Edit: With a condescending and arrogant reply I now no longer recommend you eat here at all. A poor reflection of what a restaurant should be, the worst management I've seen. Disclaimer: I am critically reviewing this restaurant under the pretense of "fine" dining and not by regular restaurant standards. Firstly the issues that I have with the physical restaurant itself. Small cramped, small uncomfortable wooden chairs that don't give "fine dining experience". The interior of the restaurant is no better, outdoor chairs being used for indoor seating with very minimal atmosphere. The toilets aren't very clean for what one would consider a "fine dining" restaurant, most regular restaurants and cafes have cleaner ones. The staff: the staff are probably the only reason this review isn't a 1 star. But still not good enough to bolster the rating to a three. The staff still treat customers based on ethnicity rather than equal standing. I saw obvious favoritism to foreign patrons compared to local ones. I don't fault the staff for this but the poor training that was provided. Atmosphere: the attempt at atmosphere and creating an outdoor experience is On to the food itself: for a "fine dining" experience, the food is terrible. There is no round about way to say that this isn't fine dining whatsoever. The food is mediocre at best, something one can order for a MUCH cheaper price at a local steakhouse or cafe. The cooking sadly even misses it's mark when it comes to execution and taste. I personally o

It was such great experience visiting Le Sherpa restaurant. It was my first time there and i am in love with the place. The ambiance is beautiful and so is the environment. Calm, peace and lovely weather with little dripping rain made my experience even better. I agree the menu pricing is a little bit too much but its all worth it with the service, taste of food and ambiance. Talking about staffs they were very vigilant and caring. I was welcomed with a warm greeting (namaste) at the counter and i could see him smile though he had his mask on. He then offered me sanitizer and asked me the number of people joining. I was alone obviously so i chose small table. The guy pulled me a chair then offered me a sit. I was presented with menu immediately. I was amazed with how prepared he was. Then he told me he will be back with bottle of water and left. Later another staff came and served me water and he told me he will be my waiter. I asked to change the table to bigger one and the waiter assisted with my glass of water and transfered me. I was already in awe with service and rest of the experience was even better. Food was up-to the price i paid for. The richness in risotto and perfect combination of flavors in prawn is still unforgettable to my mouth. I spent nearly an hour there and could see all staffs working so hard and equally doing their best. I could see the shortage of staffs clearly but with all that also they were very cheerfull and caring. I will definitely come back for more. Ps: 1 star is for high pricing of menu ;)

A very posh place with great ambience. The farmers market is quite a big event, bringing life to the place. The food (breakfast), however, was just good. I was expecting it to be special, but it was not. Not that the food was bad, but what you got for the price was not so satisfying. Other than that, all was great, the staff, the ambience, the service. Farmers market is good.

My expectation was already very high. I liked most of the items except for the penne, ravioli and the Bruschetta which were average.

This was my first time at Le Sherpa. Food was exceptional 💯 Pricing is on the higher side but rest is all up to the mark. A perfect fine dining experience. The staffs were polite and explained the menu well. They also did recommended us dishes for our veggie colleagues. We were there on a Jan evening, I missed proper heating arrangement on the outdoors. Highly recommended 🙏

We were there on Saturday during the Farmer's Market. You can find different vendors offering varieties of products. You can find items such as Fruits, Vegetables, Eggs, Home made Jam and Juice, Bakery items, Laphing, Big momo, and many more. Found the price of some items on the higher side here than on their own stores outside but definitely a place to visit and experience.

I used to love this place for my stake cravings. Recent they’ve been lacking in their quality of meat. Service is always great. Location is amazing. Can’t complain about anything else besides lack of good quality meat. Lamb chop is always a good choice. Salmon is also one of the best in the city.

You can get good food here. The ambience of the restaurant is also very pleasing. And the location is also accurate. You can come here if you are looking for good food and if you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Once you enter this place it gets really peaceful without all the noise of the vehicles.

