what you want to eat.

Nice hotel nearby pashupatinath temple in gaushala, Kathmandu. If you want to go to pub or night club then after 12 am it's closed the door.

No any room service available. At the time of booking u have been told that u will get all service but actually no one bothered to treat you as guest once you check in here... Worst experience. So pathetic.

Hotel is near pashupatinath(walking distance 5 min), The co-worker of the hotel is sweet and co-operative and the services of the hotel is good and we like the hotel.Hotel is very sensitive about taking currency bahut nakhare se leta hai. Ye not ganda hai ye not fata hai. Unnecessarily create problem for customer.This is a great complication.

The location is strategic and the staff was polite. Now, all the other things were beyond pathetic. Extremely unhygienic, no ventilation in the washroom. Very dirty washroom. Can't recommend.

Stayed their for 2 days, it was very nice and comfortable with best service, hotel is at very prime location 100mtr straight to Pashupatinath JI, staffs were very good, we planed local sight seeing and Janakpur trip through hotel and it was very comfortable and budget friendly, rooms were decent as per price range moreover it’s pure veg hotel which is quiet difficult to find in Kathmandu

Only the location of the hotel was fine along with the behavior of the staff. But believe me it's is highly unhygienic, stinking. They didn't even have ventillation in the washroom and the glass of the washroom door wasn't there because of which the entire room stinked. The towels were super dirty and stained. Washroom was in extremely pathetic state. My trip to you please don't stay here unless absolutely required.

Hotel has a very good location, just at the entrance to the Pashupatinath temple and the river with all the cremations. Very special place to visit during the day or in the evening. Hotel has a simple rooms and very kind personell.

For a short stay it's good. Don't expect much from in the name of service and quality but near to the Pashupatinath temple.

Worst experience till yet. Over priced with no cleanliness. Even found payment receipt of previous customer on our beds means even bed were not cleaned. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone

It was my first visit to Pashupatinath & Kathmandu, Nepal. Initially tried to book shiva shankar hotel room on MMT but wasn't successful so found the contact information on their website. Once I was able to contact Projwal ji, he was very supportive. I got a decent room at reasonable price- I had read other reviews also before going there but since it was very close to Pashupatinath, I thought I'll change, if required, once I would know the location but it wasn't necessary at all. I have given 5 star for the stay at this hotel for 6 days for reasons given below. The rooms are small but well maintained - it's a budget hotel and services are quite well accordingly. Food is great- Nepali veg thali for dinner is very good. Reception and waiting place are all well maintained and staff is very friendly and co-operative, Sushil ji & Dipesh ji will be politely responding to everyone. I went there for puja-sadhana for the purnima on 8th Nov- and everyone helped to get the necessary items & quality products shopping also. They were genuinely helpful to learn & understand about different places- where I had to visit including travelling by bus to Gorakhpur, India via Sunauli border. I would recommend this hotel to genuine spiritual people who are visiting Pashupatinath for puja-sadhana and who would like to meet genuinely helpful people in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The room was nice but the staff was not co-operative, the worst part being when we were having dinner at the roof top, we weren't provided with the 'water drinking glasses', even when we asked! and the dinner being well expensive and no good this was all kinda disappointing. So, I am just hoping for them to improve in future.

Lot of bedbugs no proper lighting in rooms and dirty bedsheets

Very bad rooms. They have very compact rooms with cockroaches in the bed. The staff is cooperative but the manager is not good. All rooms have cockroaches.
