One of the best Coctail bars in Kathmandu with regards to ambience , decor & music True to the nature of speakeasy bar , hard to find and locate , but once you Enter , the decor and ambience of truly world class bar Cocktails are better than local bar in Kathmandu but misses that magic touch of mordern day true Mixologist 1995 rupees cocktail tasted like Laphroig mixed with sweet syrup ( waste of such good whiskey ) 2nd cocktail , Cognayak was perfect with fine balance of Mausambi cordial sweetness paired with cognac Whiskey sour was nice , nothing extra ordinary First course ordered was Chilli oil momo after first drink , better than most momos I had so far in Kathmandu which paired well cognayak Ordered slider at 0950 pm , server comes back at 1003 pm and says we can only serve momo’s after 10 pm I already had momo , requested the server politely , if Kitchen can manage it , since I ordered food well before 10 pm , server responded after 10 pm we cannot serve you anything except momo’s Requested for the manager , manager said that’s correct we cannot serve anything after 10 pm and we don’t mention it anywhere , but that’s how it is I mentioned to him order was placed well before 10 pm , if that’s d case, and tomorrow you can close the food order at 9 pm or 0945 pm according to whims and fancies of chef or manager He went back to the kitchen and found out there was no head chef and only helper was available , hence food can’t be served Disappointed with this attitude of making a fool out of customer , hence 1 star for service Modern day customer understands the service industry and its limitation , just say the truth instead of finding faults or blaming the customer or hiding behind self made rules

Service was great, ambience was good. I went there because friends suggested they served good cocktails there, unfortunately after getting our cocktails, those friends agreed that cocktails weren’t great anymore. My French martini tasted like water, couldn’t taste vodka, chambord or even pineapple juice. and every single cocktail my friends ordered tasted watered down. It was disappointing.

This is a bar that easily becomes one of your favourites. Everything about this bar is top notch - the cocktails are unique and well made, with local flavours. The food is delicious - we had the buff, corn, fries, and more. The ambiance is tasteful and the vibe outstanding. And finally, the staff here are world class - very kind, attentive, and proud to show off their skill and the great bar they’ve built.

Best Speakeasy Bar in Kathmandu. Definitely one of my favorite cocktail bar in town. Amazing ambiance: relaxed and classy. the service level was impeccable and service team was very knowledgeable. Signatures Drinks are localized and beautifully balanced. Excellent flavor pairing of the ingredients. Classic Cocktails were phenomenal. Kudos to all the service members. Loved the place. Yes I am late in visiting the place. The drinks are original and exceptional. The food are fusion and delicious. Loved the atmosphere, vibe, service, the kind of people who visit, the music. Yes, though I have visited only once, I have nothing to complain about. Park at Bluebird complex, take the lift to sixthe floor and walk up one floor. The door does not have any handle, but it opens, just try. Gets busy around 11 pm.

Really loved the ambience. The place to go your night out. Cocktails were very interesting. Didn't try the food yet, will do next time. Very friendly and well trained staff with prompt service.

Had the best time at this place. Cocktails were unique yet familiar, and everything was on point. From the understated yet classy decor to the warmth provided by the staff who are helpful and great at their job, Barc is definitely worth visiting time and again. Highly recommended.

Gave the Bloody Peat and Aila Sour a try, which are very different from the usual cocktails one is accustomed to; were delicious with distinctive flavor. Definitely deserve additional stars for getting creative with their cocktails, while keeping them flavorful! Hospitality was also great.

This place is AWESOME! As a cocktail fanatic, I’ve been to many of the Asia’s Top 50 bars. Barc should rank among top of that list! Inventive cocktails infusing local flavors, plus great ambience and amazing service. I’d recommend anyone visiting Kathmandu!

This place is beyond impressive!!! Very deserving to be Asia’s top 50 bars. The drinks are unique, creative, and delicious!! The food is also amazing and so on point with bold flavours, which is so rare for a bar. Service is fantastic. Music is vibing!! Guaranteed a good time. I’ll come back to Kathmandu for Barc.

Barc serves really good and amazing cocktails. Had gone there one late Saturday and the place was packed with well heeled crowd. The bar staff were all wonderful and they knew what they were doing. Love this place.

Service and decor was exquisite. Margarita for a cocktail bar was disappointing.(Texture was very watery) Nachos below par as well

Only speakeasy bar in Nepal if I’m not wrong. But I love the vibe at this place. I’ve been to many speakeasy bars around the world and this one has that vibe. Drinks are in the pricier side compared to Nepal. Overall chill place to hang with friends.

Every cocktail we ordered here were fantastic. Great vibe and awesome food too. The servers and bartenders are extremely friendly. We ran into the owner and ended up having an amazing night( the parts that we can remember 😂). Highly recommended if you are in Kathmandu 🍻