The staff at Le Sherpa made sure our birthday celebration was memorable. They were responsive on messages and organised a chocolate cake as requested. Lovely ambience and music too. Perfect for a date night. Only downside was the meant on the duck breast was a little tough and chewy. But highly recommend the braised goat with carrot risotto along with a bottle of wine!

Worst experience, went for breakfast and found hair on my Eggs Benedict . Told to staff and it was replaced with same stuff without hair ( same salmon). Aren't you supposed to change everything when you have hair on the dish you prepare. Totally amazed with the service recovery process.

Incredible place. So great welcoming and amazing food. The place is in good location and there is a "french market" going on every saturday morning. All goods are best quality and little bit expensive as well.

32 Marriage Anniversary so we went to Le Sherpa in a cold 26 January night… devoid of any souls because of Omicron the whole place was for us. Luckily all heaters we switched on kindly and after we opened a bottle of wine we were warm and happy. The soups were amazing, prawn starters good too. The Australian lamb was delicious and the array of veggies were generous too. Loved the Mustang organic potatoes but did not like the carrots which were big and not organic at all. Le Sherpa runs the Farmers Market every Saturday so please do give organic veggies & hike the price reasonably. Loved everything but the shaky table🍀👍🍀

Le sherpa(Farmers market) a place you NEED to go to atleast once. You can go alone, with friends or even family. You get to experience alot of things there from fresh poultry to different types of dishes. My usual go to's are bagel with salmon, spinach quiche and italian food from piano b. Saldy piano b wasnt there last time.

Nice ambiance, very modern and Western-like. Great place to have a drink, especially after dusk. Food was fresh, but not the best one you can get in Kathmandu. A little overpriced too, seems fair for the atmosphere but dishes need some serious improvement.

Nice place but it's not worth at all anymore. Extremely expensive but mid quality food. Would not recommend the plane for dinner.

Excellent service, good food, but not worth giving 5 stars in both cases. Should you taste draught beer and square potato thingy, which I forgot the name. Good parking space and lots of shops, handcrafted and made in Nepal products are sold around.

I have been to Le Sherpa Restaurant a total of four times, since 2021. Twice for breakfast and twice for dinner. Positive things about restaurant is the ambience... very calm and relaxing atmosphere whether having breakfast or dinner. I have always eaten on the outside patio and have enjoyed the experience. As for the food, I have had relatively positive experiences with dinner. Menu is limited and pricey, but quality is good. My last dining experience was having breakfast on a Saturday morning. I ordered scrambled eggs... this is a safe bet because no one can screw-up scrambled eggs. Unfortunately, Le Sherpa served up cold, overly creamed eggs. I swear I was going to get ill from these eggs... fortunately I did NOT. I've had better breakfasts at SOMA and even MIKES. One expects a 1st class dining experience from Le Sherpa. The breakfasts, for the price is AVERAGE. I like Le Sherpa, but probably going somewhere else for breakfast....

The food is not well seasoned and is quite underwhelming considering the price range. I have only come here during the weekend farmer’s market so maybe it’s because of the crowd, but all 4 separate instances that i have dined here, the food was not very memorable. The only thing I truly enjoyed was their yoghurt and granola bowl, which is just some seasonal fruits, granola and yoghurt. The atmosphere is lovely though.

Farmers' Market is an excellent avenue for basically Nepali farm based produce and products. Open only on Saturdays between 8am to 12 noon, this is a wonderful place to buy organic food. Another interesting aspect about this place to taste variety of local and food of international origins. Find an amazing time here at Farmer's Market which is held in the premises of Le Sherpa, Lazimpat. A wonderful place to be.

Very good environment, staffs are friendly and the dining place is beyond perfect. Just loved the ambience also the food. It's a perfect place to spend the weekend or go out for a brunch with friends and family. Very peaceful environment. The place is very spacious. The prices are slightly high but the food tastes amazing. Enjoy your weekend.
